Secular state but it should be decided via a democratic way and then implemented so onwards without hesitation. If people of pakistan chose a secular way of governing than system closer to us model should be implemented in which state doesn't dictate what religion to follow and also isn't biased against a certain religion like in china france and post world war 2 turkey. If some one wants to be ultra religious its their choice no one should stop them from practicing their religion but if some one wants to be non religious then it's their choice and they will be answerable for their deeds in the afterlife. If people decide for an islamic state then it should be an truly islamic state in which principle like zakat should be compulsory sociolosim rather than capitalism should be promoted. Since capitalism is anti islamic as you can get. Islam believes in equity and equality capitalism does not it believes in survival of the fitest. Riba which means in excess of anything in Arabic should be discontinued . Most companies have 20 percent profit margin or more that is considered riba weather we like it or not. And this means no loans with interest for any one weather your a normal citizen or the government. You can't have one set rules for the masses while another set of rules for the government. Either way it should be the people's choice what they want by a referendum.its we the people who have to liver our life's not our ancestors so we as a people should decide. And it's kind rich that people with dual nationalities preach islam when they are in pakistan but have taken loans with massive interests in westrens countries to build their wealth.

I believe if pakistan wants to succeed ahead its needs to become secular otherwise no hope.but it has to be by democratic means only. As for an islamic state if people chose that then it should be a truly islamic state which is frankly no country on earth. Islam is fundamentally against capitalism and all forms of capitalism should be halted. Islam has made it compulsory to g8ve zakat which we as acountry do not enforce. And zakat by its very nature is socialisim. Islam believe in taxing un realized gains as in on the worth of a buissness or assets or company rather than on profits or income only. This very notion is anti capitalist. As of now we cherry picked laws that we deem to be islamic to subjugate the masses while our whole government structure is anti islamic. Even our criminal code is un islamic. In islam only fir adultary is there capital punishment. For all other sins you are either give lesser sentence but for that the burden proof is huge and large ammounts of cases wont stand for trial. Or the offenses can be forgiven entirely if the person ask for forgiveness. And one other principle we seem to neglect of islam is the principle of privacy which is is stated in islam as being fundamental.
