Hsieh is one of the best doubles players hands down in the world. No doubt about it.
Actually I don't see how they pulled this off. I was wondering if Hsieh even held serve once.
@@notsohandytim5090She did! Yes, her serve is her weakest but the placement is good and u can see some players don't return well. It's true her service game is relatively easier to be broken but it's her exceptional net skills, baseline and most importantly her rich "experience" that make her excel in doubles
@@ZachZalewski: Wish I could see the full match. Highlights made her look like the weak link which would not be typical.
@@notsohandytim5090in my opinion, she was carrying her partner, who didn’t do well until the later of the 2nd set.
I’ve seen her in person for singles when she was on her 2018 AO run - the way she hits the ball as to be seen to be believed.
Fun fact about this match: Out of all 4 players, Hsieh is the only one not of Polish descent.
Probably that’s why she could break the Polish curse for the mixed doubles 😂
Happy Zielinski won his first Slam! And Hsieh with another one! ❤
7th Grand Slam of Hsieh
They need to play mixed doubles in all the majors this year!
Yes, Zielinski really wanted this so much as he lost the men's doubles final here last year and the quarterfinal this year and Hsieh hadn't got a mixed GS before
and another one from Hsieh! I hope she plays until her 40’s
Su wei is too good atm! Even with mertens pairing pretty awesome!
We need more extended highlights from Su Wei Hsieh❤ Love watching her play tennis like a magician❤
Best team work ever for first teamup and their first grand slam title. Taiwan/Poland magic!
Nice win. Good match. Congrats Zeilinski and Hsieh. Fun to watch this partner.
Jan is everywhere 😂 and Hsieh is a LEAGEND and Queen for sure 🎉❤
First grand slam title for Jan 🥇
Come on Su-Wei 🏆 ! Good luck for sunday and bring it at home. Can't get enough of your magic skills 😍
Congratulations to Zielinski and Hsieh! You are the best❤❤❤
Love Hsieh + anyone. This was a great pairing and tough match!
It would have been wonderful had both Hsieh and Santoro been playing in the same period of time. The two magicians with two hands on both sides. Talk about entertaining!
As a club level player, I wholeheartedly approve Hsieh’s decision at 5:25 to ignore the open court, and “just try to smash it out the park”
How come? Is it lower risk to smash straight?
That was not a smart one.
Opponent would probably have run to it anyways as the ball was dropping quite slowly
Funny that 3/4 of the final participants have polish names.
Hsieh special player. Her play style needs to be studied.
She plays like my grandma
@@Jacek_Rodos☯️
@@Jacek_RodosI hope your grandma has won 7 doubles grand slams 😂
Go Magician!
Hsieh really loves popping the cherries of her partners’ grand slam cabinets
Zelinski really enjoyed pairing with Hsieh
Love to watch Hsieh. Such a unique style of tennis!
HSIEH IS 38! HOW is she so good!
Zielinski is sooo good and t his final is soooo closeeee
You can see how much the AO officials didn't want Team Zielinski/Hsieh to win. The entire game was a record for points scored by the opposing team, and it turned out to be a win for Team Zielinski/Hsieh.
Best Tandem 🎉🎉🎉🎉 idol Hsieh
wished the crowd was more for this Grand Slam final. I will give the AO credit. In Mixed doubles finals, the crowds are in this order for finals, Wimbledon, Roland Garros, AO then USO in which crowds support the MIxed Doubles matches and finals.
A comeback win is so inspire. It happened in the final. That is more exciting to watch.
Congrats Zeilinski and Hsieh. All the Best.
Zielinski/Hsieh v Skupski/Krawczyk - Some names!!
Hsieh is brilliant!!
I cannot imagine watching it live as supportor of either side, the drama is too too much to handle, ups and downs and up and downs, and wow....
Hsieh and anybody! 💪
Hsieh: what a bloody legend!
It was excellent team 💕❤️❤️🍀🏆
so happy for them
Graty Janek i partnerka ❤🎉
what a thriller!
Mega🎉🎉🎉
Since when mixed doubles get this tense?
Hsieh is amazing.
Congrats!!! 🇹🇼
happy to see 3 Poles in one tennis match
More entertaining than the woman's final.
100%
Congrat !!! BTC : by family names like three Poles on the court (3 Men by PL grammar) ;o)
It should be 2.5 in fact, Krawczyk is of half Polish and half Filipino descent but it's interesting that they all are of different nationalities
Curious to know why every polish man’s last name ends in Ski? What does ski mean ?
it just means it's an adjective, these surnames are usually derived from occupation, personal characteristics or like a place of birth. female version is ska, the same thing. for this guy it's hard to say, most likely his ancestors lived in town called Zieliniec or somethinh like that. or maybe they just liked the colour green (zielen)
It is adjective and in past it was mostly added in nobel names.
But with time it became more Polish trades not just nobels.
Like speaking on Mr and Mrs on dayly basis is also tradition from our nobels with now is integrated to all society. If you will speak to Poles You we will be offended.
Not every - Hurkacz, Janowicz 🤪 and many more
Hsieh is the best
Zielinski made Hsieh's job more difficult on some of those shots...
And he also saved them on a lot of points. I watched their last 3 matches and they were truly a team.
@fearsomebunny why this comment? you are a very negative and poisonous person, this is a team game in one shot she saved them in another he was the one who saved it. Stop trolling.
@@chris-kh5lw Just what I saw but you are right, I should not trust my eyes. IMPO, Zielinski unnecessarily went at Skupski a few times. Skupski saw it coming from miles away. Not a smart move IMHO.
@@fearsomebunnyThat same move was what drew the error from Skupski and won them the match.
@fearsomebunny and you are still criticizing instead of congratulating them for winning the title playing for the first time as a team.
JANEK!
BIASED HIGHLIGHT, HOW CAN U SHOW MORE POINTS THAT WON BY SKUPSKI AND DESIRAE , U JUST DONT GIVE ENOUGH CREDIT TO THE ACTUAL WINNER JAN AND HSIEH.
it shows how they comeback
for a gs final, low quality tennis
Was in women's final
At 5:25ish, no way that ball hit her racket! Bounces off her shoes and they just kept playing!
new tennis fan? she knew she couldnt hit it so she gave up, but her partner ran to the back of the court and was able to hit it before the second bounce.
Bounced over her head, in fact.
what are you talking about ? the ball didn't touch her or her racket AT ALL lmao
Hsieh is good, Chinese players are hardworking, like in snooker.
Hsieh is Taiwanese player, not Chinese player.
Hsieh is Taiwanese, NOT chinese.
Haha, same same, Taiwan Thailand 😂
@@tosuchino6465no Taiwan, there is only a dead republic of China, look at your passport if you don’t know it😂
@@selfissimo
Your passport is NOT the only thing that tells you about your cultural origin. And certainly the ccp did not support or coached her to be such a unique player.
Three polish vs one Chinese, lol😂
@@selfissimoHsieh is not a Chinese. She is a Taiwanese and Taiwan is not part of China.
@@selfissimoracist much
