Ingredients - Recipe One / Pumpkin Pie A
One pack of ready made shortcrust pastry -
(Blind bake for 15/20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius /356 degrees Fahrenheit / Gas Mark 4)
One 425g pumpkin puree /15oz (Not pie filler)
3/4 cup / 150g granulated sugar
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
3 tbsp cornflour or cornstarch
One can 354ml evaporated milk / 12oz
Cook pie with filling in oven for 45/50 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius /356 degrees Fahrenheit / Gas Mark 4)
Ingredients - Recipe Two / Pumpkin Pie B (Our favourite)
One pack of ready made shortcrust pastry
(Blind bake for 15/20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius /356 degrees Fahrenheit / Gas Mark 4)
9 tbsp aquafaba (I used OGGS)
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp vanilla extract
One 425g pumpkin puree /15oz (Not pie filler)
One can 397ml condensed milk / 14oz
Cook pie with filling in oven for 45/50 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius /356 degrees Fahrenheit / Gas Mark 4)
