I said a decade ago that the world car market would be dominated by Tesla and Chinese brands. Even though I didn’t know of any Chinese car brands I knew that they would be investing heavily and would not have the liability of their own internal combustion assets. I could see how slow western car companies were progressing so it made the statement even more clear.

Great looking car, nice fit and finish. Many features are just like Tesla but better looking. My concern would be warranty and service centers. The more tech involved, the more that you need the knowledgeable techs to keep it running. If I ever move back to GZ I will definitely need a self driving car that speaks English 👍.

I've already seen these cars on the road here since last year across Malaysia and Singapore and presumably elsewhere in SE Asia too with its nearly 1-billion people and countless cars. You can buy them for as little as $8000 - $10,000 for a small entry-level model. The cheapest car in the US is almost 4X that much.
Given the current political environment between China and the United States, it is impossible for the United States to buy cheap, high-quality Chinese cars. Absolutely impossible! It's not that China doesn't sell it, but that the United States is not allowed to buy it!
I always had faith in china, but i have to admit, even i didn't anticipate that china could come to the forefront of the vehicle industry so fast. I would say the Germans still have a "slight" edge in design, but the Chinese are really closing up FAST!

If they could just ramp up production, they could sell 10'000's in the USA, but of course taking care of domestic demands first is less of a hassle.
Remember back to the 70’s when Japanese cars entered u s market , if you were driving a Japanese car , then parked on a street or any public road , often with damage or some what warning on the windshield when you pick it up , it took 10 years for the North American loyalty brands to realized and accepted the reality , as for now , if Chinese brand’s electric cars entre the North America market , I would expect the same resemblance treatment towards Chinese brand made cars , personally I would “ love” to own one as soon as I can purchase one , ( I do live in North America) !

VPN nowadays is no longer as effective as it used to be. Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Disney + that I have already are able to detect if you are on a VPN. Amazon would tell you to disengage the VPN, Disney + would not start to play until you disengage the VPN. Netflix also does the same thing.

According to Chinese news reports, some Chinese brand new energy electric vehicles are about to land in the UK. I don’t know if there is such a car. But the car has already landed in Russia.
I've already seen these cars on the road here since last year across Malaysia and Singapore and presumably elsewhere in SE Asia too with its nearly 1-billion people and countless cars. You can buy them for as little as $8000 - $10,000 for a small entry-level model. The cheapest car in the US is almost 4X that much.

I always had faith in china, but i have to admit, even i didn't anticipate that china could come to the forefront of the vehicle industry so fast. I would say the Germans still have a "slight" edge in design, but the Chinese are really closing up FAST!
Chinese have a few huge advantages over the Germans, cheaper energy, human and material resources cost and also massive massive industrial capacity that brings the unit price of each car down. I think China is competing with Japanese and Korean auto industry right now, though.
