Thank you for this. I'm still loving my Nesco VS-12. I've never had a problem with it. It's a real workhorse in my kitchen. It's lasted much longer than any of my Food Savers that I've had over the decades.
This is actually a question instead of a comment. How do you remove just a small amount of air with the FoodSaver V4400 in order to vacuum and seal pastry and rolls without crushing them?
I need to se seal perfumes (in bottles 50-150ml) and I am a fool and I have no patience- I need small, convenient, that provides good seals, does not over do it- automatic?- foolproof, super easy to use

I've had my FoodSaver V4400 for about 10 years and It's still going strong.
The FoodSaver V4400 is MILES AHEAD of the Avid Armor USV20. Mine has been lasting me for years.

I think it has a delicate food setting for this.
