Did your hair grow back thicker when it grew back? I am thinking about it as my roots are really damaged as when I was young - lots of washing, teasing and towel drying! And now I’m thinking about shaving it completely - trying to future out of if there will actually be a change?
I shaved my head a year ago last month! Your videos were SOOO helpful when it came to styling tips. You have such a great attitude, awesome heart, and you look great! Like you I tried to keep it as natural as I could for a year, but I did trim the mullet twice lol. Now that I’ve reached a year I’m celebrating with some orange pink hair 😉.

I just found your channel. I went through cancer and chemotherapy last year. In fact my last day of treatment was 2 days short of 1 year ago. My hair texture is totally different. I’ve always had very fine, straight hair but a lot of it. I still have a lot of hair but it’s now course and curly. I’m actually loving the curls and how quick it is to style and get ready in the morning.
Congratulations on finishing your treatment! I was just diagnosed the day before Thanksgiving. Had surgery a week ago, and will need another surgery since they didn’t get clean margins and need to take a few lymph nodes. Then the radiation etc.
Your hair looks amazing with the shaggy mullet style and straightened. I'm growing out my shaved sides it's been 4 months and it's filling in fast , can't wait til it's long enough to wear in a bun.
I'm trying to grow out my hair for the second time now. I shaved it December 2018 after years of just wanting to do it. Then shaved it again in September. There are days that I love it and other days that I absolutely hate it. Your videos are definitely inspiring me to stick to growing it out this time.

My hair was so damaged the first part of this year. I tried everything, so I decided to just leave it alone and boy my hair is sooooooo much healthier. I haven't used anything on my hair not heat, no bleach no color, nothing. I let it air dry and only wash once or twice a week. I'm very proud of myself. I'm one of those type of girls that loves to do everything and anything to their hair lol. So I feel yah on wanting to color it again. I think I may very soon. I love watching makeup and hair videos from you. :)

Yay for 12 months! My hair is too crazy to not use heat tools and it tends to grow pretty fast. I don’t really know what a balayage is but if you want to do that then go for it!

I'm currently growing out a buzz cut and I was looking for buzz cut growing out journeys and I came across this video. And I'll tell you, this is a great way for people to hear about Jesus. Even unbelievers shave their head and I can imagine that many came across this video and heard the Name of Jesus and your testimony of faith in Him. Praise God 🙌🏻 He will get the glory in all things. I love doing my hair too and heat styling it too. your hair looks great it’s great to see your journey from the beginning. I love to see you coloring your hair loved your old colored hair .I don’t think you should cut just let it grow out maybe updates every 3-6 months to see the growth.

I love it!! If you do updates, you could do different hair styles for whatever length your hair is at? Just a thought! I am growing mine out, but what are your suggestions for haircut ideas to not have the mullet (yet still want to grow my hair out)?
You know those tri-fold poster boards you can get for kid's science projects? I usually get them at Walmart out here, but I know some drug stores like Rite Aid or CVS carry them too. I personally love them for plotting out novels. I'm about to do a big plotting project with one of mine for my thesis. If you want to keep tracking your hair, maybe you could put them on there for video updates. You'll have a lot more room than your planner and it would free up some note pages. You could get really fancy with some lettering too on the board. I love your hair updates, but I also appreciate the updates on your grandma and aunt. I do pray for them. Cancer is an ongoing fight and I lost my cousin's mom's to breast cancer a few years ago. I feel like this hair series has been a great ode to your grandma and aunt.
Anyway, do what you want to your hair. I have tried to stop dying mine because it's gotten thin from health issues, and hair dyes tend to make it freak out even though it takes them really well. (We'll see how long that lasts if Josh points out another gray hair...and I'm hoping now that the pesky surgery is over with, that maybe it'll start getting healthier.) I think your hair is beautiful as-is but I know the layers would drive me nuts! Oh, what was the name of the hair vitamins you used? I've been thinking about trying something for mine.

Please do more hair updates!! Your hair looks beautiful and so healthy! Even if it’s a short video just comparing the length every few months I would love it! I think you can cut it if you want, I just just take note of how much you cut off and keep track of that also so you can say how much your hair grew at the two year mark and then you can add in however many inches you cut off for the total length.
Also I’m very sorry to hear that your aunt’s cancer came back and so did your grandmother’s. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving together

Did you ever get it trimmed or anything like that along the way? I’m a few weeks into shaving my head and so I’m working on growing it but I’m debating if I need to keep it trimmed for a cute cut along the way or just suck it up and not touch it. Thank you for your updates!!!!!
I'm also few months in and I really recommend keeping the sides and back short for at least first 6-8 months... I personally am truly not digging the mullet look that she is and at the end, she's gonna cut the back anyway, to make the cut more blunt and even. I personally think pixie cuts are super cute, so why not enjoy them when we can?

I shaved my head about a year ago as well and I've decided that, even though my hair is fresh and new and natural, I'm going to keep dying it. I just dont feel like myself without the control over what color my hair is. So dont worry about it! If you want to dye it, go for it! Especially since your hair is so great to begin with, and it grew so fast.

@@mahmudanasreen6390 My hair was already kinda thick to begin with, and I haven't noticed much of a change since I shaved it. But it is possible that it could work for you since you have damage that goes down to your roots. I'm not an expert, but I think it would be worth a try!

i am a bit late to comment, your hair grew out really nice, it gives me hope that in 11 months i will also have nice hair. i shaved my impulsively, and i totally hate it. i hate my natural color and having no length. perhaps it gets better when i have my fringe back at least.

I highly recommend argan rain products whish is te best hair growth/hair thinning treatment. I have searched a lot of products but belive me other products does not work fast like this one and if you combine it with argan oil you will get even quicker results. I am happy with the results
