Don't dye it. It looks so pretty the color it is naturally. 😭 I think you should straighten it to see the length fully. Also, after your one year mark, I think you should continue to document your hair journey.
Hi Jackie! I'm 13 and I love watching your hair growth update videos because I'm three months behind you. In December of last year, I was diagnosed with alopecia. In March, all my hair fell out. But since then, I have been getting injections and my hair is growing back really healthy. I'm almost on month 8 but I think my hair grows pretty fast because my hair is 6 inches already and I don't do anything to my hair. Your hairstyle videos always give me inspiration because we have very similar hair. I'm so excited to see what you do to your hair when you reach a full year, you're almost there!💖💖💖
Ugh I’m so excited!!!! I’m honestly so proud of you😫😫 I’m growing out my pixie and your tutorials have helped me sooo much, thank you for taking us on this journey with you!!
I first started watching your hair growth update because I was moved that you did it for your aunt and wanted to see how the hair would grow back in a year without any styling/cutting. But then I got diagnosed with breast cancer in April and then in May all of my hair fell out due to chemo. I've just finished chemo and now doing radiotherapy. My parents and my friends have told me that my hair is starting to grow back so that's where I am at with my hair journey. I am not sad or upset that my hair had fallen out but it was really cold in winter (I live in Australia). Though I am looking forward to my hair growing back, the most exciting thing I am looking forward to is to see how I look like with short hair (like boys cut, not sure what it is called) because I never had short hair before.
I am currently on month 6, entering month 7, and I know the feeling of a mullet! 😩 The struggle is real! LOL I am thankful for your videos. I will straighten my hair sometimes, but I am constantly putting my hair up or having headbands. The awkward length is so annoying! I like the idea of a balayage!! Congrats to you and your Auntie 💕🥰
When I first cut my hair back in August, my hair was styled the same as yours. Now it's growing out. But omg you are almost close to the end, I am excited to see what you do next month.
11 months for me too!!! So exciting! I took prenatal, biotin, and hair skin and nails vitamins religiously for the first 4-5 months.. I haven’t been taking them since. I have straightened my hair maybe 4 times this whole journey and sad to say it doesn’t make the mullet look any better...My hair is the same length as yours. I don’t think I’m gonna cut my mullet off at my one year.. I think I’ll wait till like February and then cut it. I have just been wearing my hair half up half down (three year old style. But I do get a lot of compliments about it. I’m interested to see what your hair will look like if you do decide to cut the mullet at your one year... so I’ll keep watching.
I’m at a similar length rn. I’m going to get a trim soon and then wait at least 6 months before any coloring. I have absolutely loved documenting my hair growth. It’s so satisfying seeing the progression in pictures. Have a good day! Well wishes to your aunt.
Flat iron it. Style it. I can't wait for you to style it. 😊 next month, to celebrate the 12th month update - it is nice if you create your first hairstyle with heat tools and at the end of the video, you can maybe show your pictures from 0 to 12 months 😊 so excited!! 😊😊
Wooww it's almost been a year I can't believe it!! I still remember the video, I was so moved by your decision to shave your hair. Ahhh I love your natural hair, looking beautiful as always ❤️❤️
GIRL... I can't wait to see what hairstyles you come up with. And what color and/ or cut you choose. I'm excited for you.😁 I would love for you to do a UA-cam live while you do your first hot tools hairstyle. 😀
I think IT looks really good I've did a pixie cut years ago and the grow out was really bad where I had a mullet and had to keep cutting it and cutting it out to get rid of the mullet, but yours looks really good and the color and healthy state of it make look even prettier, just style it and you'll see the big difference, and just keep growing it out.
Don't color your hair. Your natural hair color is beautiful & it's healthier. When you colored it orange, it looked dry & brittle. This is more you.♥️👍
I just hit my 1 year mark and am still torn what to do with my hair ! Should I trim the mullet or just let my hair grow out? Ugh im tired of wearing my hair up in a ponytail. At the same time I’m not ready for the high maintenance of a bob (needing to straighten it daily) 🤷🏻♀️
I’m 11 months in on the same journey and I so badly want to trim my ends (because there’s still some dye from the tiny bits I left) but I want to leave it untouched
i love doing a nice scalp massage !! and i use a wooden brush to Distribute my natural oils throughout my head !! and i think you should def get a style and get a bayalage !!! go girl! proud od u ! its very hard not to use hot tools !!
Im in 11 mouths thats how my hair looks like but my bangs are up to my nose and it itches badly I remember the first mouth crying but than I found you i just want it to be long
I agree I think you should just leave it alone and let it be natural. Why cut it when it took this long just to grow it out after shaving yourself bald?
I think your hair looks totally cute like this! Definitely not Joe Dirt. My favorite style on you was your long blonde hair right before you went orange, although I know it was super unhealthy! My favorite on me was platinum/white hair, but I haven't colored it in over a year (although it's still a pixie cut) I miss the lightness- but NOT the maintenance! A balayage would be pretty! And definitely straighten it before you decide to do a major chop!
I have been growing my hair out with you this whole time. I couldn't have done it without you! You helped me stay on track! 😁😁
Don’t dye it! Your natural shade is beautiful and it looks so healthy!

You should try out foam rollers while you're waiting to use heat!
I’m on month 10 right now. Idk what I’d do without Jack Jacks videos 😩 been watching them since my day 1 buzz cut
I would say just to get a trim to even it out a bit! It'll grow much faster if you don't use heat or chemicals on it! x

Even out the mullet for a nice layered bob no bleach! Grow it out and healthy
I shaved my head around the same time as you and we’re at very similar lengths right now :)

I just hit 10 months and went for my first haircut! My hair is now a cute short bob and I love it😍 can't Wait to see what you do with yours!

you should get it cut evenly for your 1 year mark!!

Kirsty I would suggest going for a layered bob, still keeping a lot of the new growth, and really just getting rid of that longest bottom layer.
The layers help minimize the bulk, meaning you don’t have to straighten it too often!!
Alejandra R. Thankyou !
I’m 11 months in on the same journey and I so badly want to trim my ends (because there’s still some dye from the tiny bits I left) but I want to leave it untouched
I’m on month 4... second time I shaved my head... I would like to grow it out now. So I’m following your tips haha.
i love doing a nice scalp massage !! and i use a wooden brush to Distribute my natural oils throughout my head !! and i think you should def get a style and get a bayalage !!! go girl! proud od u ! its very hard not to use hot tools !!
I am on my 7 months hair growth and l have already reached this length,Lol cant wait to see when l reach 1 year
Im in 11 mouths thats how my hair looks like but my bangs are up to my nose and it itches badly I remember the first mouth crying but than I found you i just want it to be long
my hairs currently at 11 months and 4 days of growth im over it 😭
I've been cutting my mullet and my bangs are like the same length as yours but my hair still looks like a pixie :(
I am really liking your natural hair color. If you do something just cut it. 👍🏼👍🏼
I’m almost at 11 months of hair growth
Chop it back into a pixie or dye it with crazy colors
Cut the mullet and get blonde highlights!!!!
I agree I think you should just leave it alone and let it be natural. Why cut it when it took this long just to grow it out after shaving yourself bald?
It's been 5months since I shave my head

A balayage would be pretty! And definitely straighten it before you decide to do a major chop!
You should shape it and when it gets to your desired length then go for the color 😊
Don't colour it
Well, don’t cut it! Lol just let it grow out☺️😋 btw you’re so pretty in the vlog💕
Don't dye it 😭 your natural hair color is beautiful
Great hair growth! Love it!♡
I shaved my hair and I feel sad :(
I liked when your hair was very short!!
Dont dye it! Love the natural color of it! I think once you can flat iron it, will be great
Beautiful hair 🥰
Get a trim. It's so healthy.
Month 1 from a SHAVED *with a razor* head lol
Go blue!!
Do a nice haircut that you have a nice style again and curls
Omg almost 1 yearrr
Your hair are way to short for 11 months
The 11 months have gone so fast 😲
Just trim the ends and shape it 😊 👍
Straighten it :)
