Is there a way of verifying whether an Elastolin castle is actually the model 9733 mentioned in the manual? It's more important to get the rough dimensions than have the actual model, I think. Someone could make one out of wood blocks or really anything if they were just interested in playing the game, rather than the historical replication. I hope you post more videos about your playthrough of the game, very few videos out there documenting it.
Hahahha, good question. My day job is as the CEO / Creative Director of a video game VFX specialist company, Undertone FX. All of those monitors get used. The bottom three for unreal engines interface, viewport and particle editor (or equivalent for our clients that use custom engines). The upper ones are for slack, source control, discord, reference and other stuff.
So… this game… is the precursor to Chainmail, which is the precursor to Dungeons & Dragons. I believe the pdf outlines not only the battlefield itself, but also the rules. So I guess you could say that the game is… “The Siege of Bodenburg”!
