To you. As far as I'm concerned, aside from Deadpool, the others were bland in comparison. CW was just cheese with a lot of action. Fun to watch, but not particularly impact-full.

I always wonder why Matthew Vaughn never got the chance again, first class is still the best in this reboot.

Well opinions are split, personally DoFP is my favourite, closley followed by X2 and First Class.
Nothing against Singer, but if Vaughn directed Apocalypse he would've knocked it out of the park
X2 was good for its time. I definitely liked where they were going with Jean Grey...b4 Fox got rid of Singer smh

+Ultron is Superior yeah. civil war might be the number 1 however in my opinion most fans are carried away by the ideology between cap and ironman, and the action which is awesome btw but story wise the plot seemed to be meh and very underwhelming which is very important for a movie.

yeah but throughout the movie we didnt know what is the villain is up to so im confused till the end, for me i got the feels when Tony was approached by a woman who's son had died in Sokovia because he wanted to help and make the word a better place, Tony gave a speach about him in front of avengers. The sad thing for me is he actually went to other countries to help and do something for good, to care for other people that you didnt know, he might have a big future ahead but he died instantly. Baron 's family just lived there and refused to evacuate just because they are fighting in the city.
CW is better but I enjoyed more watching Apocalypse ... Donno why ...
I guess because it had that that generic action feel to it where you dont have to care about any characters motivations. The only character that had an arc in this was Magneto. And Xavier to an extent. Its easy going with the plot and is on a larger scale.

My opinion :-
Batman v Superman = The story is too rush, but great action scene as always. They nailed how powerful being should fight.
Civil War = Just...PERFECT! (DO NOT ARGUE WITH THIS)
X-Men Apocalypse = The story was slow a bit, but is not that bad. Action scene failed. Quicksilver and Wolverine scene is the best one.
civil war = too much comedy, especially during fight scenes that should be serious.

Well when they sell it as Civil War and give us Civil squabble I think it's fair to be disappointing. Yes he makes jokes, but this was meant to be a serious fight and it felt like a cartoon. If it was just Him and Antman making jokes, it would have probably been ok, but EVERYBODY was throwing one liners, so there was ZERO tension and it just turned into one big joke. It's cool if that's what you wanted. Not so much when when you expect to get what you pay for.

Apocalypse realizes he can't do it all alone. That's why the four horsemen exist. Plus, I was under the impression that after having them reach their true potential and do his bidding, accomplish his goals, he'd transmute them to get their powers as well.
The Batman analogy with Magneto is spot on! When someone snaps, they are not following rules from that point forward!

yup. i wish though that they did sinister first (xmen sinister) then Apocalypse (en sabuh nur) i also think they should have destroyed the earth with the nuclear bombs but what i think is going to happen is there is going to be a mutant arms race where powerful nations actively hunt mutants to stockpile as soliders /mercs/ WMD. it would be a great starting point to Xforce/Xfactor movies and genosha could be one of the first nations who fast tracked this
I thought the movie wasnt good but wasnt bad. But my favorite part was quicksilver. All of his scenes are great. He needs a movie forreal.

I agree I had so much fun watching X men but Cilvil War I loved a lot with only The final battle
Tyrone, me and my friend loved the movie, and you know what, you said you didn't(?) like X2, so while I was reviewing the movie in my head I was thinking that this movie and X2 had way too many similarities, not in a bad way mind you. But takes this two points:
1) X2: Storm and Jean go recruit Nightcrawler(he's in a church in the rafters)
X:A: Apocalypse and the two Horsegirls recruit Angel and he's in someplace in the rafters.
2) Nightcrawler helps the X-men in Alkali lake: both movies.

My low expectancy for this movie made it better. I was so hyped for Civil War that I could barely feel/understand what was going on in the calm or important moments because I was too excited for the next fight scene. When I watched it a second time it was better because I wasn't as hyped.

X-men Days of Future Past is too Dark and Gloomy yet BVS is just fine? Tyrone is a man of simple or better yet interesting taste when it comes to CBM movies..
I was expecting to have hated it and I tried to look for things but I couldn't. The franchise still has flaws but from a movie goer's perspective and not as an X-men comic fan this was your typical blockbuster action movie and if you're going to fault it for that then you might as well fault the Avengers movies for the same. It was no more sophisticated than Civil War but no less than that Age of Ultron.
I thought the performances from the new cast were all adequate for such a young cast and I would really love to see more of them because they felt like the old hopeful X-men I grew up with. Apocalypse despite what critics said was formidable and epically powerful. Ok they could have probably done more with those powers visually but they might have made him feel too powerful.
Don't get me wrong I would love for the X-men to revert back to marvel because as where we stand this isn't the closest adaptation from the comics we can get and to me this version of the X-men is like what New 52 is to the DC continuity a hot mess of good and bad elements that you just want to fix.
I think this movie was actually the best of the rebooted X-men franchise and bridges this trilogy nicely with the original films prior to the rebooting
I know people will always hate on the franchise because of that, its in our fanboy nature but I have to honestly give credits where credit is due and rate this movie a B-, 8/10 and say just see it for yourself.
I liked how the 4 horsemen did nothing but pose like they were on a Boyz II Men video shoot until about 40-30 minutes before the movie's over....
I really love Tyrone's reviews because he says clearly that what he says it is his opinion !! He is never trying to convince anyone to think as he thinks, that is what a great reviewer should do, give their opinion without trying to make you love or Hate a movie. I almost always agree with Tyrone's opinion about the super heroes movies, this time though I liked more of the X-Men than him, even though I am not mar with him, or hating him by not linking the movie as much as I did because he only gave us his opinion, that is a subject thing. I give 4 out of 5 stars to this movie, and I respect Tyrone's 2,5 score because he gave his subject idea about the movie without trying to say terrible things about the movie, without trying to make us not going to see the movie and not making ourselves form our opinion about the movie. Thumbs up Tyrone !!

thats why i like you and i subscribed. You are honest, you just tell the truth and YOUR opinions. Personally i loved angel/archangel more than in the comics. I just thought he looked cooler and was cool. I also loved Scott too, because like you said, he hasnt shined before but did shined in this movie. Btw, i love his suit at the end

X-Men: Apocalypse was really good. It wasn't as action packed as i expected. But I was fine with it. It took its time to establish new re-establish old characters. The score was incredibly rousing. That Intro was amazing. And that ending. THE VERY END had the theater cheering. It was great. This is probably my third favorite in the series after Days of Future Past and X:Men United.
