Thanks for sharing looking for a new coffee table for my small space and I'm always wanting things to match exactly, so thanks for the description of walnut stained color.

Thank for you for the information! I found a sofa and vintage coffee table I love, but the table might be too short. Do you think I could get away with a 14.5” high table and 19” high sofa?
Hey Tobi, Thank you for reaching out! If you love the vintage coffee table that you just found, and the style of the table compliments the style of the sofa - then go for it. Your home should be filled with things that you love and bring you joy. We hope this helps!
Hey! Thanks for the question. They are both warm in color so yes they go together. As far as trendiness goes, it's much more important that your style reflects you. Surround yourself with things that make you happy. Trends will continue to come and go.
Thanks for reaching out! The height of your coffee table should be approximately 2” lower than your sofa seat height. So, in this case no lower than 15.5”. If you have any more questions or other furniture topics that we can address in an upcoming video please let us know.
@@CircleFurnitureBoston It’s almost impossible to find a 151/2 inch high coffee table…isn’t there a visual trick to make a taller one work. Some kind of decor trick?
@@sherrierichard2848 A glass table top might be the best answer for you. Glass gives the appearance of being unintrusive. This can make the coffee table blend into your living space and not create too much visual noise. Another option would be to get creative. A pallet topped with a piece of glass would be a fun and unique option.
Thank you for watching! There are a few glass coffee tables in this video; the Oculus (the one behind Brian), the Terrace (two levels, top glass with wood) and the Maze (the base looks like a star). There are also a couple other coffee tables that are discontinued since this video was made. All the coffee tables i mentioned can be purchased at Circle Furniture.

Great concise rules, but how do you break them for certain situations-like a really low sofa (171/2 floor to top of sofa cushion)?
