can you make a followupvideo of the games kiwian has won if they are public, about how to play vs this style as vanguard? Because i loose to gauntdrops even when they are by far not as well executed and microed as parting does it, so i would really love to learn how to properly play and defend your base as the Vanguard player.
CC first into lancer pressure deals with this build quite well, lancers are giga tanks that don't care about gaunts or single shroudstones. I see a lot of vanguard players chase doombringers with large number of lancers, wrong move. You should have 2~ lancers per mineral line with a buzz saw bunker and the rest should be denying the 4th/3rd or harassing gaunts/imps. If you pull your workers from drops and don't lose more than a few scvs you're ahead. For some reason Vanguard players are allergic to building more than 1 buzz saw at a base and this is the sole reason why the imp push works. Parting himself on stream said that Vanguard players aren't but should play like terran, once they discover they can throw down more than 1 bunkers the success rate of bane busts will drop off a cliff.

Even if we move away from the timing attack, you can do the same thing with just imp drops.
But yes vanguard players will get better at it.
