I traded my 2021 Road Glide Special for my 2022 Heritage and I gotta say I do miss the TPMS I liked looking at it and just having the security check all was good!
I check my tire pressures each time I go out on the weekends or before a trip. On a trip, I usually just rely on the TPMS but I do kick the tires each day on a trip to make sure they feel good.
Same here man, that TPMS tech is a game changer for sure. I love that we can now just get a quick glance at the tire pressure, specially after hitting a big bump on the road or something.
HWY 42 west :) Got pretty close to my house. I'm not a fair weather rider but not going to ride in the rain on purpose. Doesn't look good for Sunday morning. Wheels through time is freaking awesome!! Talk to Matt the curator, he is a hell of a nice guy. There are too many roads in the area to really recommend something. There is a motel in Robbinsville called the 2wheel in. Small place but have garages for your bike next to the room. We like those old school motels that have been renovated where you can park in front of your room. I could give you so many suggestions, I can't type it all here. Competitive cycles in Broadway, decent guys, decent price on tires. I have TPMS and don't check my pressure as much as I should. How have we never crossed paths before?
Hey brother, HWY 42 is such a nice ride. It can be a little bumpy at times but not too bad. I’m a little bummed, might have to postpone the ride to Asheville, been watching the news and the storm hit the area pretty bad. Historical levels of flooding going on, our trip starts on Sunday October 6 through the 12. Might need to pick another destination, so we’ll see once the storm passes if the roads are good.
I'm here for it dude. Just a ride, on a nice day, letting me see a place I've never been but would probably love to ride, is all I need. All the other stuff in the edit, and presentation isn't what makes me happy. You, rolling, going for a ride, that's what I dig. You'll learn to do different things as you go. The quality and vibe is on point already for me. Where you at again? Just curious. I recently moved to Mobile from Seattle. I don't have a bike currently, but it's a top priority. I've not ridden anything outside of California or Washington state. So I'd love to go see some cool roads here in the south. Do an Iron butt or two. Never mind, NC, that's right.
Hey brother, yes I’m in NC, in a town called Fuquay Varina just south of Raleigh. Thanks for the love man, glad you’re enjoying the videos, I’m having a lot of fun making them. There will be some new things brought in as I continue learning, but you can count on the vibe not changing much. So you’ve ridden west, I can’t wait to head west man, beautiful riding that way too. Currently planning to hit AZ next year, and man can’t wait to hit California. I lived in Hayward CA ( east bay just S of Oakland) from 2000-02. Loved it, but didn’t have a bike then, can’t wait to hit the PCH on my bike. Dream destination for sure. I hope you get your bike soon man, I too spent some time without one. Just got back on the saddle two years ago. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and hope to find you in the wind one day 😎🤙
@2wheels_goodvibes If you've never been, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park are bucket list rides. Redwoods and Sequoia trees up high in the Sierra. As for Washington state, ANYTHING on the west side of the state in summer is absolutely beautiful to ride. Mt. Ranier National Park and the North Cascades highway are epic. Everything on the west side is green and beautiful ro ride. What I liked about it, after growing up in California, was it being cool in the summer. Mid eighties-low 90's at most then mid 60's at night. 👌 perfect!
@@stevenwright6573yes never been there and for sure on my bucket list. I’m going to need to free up 3 to 4 weeks to get there ride up the PCH and then back. But that would be one for the books man, so looking forward to it!!
@@stevenwright6573definitely agree with the ride through Sequoia. Born/raised everywhere between Merced>Modesto and camped every year at Cherry Lake. Nothing ever highlighted my life like the drive in the Sierra's! Now I live in Georgia and that's the only thing I miss from California! 🤣

Yes, it is very convenient. But you got yourself a great ride, that new Softail chassis is just great!!

Always check my air pressure before
Right on my man 😎🤙
