So, I made this for our celebration dinner, and let me tell you! Delicious! I love the almond flour crust. Just like Maya said. Velvety smooth. I did bake the filling longer - about 50 minutes. And I used coconut oil instead of butter. And I didn't miss it at all. Thanks Maya! Trying the 🍌 bread next!
I noticed that when you lifted the slice up, the filling was still way too “goopy” for my taste preference. How much longer do you estimate I should bake it for? I like a much more dry, firm pie filling. Thank you very much!
Decided to make this today and it’s currently setting. I didn’t have molasses or brown sugar Besti so I made it without. Can’t wait to try it in the morning for breakfast 😊
I will definitely use this recipe, this Thanksgiving. I tried another keto pie recipe and it was not great. This one has better ingredients and recipe that I think will work.
Yes, the outer sections are a bit firm and the center is jiggly like jello. I wanted to include the jiggling in the video but had an issue with that part of the footage. Sorry I didn't get to your question sooner, but I saw from your other comment that it turned out for you, so glad to hear that!
I haven't tried it in this specific recipe as I typically use powdered when a smooth texture is desired, but in theory it should work since Besti dissolves much more easily than other sugar substitutes.
PLEASE MAYA, HELP US UNDERSTAND HOW MOLASSES KEEPS THIS PUMPKIN PIE "SUGAR FREE"? THERE IS NO SUGAR FREE MOLASSES. INGREDIENTS: REFINED SUGAR CANE OR SUGAR BEETS, SOMETIMES GRAPES. HELLLLP!! LOL THANK YOU SWEETIE
Hi Dee, Like Maceo said, the molasses is optional and I give another option in the video. Also, the entire recipe contains 1 teaspoon of molasses, which is equivalent to 3.3 grams of sugar from molasses in the ENTIRE pie (meaning 1/8 or 1/12 of that in a slice, depending on how many slices you cut the pie into). Thus, the amount per slice is neglible, but despite this I still gave other options.

Great video. How jiggly in the middle? Does that mean the outer sections are firm?

For the filling, can I use maple syrup instead of the sweetener that you recommend? How long exactly did you bake it for?
Ooooh.... 🤤 I'm so excited 😁
Hope you'll try it, Tiffany!
This is my best pie that I get my mama always used to make for me for my birthday. I’m so glad you did this Friday. Thank you so much. Thank you😊
@@WholesomeYum Definitely will!
Mmmm Yummy!🥰
Can you use the plain besti monkfruit sweetener instead of powder in the filling?
I haven't tried it in this specific recipe as I typically use powdered when a smooth texture is desired, but in theory it should work since Besti dissolves much more easily than other sugar substitutes.
Can we get your products in the UK ?
Great channel, you are so pretty! 😊😀
Close, good guess!
I filled this with keto lemon curd for Passover
To be more like traditional pumpkin pie, you can put her 2 ingredient condensed milk to use here.😁
❤❤❤
😋😋😋👍👍👍
ALLULOSE UPSETS MY STOMACH
Use monk fruit or erythritol
🧡🧡🧡
The 2 sides of aluminum foil made no difference! Shiny or not. ( look it up)!
