If u aint dropping it you aint learning. You'll be turning that scoot around in a single parking space in no time. Anybody can ride fast, takes training to learn how to ride slow. Clutch, throttle, rear brake. Trust this ole motorcop.

Part of being a rider. Please wear gloves I fell from my bike a Vrod back in the day twice. Save your skin. After falling it hurt but it made me better and helped me keep on learning. Stay humble, remember there are 2 types of riders those who have gone down and those who have yet to go down. Practice, practice, and practice.

Ok tip squad I’d have to say this is way more difficult on a Cruiser compared to a Busa. I grabbed my buddies Road Glide and tried to slow roll or turn from a stop. It’s extremely difficult for me 😂😂😂 hats off to Tiffany and her Husband for being fast learners.

😂 it was a complete opposite whenever I went to Motorcycle School. Those Precision turns are a lot easier on Cruisers then they were on my crotch rocket what caused the handlebars on a cruiser has a little bit more turning radius. The crotch rocket is equipped to go straight very fast more so than it is to make low speed turns

I am so glad that you have made the trip to learn more about the effectiveness of writing correctly and Robert Simmons. Much respect, my beloved brother because I know that you do not do this for financial gain, but you do it out of love because you don’t want anyone to get hurt, because I used to ride until I got paralyzed, but now regained a lot of use of my legs, but I’m back riding again. I have a Can-Am 250 and I have a Sea-Doo. I have not redline either of them as of yet, but my beloved sister to you and your husband enjoy the open air and the open road, and even when I’m driving in my car, I always give motorcyclist 3 to 4 car distance I’m sure that you will be coming very skill motorcyclist as well as your husband my wife will not even allow me to get her on the JetSki as far as the four wheeler she just bought that for me for my birthday and I had a little time with it because I had to tweak a few things on it such as the handlebars and the suspension and I noticed you came past Santee River down in those parts that’s why first began to ride and then you came past the south of the border brought back a lot of memories keep the faith God bless

Good to see you guys made it out there to Rob's place to practice. The key is to keep practicing. Always stay in that practice frame of mind. Look for opportunities to practice a skill even when on a ride. You don't always have to be in a lot with cones. For instance, if you ride out to the store to run an errand. Let's say you are going to Walmart, ride to the intersection to turn into the Walmart but don't. Ride up to the next intersection and make a U-turn. You just practiced a skill.

You are definitely doing a good job. And yup we all forget rain gear. A low seat height on a touring frame is very different than the high ultra classic seat. On an ultra I partly sit on the gas tank. Makes slow speed and other maneuvers easier even though the seat height is higher. I use to work at a hd dealer. So I got to pdi over 300 bikes..hehe with a 7 mile test ride. I still have a few harleys but ride everything. Mostly dualsport and advbikes. I 5:09 bet you would have fun and learn alot from an offroad course. All these skills cross over. Keep living the dream. And merry Christmas to you and the family.

The trick to the cones most people aren't used to the fairing not moving like it is on a road glide, but it's easier to flow with a street glide or a ultra limited due to the fact the fairing moves with the wheel

I was really interested on how you guys would do on slow sleep turns with handlebars like those.
Can you PLEASE try out a T-Bar set up.
Seeing you do a U-Turn looked like you're doing a Dab.
Your arms are so far apart.
A T-bar setup you'll be so much closer and will be able to cut the turn more.
Try Trashin Supply Co. Set up and make a video doing the same turns to feel the difference

Hey Tiff, About how many hours and about how many fuel/ rest stops did you take? I would like to take a similar yet shorter ride from ATL to Raleigh.

    • @tiffanyrene
      @tiffanyrene  11 місяців тому

Maybe 2 fuel stops about 4 hours

@@tiffanyrene I stand corrected and just googled…. Pooler is closer to you than Raleigh is to me, so I would may want to plan for 4 fuel stops and 7hrs. Thanks!

He kept saying rear brake rear brake. Front brake in slow movements with front turned is a prescription for disaster. I literally never use my front brake. Ever.

that bike looks sweet, but its set up wrong for the rider. The sweep on the bars forces the rider to move her arms a LOOOONG way to deliver big steering inputs. She can't steer hard to the right and utilize the clutch because her arms are not long enough.

Get deeper into the pattern. You’re cutting the corner, which actually makes the maneuver more difficult because you’re leaving yourself less room.
Don’t round off the turn; square up the turn. You look much better doing it that way, and looking good is important.

Good job! I would only suggest to practice for real without the camera. Sometimes you were too busy trying to look cute or paying too much attention to the cam. Not knocking you at all, but hopefully you're practicing what you learned for real without all the attention a camera brings. As for me, I thank you for making me want to practice some more. You did maneuvers I can't do yet. My concern is dropping my $50k bike, but I should think about my skills, not my bike.
