True, but in Batman V Superman, the two of them fighting wasn't the only "action". There was the chase scene at the docks, there was the warehouse thing, there was the part with the Chinese girls in the basement, all of which can be considered part of the action.

Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Ant-Man, And Thor childish? No. GOTG is definitely a family movie but even that is not full fledge childish, it had a joke about ejaculation and it was about genocide....
Just because they know how to incorporate fun doesn't mean it's for children. They have their fair share of darkness and fun, just like the comics. They aren't childish just because these characters aren't brooding and the color pallet isn't dark.
Unless you're just stating that you prefer DC, how is the DCEU better than the MCU with only 3 flawed films? I agree that the animated universe goes to DC, though.

At this point Tyrone just reviews movies based on his initial thoughts on it. it could be the best movie of the decade but if he didn't like the trailers he's not gonna like it.

He just wants a fuckload of action. If there is enough action and big explosions, thats enough for Tyrone to like a movie. Thats why he likes movies like Transformers. He does not care about anything other than the visuals and the action.

Saw it this morning. Thoroughly enjoyed it, even more than Civil War. The characters are fun and interesting and Harley and Joker delivered.

J. Baird It's a Suicide Squad movie so no Joker would not and should not be the main focus...
Character development was on point for the characters that needed it. The only ones who had poor development were Katana, Killer Croc and Enchantress' human form along with Rick Flagg...the other guys had enough for their character or were great.
The cast: Viola Davis gave a great performance, Will Smith superb, Maggie was B- performance , Joker is (?) because all of his scenes are cut together and the other actors/actresses did not really have the purpose to have fleshed out roles.
Though that means they should not be in the movie which i will support that argument. I say it is a solid 7.8/10 movie. It would be in the category of Iron Man 2 in terms of quality...as far as humor it is on the level of Thor 2 humor which isn't great at all but it is doable and gets laughs.

I thought the movie was fun. I understand why the characters became bad guys and its a great writing. But the one thing that I don't really like is that Harley and Joker's relationship doesn't really get established that well. other than that, the villains are..meh.. Enchantress is cool but the brother is just a generic MCU type villain like Malekith or something. Overall, 7.5/10 for me. I really liked it a lot and hoping for a sequel soon. Ayer did a great work but the editing is poor in my opinion. They cut a lot of scenes too, which disappoints me.

I didn't say I was confused. It's just that when Harley escaped the Asylum with Joker, they showed a montage of them, should've put some scenes or something. but as I said, I had no problems. I love the movie and wished to see their relationship more :)

I loved the movie. 8 out of 10. Crowd laughed throughout & clapped at the end during my showing. A crowd pleasing fun ride that DC needed after BvS alienated audiences. Characters were far better & developed than anyone in MoS or BvS. The plot was formulaic & some of the editing/pacing was slightly off, but not nearly as bad as the BvS TC.

Atleast BvS has arguably the greatest fight sequence in superhero movie history. Suicide Squad doesn't even have that good action sequences.

***** I really thought the movie was great I mean it was not perfect but I was very entertain by the Suicide Squad and the different personalities classing together throughout the whole film. Also I am so glad to hear that Jared leto parts was cut out and it gave you a little tease of the new Joker which keep us interested in the new Batman movie. But anyways I agree with you about enchantress but i come in with low expectations I knew something was going to fall short just because with all of them main characters and trying to implement backstory and its only a 2 hours film I just knew the plot what's not going to be as amazing. I would still give this movie a 8 out of 10 I thought that the producer did a great job of keeping the characters as close to the comic books as possible. The villains was entertaining and believable it also had the balance of both light-hearted and dark. I was glue to my seat from start to finish.

I could've watched Willshot (Smithshot? Still working that out) shooting targets to Kanye's music for an hour straight. That part was awesome.

Personally I gave the theatrical cut a 6/10.
Also the thing you couldn't put your finger on with what was wrong with the movie is the messy editing and weak villain. 1st two act of this film was great, once we get the enchantress with her brother introduction it fell apart. Still a movie worth seeing in cinema just to see the ensemble. Seeing Smith go full bad guy in his introduction was phenomenal. There's more positives than negatives with this moment, especially when Will Smith's character picks up a gun... You know that. ^_^
I saw the Ayers Cut at a screening in May. It was darker than End of Watch, my nigga. Killa Croc eats a motha fucka.
Hands down.
I hear ya on most points especially the comic movie shake up; DC has been killing it on the comic front where as Marvel just hasn't really been grabbing my attention... (Check out Flash Rebirth)
But we gotta get out of the mentality that the majority vote wins when it comes to art; it's more the dollar bill. But as far as movie preferences go; check out whatever works for you sometimes i get pleasantly surprised by movies deemed terrible. See The Triangle for an example. Bad acting but one of the best storylines I've seen brought to film in years.
Other than that, I'm just glad we live in an era where we can talk about these kinds of movies. 20 years ago these type or films were all mere dreams.

Average movie simple as that. I thought it was slightly better than BvS but still rather boring. Leto's joker was that, a joke (bad). Too much shoehorning and filler. I dont see anything Meta about this SS other than Diablo. Batman could easily whoop most of the SS.

About the logos, Aquaman and Wonder Woman already have their logos on their apparel. P.S. both are old af. Cyborg (according to the dates on the files) was created in 2002. And he is a Cyborg so it makes sence you would put a "C" on his file folder, Flash literally goes in another dimension where the only thing visible is lighting soooooo Lighting Bolt logo was just taken from what he looks like when using the speed force. Lex used similar-looking logos to identify them with.

I may get some flack for this but this honestly was my favorite comic book movie of the summer. I completely acknowledge Civil War and Deadpool are better written and better made films but I was with an audience who was into the movie and it was honestly just a really fun experience. There were flaws, sure, but the acting was great and I like that the Joker was used sparingly. We got an introduction to this Joker but there's still a lot more to explore. I thought Margot Robbie did fantastic as Harley and I actually saw Will Smith as Deadshot and not Will Smith. The two biggest weaknesses are that outside of Deadshot and Harley, the other team members just kind of exist. Like I forgot Slipknot was even a character until now. Also Enchantress is a weakly written villain and needed more development. But I think this movie was so much fun while still feeling like a part of the darker universe DC has created. It's not the most well written or well edited, but I had a lot of fun with it.

I am a fan of the suicide squad comics and the movie is EXACTLY like the comics, so I loved it.
This movie was a disappointment. I think I'd give it a 6 out of 10, and that's being kind. The music was hit or miss for half of the film and I swear they took out chunks of the film. Between Harley waiting on top of a car I feel like something was edited out. WB needs to let directors actually direct without messing with the work. I'm going to bet the extended cut will reveal a ton of great footage.
Tyrone's voice while saying "we're the bad guys, it's what we do" sounded a lot like the voice Wayan brothers used in the movie White Chicks while disguised as women xD

Best way I've found to get rid of fruit flies is get a glass, put cling film/seran rap over the top of said glass and keep it down with a rubber band. Pop pin holes in the cling film/seran wrap. The flies can get in bit can't get out

I loved Harley and Joker. Loved the film. Didnt agree with the critics, maybe so much shouldn't have been cut out but it was nowhere near as bad as people made it out to be. Batman vs superman was boring, suicide squad was actually fun imo

David Ayer has confirmed Joker isn't Jason plus it shows in an easter egg with Harley that she was an accomplice with the Joker killing Robin.
Ayer also confirmed Joker killed Robin and Batman knocked out his teeth, causing Joker to get the "damaged" tattoo.
Waller hinted at knowing who Bruce was as well when telling him, "You should quit working nights."

I’m I the only one who enjoyed the movie I mean it wasn’t the greatest DC movie but it was entertaining. I was intrigued by the joker persona I think every actor fit their roles good actually liked this movie more than batman v superman just my opinion guys rate this film - 8/10
So apparently there is a Robin easter egg in the opening of the film. In the opening when they are giving an intro to each character, Harley Quinn's bio says claims responsibility for murdering Robin.

People seem to forget that the movie wasn't supposed to be perfect in every way. It was supposed to be a rollercoaster ride where the villains finally do something good for once in their very evil lives.
I like this intro a lot better mainly because it has to deal with Superman

Cynthia Addai-Robinson portrayed a better Amanda Waller in Arrow than Viola Davis in my opinion. She was more ruthless, more severe.
She knew he was Batman the moment she said "You should stop working nights."
