So I have seen a bunch of videos of how rough Hauler Inlet can be but a few where it is very calm. So is it a tidal thing that makes it that rough?

You only think they're cool cuz you don't live here. Dolphin are A-holes when you're fishing! They'll steal your bait and your fish! When the dolphin move into your fishing spot, it's best to just move on out. They'll out fish you 100% of the time! Little a-holes.. lol. But yeah, they're still cool.

The green hulled boat at 1:07, not often you see a boat that size with moveable ballast. It's a wonder they got the bow up, with the ballast ahead of the center of gravity.
