My husband and mother in law said this is the BEST pumpkin pie they have ever had! So thank you Natasha! I have never made a homemade crust and my husband was so happy with my first attempt using your recipe- he said it was excellent and tasted like a shortbread cookie. Thanks for a wonderful video and making my Thanksgiving dessert a hit with all the right people!

My dad has been in the hospital since last Sunday with Congestive Heart Failure, Water in his Lungs, COPD, and Pneumonia... with lack of oxygen going to his brain, he experienced acute delusion. I have been sleeping on a hospital chair since Sunday. My little brother relieves me for a little bit, so I can shower and grab a quick 3 hour nap. Then I go back to take care of him. He is slowly progressively getting better but it's slow. I honestly needed this video, it really made me happy and hopeful. God Bless you and your family! Happy Cooking!

I have used several different recipes through the years. This one is BY FAR the best I've found. The filling is delicious and like eating an expensive custard. You will not be disappointed with this one and will probably never use another recipe after you taste this one. It's sooooo addictive.

I've Loved pumpkin pie ever since I was a kid My grandmother used to make an Old fashioned pumpkin pie and I love it I still do this day but she passed away in 2000 so I haven't had a a homemade pumpkin pie in a long time I can't wait to make my own the store bought is okay but it's not my grandma's you take care of dear and God bless

This sounds so good! And for the first time someone showed and explained about how to use the pie weights thoroughly. And pricking the pie after the weights are removed and putting it back in the oven for a bit is just genius! Thank you as always for your wonderful teaching and recipes😊!❤!

LIBBY'S Pumpkin is made from pumpkin. Other brands are made with Squash. We lived near a Libby's Pumpkin field many years ago, and they gave us fruit that grew on the fence row. Amazingly good fresh pumpkin!
I have to make the whip cream. Mmmm. I love the way you cook. Also I’m going to try your turkey. But after it cooks for an hour in the grill I pour red wine and the juice of the turkey with the wine I bast and it comes outs so so good.

It's usually mentioned in the recipe, I add some notes if it can be made ahead. For this pie, you can pre-bake the crust a day or two ahead and even completely bake and refrigerate the pie two days ahead.

Hi Natasha, we just made the pie yesterday. This is by far the best pumpkin pie I have ever eaten. Thumbs up👍👍👍👍. The flavor of the filling is so rich, creamy and yummy. The pie crust is also very good. It is so crispy and buttery. The recipe is the bomb! Yay, I don’t have to buy pumpkin pie anymore. Thanks to your wonderful recipe. The best!
I was disappointed when you didn’t didn’t dip the piece of crust into the whipped cream before you ate it. ☹️
