So disappointing and unbelievable how they didn't think to give either of these figures both fist hands. Every Batman figure absolutely NEEDS two fist hands, period.
I feel you man.Mcfarlane reuses a lot of accessories and it's kind of annoying that Todd thinks fist hands are basically useless what I think. Especially for characters that don't use guns he gives them trigger finger hands possibly for the 20 dollar price but it's also repetitive that the MHA figures they did before few of them came with trigger finger hands despite the heroes in that anime don't use guns,The shoto and Ochako figures they did suffered from that.
I have both of these although I have the platinum edition Noel Batman an easy figure to find a few weeks ago when I went to a couple Targets finding five platinum edition figures at the two stores. I'm glad I got that one I do like the blue on it.
They have additional improvements to make, not the least of which is articulation - lower body articulation in particular. Poseability suffers tremendously on so many of their figs.
I'm pretty fussy about consistency with source art, and it bugs me the way they fudged the upper chest area where the cape, bat symbol, etc, come together. Really misses the coolness factor of the artist's creation in that area.
Was trying to figure out how the '24 version was bigger, and, on closer inspection, it's the lower leg area. They've been retooled/resculpted, and are longer. The thing that always made the base figure, pulled it all together for me? The cape. The original plastic cape was an EXCELLENT sculpt. This new one? Just doesn't work. It's not part of Bermejo's OG design and takes away a lot of the Bermejo look. Might be a nice cape, otherwise, but it isn't right, for me, for this figure. The platinum blue version? Easy skip. Todd's platinum variants are starting to become the garish, not as good variants, aimed at the scalpers/pyramid scheme crowd. Good review, matey. Merry Christmas.

It's McFarlane what else would you expect
No, not every McFarlane figure. EVERY figure, from any brand, requires 2 fists
@heitorsales6659 it's like the most basic requirement for a figure
@elijahaaron6949 ik right? Doesn't matter if the character punches or not, fists are default.

Great review, I really liked it, congratulations on the video.
The 2024 version is far superior! I'm so glad I waited for this one! Patience is the key! Thanks!!! :)
The only thing I like about the previous version is the cape!!! XD
When's the Christopher Reeve Superman review coming out?
Mcfarlane is the most stagnant company currently, pinless joints should be a default at this point, even Mattel figures have them
Also who the hell even wants a trading card with their action figure, they serve no purpose at all
@@elijahaaron6949Only useful when you put them in ziplocks with the accessories.
If McFarlane ever goes pinless, they would be dominating the market.
Not with those figure build😂
@power279 JADA has the best figures and builds right now for the price.
