I used the Space theme when I was a kid. Nearly made me cry seeing it again nearly 20 years later. Good times man...

Same here, but some scary stuff, back to 2002, when I was a kid.
I don't think it was a dream (but possibly a nightmare) and I can still remember that IBM PC using the Space theme in Windows.
One day at around 1 am when everyone was sleeping, including me, the PC next to my bed emitted some sounds (exactly those in the Space theme screensaver), those sounds made me to jump up, I was so scared, I saw the green PC power and num lock LEDs on keyboard were on, but no flashes on the HDD indicator. Without turning on the monitor to see what happened, I just turned on the desk lamp, held down the power button and the sounds had gone, but the num lock stayed on...
On next day, the PC still worked as usual. However the PC decided to stop working in 2004 due to an unknown hardware failure (I was too small to understand the messages shown on the POST screen).
Till today, I still have no idea why the PC did that to freak me out because I turned it off before I go to sleep, and why that num lock stayed on even the PC has been powered off.

I was really young when I discovered computers so I really loved playing around with the screensavers particularly 3d maze and textured flag, I can not tell you how many combinations of pictures I did for it.

I have used Me for less than a year, but i think it's a very good os for it's time. But now, the only old computer that i have is a windows 98 1st edition.
