Welcome to our latest video where we'll be upgrading the Audio System of our budget-friendly e91 Project. Our e91 Project car came with a baseline stereo system, but we've taken things up a notch by installing a Vibe amplifier and some OEM Bowers and Wilkins speakers.

Not use the gain for volume. It,'s to level your max output of your radio to your New amp. Gain low , radio to 80% , up the gain til the sound is not sounding crips and clean . Thats the spot for the gain.
oh thanks to be honest i didn’t know that iam not really into audio and hifi stuff i just tried to make the volum a bit louder and i will definitely try that thank u very much sir 👍🏻😊

i keep it under the headunit it fits perfekt in there :)

There are correct type speakers for your doors but bmw makes atleast 3 different types so you need to make sure you get the same ones

Hi, very good video and explanation. I have one question, can I use the RCA output to send signal straight to my Subwoofer that has a built-in amplifier? Thanks for any help
i use audio output directly from the headunit to the subwoofer but iam pretty sure the audio output from the amp will work aswell

@garage.86 thanks for your reply. I have connected the 2 harnesses and I am left with 2 unconnected wires. The Orange one is coming out of the white plug that goes into the amplifier and the Red one is coming out of the male plug in the middle of the harness. I know one can be used as the Remote wire to give signal to my boot subwoofer, but I'm not sure which on. Do you know by any chance?
Do you have info which series speakers would fit without cutting and messing with the panels? I am going to install the amplifier behind glovebox and also add in the hifi tweeters, but still need to think something about mid speakers.
i dont know for sure but i think a good opiton is Logic 7 speakers for e90 series they should fit without cutting i guess :)

It works with all cars/ radios if you can get a t harness
How do I replace the stock amp in the trunk with the vibe 65.4 because the connector that is plugged into the original amp does not fit the vibe amp at all.
the vide is just for cars without a factory amp intalled if u have already hi fi system from factory u cant use it i think

I am thinking about buying it for my E60. Do you know where I can put it in an E60? Underneath the Stock Radio?
I managed to place it beneath the radio where the ashtray cover slides in. This was possible since my E60 just had the most standard BMW Radio installed without Navigation. Fits perfectly down there including the whole cable stuff. Then i replaced all speakers with new ones from the company Axton. Also the under seat „woofers“ which only were 16 cm ones from BMW now Axton 20 cm plug and play Fitment. The Sound is incredibly rich and bassy and this even without Subwoofer installment. The rear speakers in the hat rack also 10 cm ones make a little rear fill, but actually you could leave them stock 😂 If you want to have more clarity sound with a good listening experience the Vibe Powerbox 65.4 is perfect. If you like more db and like a rolling discotheque, you better get a stronger amp which is connected to the battery with a rms power of 4 x 150 W or greater.
@mg4263 Hi, whats the best setting, in terms of HPF/ Full for Front and Rear channels?
If you just have speakers like I with no Subwoofer I had set it to FULL for all channels to get the most power for all speakers. With HPF or LPF the amp will cut out certain hz on the Upper ( HPF ) or Lower ( LPF ) frequency hz sounds.
The amp you show at the start has RCA leads for low-level inputs. You did not show the amp wiring harness. The CCC only has high-level speaker outputs. How was the amp connected? Were there line converters involved? It would have been more helpful to show all the bits before connecting and explain what each does. As it is all I can see is a mass of wires: not that helpful.
The amp comes with an adapter harness and u basically just plug it in between the car harness and the stock Head unit u cant plug it in wrong
Did you run new wires to the rear door speakers?
no i used the existing wires, also the speakers have the same connector as the stock ones
