Using the pin system in conjunction with the mini map is the most beneficial thing you can use for now. I've had the world boss notification twice the whole time the game has been out and I was standing in town. I think devs think if you're in a dungeon you don't want to be bothered by a middle of the screen pop up.
Exceptional video, GGM. Thorough as always. I'm sure if you wanted you could tack on another 30 minutes to this video. My personal opinion is that the D4 team cut a lot of corners, just like they did in D3. So far the game isn't meeting expectations, just like D3. They can change it, though, if they listen and implement the feedback. There are some fundamental designs in the loot system that I fear won't be changed, though. They might fix some of the bugs, but I don't see them going beyond that. Monster scaling is another example of a core game design flaw. I'm not a game developer, designer, and/or producer, but from my experience it seems like they went that direction to save a lot of time, money, creativity, and discussion.
Good points made here, noticed a few of them myself but the thing that surprised me is that the horse is actually slower outside as well with 3xevade I can outpace it often because the damn horse gets stuck on every little grain of sand that pops in the way, VERY annoying...
THe only thing ive got a problem with, with this list, is the dungeon exp stuff, I dont want to be forced to sit hip locked to my friends or randoms to get drops or exp, expecially when alot of the dungeon layouts/objectives straight up punishes you for doing so, Just something that has to be in the game untill they either completely fix dungeon layouts or delete pretty much all objectives. Good list overall.
I've only just hit 50, so I haven't experienced a NM dungeon. I have to say, from the way you describe it, I have no desire to ever set foot in one. I want to have relax and play, and not have to be on full alert all the time.
It literally tells you when you click on the sigil whether or not it has one of these stupid mechanics. I just insta delete them from inventory unless it’s the only version of a high tier map I have.
There's plenty of sigils that have simple affixes like "periodically spawn portals that summon monsters, all elites have x enchantment, etc." That don't involve things that kill you if you stand still so just run those and not the annoying ones.
Love your content. You hit a lot of things right on the head. I hope they listening If the renoun was 1/2 the requirement it wouldn't be too bad. I am not liking the map needing to be re-explored again tho. Once I've done it, I've done it.
I’ve had a surprisingly fun time hunting for perfect rares while leveling. Finding the best crossbow for my twisting blades rogue was actually super satisfying, getting the perfect high roll affixes
Yes this Wall Battle is the problem I had too and the map issues too. Is two of my biggest... Man you are talking on ally problems. I hope someone from Blizzards is taking notes of these QoL issues that need addressing.
Some very frustrating things for sure. Just off the top of my head: - No overlay map has made me miss important things happening on the screen because I am looking at the top-right of the screen and it takes away from the immersion in a huge way. - No option to turn off players' names and health bars. Immersion is gone when you walk into town or meet another player. - The camera sucks big time. Why won't it let us zoom out? We know for a fact that it can do it, because it does it on its own in certain places such as entering/exiting a city. - The stash & inventory are awful. Every item being the same size is so lazy of a design choice and so stupid. - No stash for every character. I don't think I need to explain that this is idiotic for a game with so many build options for every class. - Online-only. Doesn't need explaining. It's stupid and annoying. That includes not being able to log out instantly. - The linking an item bug, preventing linking of items. Annoying and it happens constantly. - Abilities not working but the key input registering. This one nearly killed me once and has killed Hardcore players on stream. - Cross-play disable does not work. - Extremely loud sound - The guy with the apple and knife who stabs the priest looks unfinished and retarded. - Absolutely no visible difference with High-Resolution Assets enabled. - Broken overpowered builds that should have been caught in early Beta, but the public Beta-testing was only a few days and only until level 25 so completely worthless. - Useless spam messages of the Challenges achieved by Clan-members. Incredibly annoying and you can't even notice an actual message from someone because of it. - Very difficult to form a Party, having to go through multiple screens to get invited or invite someone unless you are standing on top of them. - Extreme lag-spikes when joining a Party and entering Boss-areas inside and outside Dungeons - this killed me when I entered the final-boss room in a dungeon. Tons of rubber-banding because of lag-spikes. - Idiotic unique itemization. Why do we need to find the same unique over a dozen times and no other unique in between? It's stupid. - Non-tradable items. It sucks when you're playing with a friend and they find a unique they don't need or can even use but you do and can. That's not fun at all. It bums everybody out. - No option to rewatch cutscenes. - Only one CGI-cutscene in the entire game. We know for a fact that Blizzard CGI team is the best in the business and they only got to make one cutscene in the entire game?! So disappointing! - End-game feels extremely lacking. In fact, the game feels very lacking after completing the campaign. I want to fight Andariel, Duriel etc. again on higher difficulties. Farm them for unique items etc. Spamming dungeons, events and World Bosses got me bored within days. - Having to rely on some nice person to make a website to find out when and where a World Boss or Event will be sucks! - Legion events are so easily missed because they have timers of less than 10 minutes before they begin. I bet there are tons of players who never even did one because of that. - Scaling of monsters and drops sucks! - The UI in general looks like it was designed by an 8-year old. It sucks so much. - Combat message spam takes away from immersion and is annoying. - Classes not being able to use items they could use in previous Diablo games makes no sense and limits potential for more fun builds. - The mount experience is not fun. Why does it slow down when I run south? Even when pressing the sprint button. Why does it slow down to a halt when there's a tiny obstacle? Why is there such a long cooldown after dismounting, except for in town? It makes no sense and it's designed very poorly. - It sucks that some classes can't gamble for items they might want to use for their build, like a Necromancer can't gamble for a 2H-sword. Why? It makes no sense at all. - Why can't a Sorcerer use swords like they could in D3 and D2? It makes absolutely no sense. - Not being able to create a game with a name and description for people to join with a similar purpose to party up sucks! Why was this left out?
I got to fight Astaroth twice accidentally because I left to join a Legion event nearby right after I killed him, so the quest reverted back to before he was dead. It excited me and I was sad when it was over again.
100% agreed sir, I'll add .. insane CC against charters is really frustrating and breaks immersion ... I'll killing these huge demons and a small little spider web immobilizes me or FLY swarm slows me.. not once not twice but 3 times and then a monster spawns directly on top of me with the HUGE fire effect and DEAD.. Spider webs and Fly swarm against a all powerful Sorc is DUMB and breaks the immersion for me. Also the enchanting cost is INSANE... I have one item that is currently costing me 4 Million+ to reroll a stat.. I'm level 90 Sorc and I've not found anything good enough to replace it so I'm stuck rerolling it. I'm not a fan of the affix's in NM dungeons . I scrap 90% of the sigils because the game play affix's are just frustrating AND I get ZERO benefit as a cold sorc for .. You do more fire damage.. and here's 4 negatives for you too... I'm getting to the point with this game that I'm not having fun anymore and I'm about bored of these frustrating mechanics..
You can click on the bubble or the quest to make it active, however it is annoying sometimes when the description is part of the hint to completing a quest.
30:00 it's not a sacred-item specific problem, all level requirements should be tied to the item power of the item, period. It's just as much of a problem with ancestral items.
Sacred is meant to last u til 70 to beat the hard as hell capstone dungoun getting one shot in early 60s.They force you to litteraly do the nm dungeons to get more levels and upgrade your paragon bonus sockets and also to get flawless jewels which only drop in the higher dungeons, to help survive the capstone.Pretty much agree with all your points though.I was doing level 19 dungoun at 62 and it can get rough but no where near the capstone even with the annoying fire traps following you .
Flawless drops once you hit 60 and also when you can craft them easy. And you are probably better off doing helltides and targeting slots, specifically weapons, to get sacreds. That's at least how it worked out for me and the sacred/ancestral upgrade mats drop only in helltides to I was also able to max my upgrades
Besides inventory QoL features there are several very strange and dumb things for me that not mentioned in this video: 1. You don't get XP from monsters in this special rooms with levers between parts of NM. Just why, Blizzard? It's awful feeling when I killing monsters and understand that I will get NOTHING from it. What's the point? 2. Materials recraft. I almost at max capacity with Rawhide. Firstly I thought go to Alchemist and recraft 5k Rawhide into 1k t2 leather. And then I found out that you can't make more than 20 crafts simultaneously. WHY?
The renown bonuses will stay forever as long as you do them once! But i suspect that we have to do it again for the season journey, but not for the bonuses. Ehm there are not that much more uniques in the loot pool. I found every unique that drops for barberian more then 20 times allready, except the really good ones. But i'm Level 100 so i grinded a lot. Sometimes there are even 4 uniques in one dungeon! They are absolutely not unique, that is fore sure.
On the topic of ground effects: I haven't personally experienced the specific issue of standing outside of an effect and getting hit by it, but there is a pretty common thing that would happen in D3 and does happen in D4 where like... you see the ground effect, your character is in the ground effect, you go to run out of the ground effect, and then your character, due to server lag, is still in the effect and gets hit by it. If that's what you're referring to- That really sucks and it's 100% a client/server latency thing. It was more jarring in D3 because like... the only way for your character to get frozen in that game was if you stood in a specific ground effect when it went off so your character would be running, he'd make it out of the zone, and then he'd get frozen and rubberband back to the spot where the server thought you were when the effect went off.
I'm glad to hear that someone else agrees that the game difficulties aren't balanced as they were in Diablo 3. I enjoyed becoming over powered and controlling home much I wished to be challenged. Until hearing your take on this it seemed that players were cool with being being underpowered and being killed by a single blow. As for the issue with the ground effects and all of the enemy powers seem to be over powered and wipe you out in seconds. Perhaps a better audible sound other than a slow heartbeat would help players maintain their health before dying several times in a row due to not being aware that the enemies are dumping all kind of effects on the ground and surrounding area. I also would like to be able to equip multiple loadouts and have the opportunity to obtain enough skill points to fill in every move on both the skill tree and paragon board.
Sacred items unlock in world tier 3. So they are useful at a minimum from level 50-70 at which point world tier 4 unlocks therefore unlocking ancestrals, and at that point sacreds are useless. In a perfect world where people get to t3 at 50 and enter t4 at 70
none of that addresses the issue that when a level 100 character finds a sacred item it's stuck at lvl 100 requirement. If i find a sacred item as a high level I should be able to give it to a low level plain and simple.
I think by the time you get the horse you already have like 35% increased speed between your boots and amulets.. and this bonus doesn't seem to affect the horse speed. This is one reason it's painful to ride the horse.. especially in town where you don't have a space bar.
Gonna run through the first 3 as I haven't played I and II since they originally released and I've never played 3. Hopefully by that time some of these issues will have been mitigated.
i made a summon necro with shadow damge and i just got tier 4 yesterday and my minion are realing good but they need to buff them because using my paragon board mainly focuse on cult leader board and they okay but against certian elite they get destoryed also using iron maiden with as well
My guess is, is it for a full minion mancer you pretty much have to use army of the Dead to resurrect them all the time. Basically just spam army of the dead which would constantly resurrect them. Probably going with some cool down reduction
if they wont give an overlay i think we should have a companion or sphere that will show you to your destination so i dont have to keep looking at the minimap
They have so many minor issues that I can't justify calling it a great game. It's just an average game with a AAA budget. It definitely can be a great game, but not right now. The classes, and especially character progression needs work. The world design, and questing needs work. The HUD, and other QOL changes definitely needs work. The dungeons need work, espcially the diversity of objectives in them -- or just get rid of the objectives and make it a clear everything, or kill the boss. Everything feels aggressively average in design, but thanks to the AAA budget, it looks better. I don't know, I got to 74 as a Necromancer clearing around 25-30 nightmare dungeons and I have no inclination to get back on.

Also seen you also swap over to blue gems in armor, I tried those in my armors and I felt I wasn't getting cc'd enough before a 1 shot to make that viable.. Maybe with the barrier pants it would help but i got my doubts XD Sorry it was Topaz I tried, I cant get fortified enough to make use of the fort gems... How are you getting fortified? I'm bonespear but with minions so i feel fort is just hard to achieve.. Plus I have a scythe, so the life on kill pretty much cucks it XD
There is a passive called necrotic Carapace use that. It gives you 6% fortify for every corpse created by you or your minions. Then use the reapers with the 15% corpse chance and the golem that spawns corpses too. Between that and your kills you will always be at max fortify
@@GGMentor Yea I used that stuff and reapers too, but with life on kill it would cuck it. How fortify works you need MORE fortified HP then your current. It felt I was getting fortified enough from those talents/reapers but life on kill. Really need to find a good sword then XD And drop the pants and go back to my old ones. Try fortify with that. @@GGMentor I wasn't able to get fortified enough XD but I 'll try golem too and see if that's adds a bit more. Got the Spawn corpse talent too OFC dw. I tried a while ago so maybe its different now? I just didn't think golem would spawn that many corpses is all.
I like it enough and see enough potential that I want things made better. I'd like to see a toggle for level scaling. I'd prefer "classic" mode that doesn't have level scaling. We need a ton of UI customization and improvements. Everything.
@GGMentor Trading mats would be awesome. They did allow it in D3 on consoles after all but never implemented for D3 on PC so I know its something they have thought about. Maybe it could be added in the future but only if they knew it couldn't be duped or exploited in any way,
I think it was smart for devs to sacrifice quality of life to focus on gameplay. I have no doubt they will be spending the next 2-3 seasons shipping great quality of life features.
I find D4 quite expensive in my currency for the game it appears to be (a Diablo 3 Revamped), so I made the decision not to buy it upon release as I've done with all the past Diablo games. Perhaps this time I won't buy it at all, considering i regretted buying and playing D3 for serveral hours. I think the franchise became something completely different since the release of Diablo 3, and the release of D4 as it is indicates that they are not planning on getting back to the same direction as D1 and D2 were going.
This is not Diablo 3 Revamped, your fooling yourself with a comment like that. I hated diablo 3, I still do, Diablo 4 is not Diablo 3 nor is it Diablo 3.5 nor Diablo 3 revamped. Anyone saying that probably hasn't really played the game or given it more than a passing look. Diablo 4 makes Diablo 3 look like piece of trash you would find in the garbage by comparison.

I will accidentally bring up my emote wheel mid combat and its terrifying. Is there a setting where the wheel can be disabled while 'in combat'? If not please add one.
Items and skills are my biggest issues. I don't like the aspect system much. I feel aspects should have been skills further down the tree paths. Also uniques are pretty meh
Why can't I teleport to people in my group? Well you can from the main cities, why can't I do that from all waypoints? Why can't I right click my team mate and just teleport? What would make that game breaking? So extremely frustrating having to teleport to a major city just to be able to teleport to someone in my group. And don't get me started on the horse... Why are there so few waypoints? Would it hurt to have a waypoint in each stronghold for instance? A place with a waypoint would make sense to defend, aka placing a stronghold there. The group out of sync issue is weird and very annoying. The not being able to link stuff, for some reason... Just why? Crossplay, can you even turn it off? I disabled it in the options but I still get the notification that I'm using crossplay. What's up with that? Oh and why oh why is enchanting so extremely expensive? First one is usually reasonable but the price after that is just a badly disguised attempt at a cash sink. At this point I'm trying it once and if I don't get the stat I'm looking for I scrap the item. Since this can only be done on one of the stats on an item, then wouldn't it make sense to keep the price more reasonable so we can at least get a sense of having any sort of control of what we wear instead of everything being down to drop rng?
I will keep watching and continue to pick up the unique fire ball glove for the 13th time. I literally have not found any other uniques other than the fucking glove. I don’t even use fire.
Obols would be botted to death if they were tradable. They are exchangeable for gear of all levels and classes. It would be absolute insanity for them to be tradable.
This mirrors my complaints with the game and i have a lot more on top of those. In the end, i find the game incredibly flawed and unsatisfying and just went back to Last Epoch for now. That you played so many hours boggles the mind, you are stronger mentally than I am, at level 70 my brain just gave up
The duriel fight and visibility was by design. That's how the fight was in d2. But I do think they didn't need to do that for d4. And i dunno why the world boss doesnt pop up on the mini map like legion events. The trch is already there

So this is one of two videos, this is The Bad I reccomend you check out The Good as it's companion. Also the Devs have promised to fix a lot of this stuff so we will see. most of them are as I said quality of life issues.
if you read the forums and user reviews it seems nearly everyone quit the game due to all the issues including: terrible drops, terrible feeling skills, terrible mob density, terrible mechanics, terrible quests, no end-game, etc
@@joyl7842 Explain to me what's the point of going to level 100 in this game? When seasons come out there's even less of a reason. Couple that with really bad drops and the grind isn't worth it at all. There's a reason why people are actively trying to power-level because grinding normally is boring as fuck.

After playing since pre launch, i can say the game Kinda SUCKS Dick ! - Camera Closeness is garbage, mini-map sucks, finding required Affixes that are only on gear is a fucking pain in the ass. I went from level 46 and am at level 63 WITHOUT a single item getting changed out as i cannot find the affix, or the legendary i found is fucking Garbage and not worth wasting the ONE affix ive found in 20 hours of play. And dont get me started on the mob density, i love playing a melee character that has to run to every single mob one by one, these slay all monster dungeons are the fucking demise of existance.

You can say whatever you want about Diablo 3, but it did have great quality of life aspects. The minimap is pretty good and you have an overlay map.
if you go into the map and click directly on a blue circle, that will track the quest which belongs to that circle.

That being said other peoples pins don't show on the minimap only yours. unless you are within range to see the actual pin.
@@GGMentorThat's true, they show on the full map but no mini icon on minimap. The only thing you can do there is stack your pin on theirs

you can avoid the full alert mechanics, my comment is literally just that the "Full Alert Mechanics" are basically garbage

Hunting rares is one of my favorite things so far, only beaten out by theorycrafting.

- Extreme lag-spikes when joining a Party and entering Boss-areas inside and outside Dungeons - this killed me when I entered the final-boss room in a dungeon. Tons of rubber-banding because of lag-spikes.
- Idiotic unique itemization. Why do we need to find the same unique over a dozen times and no other unique in between? It's stupid.
- Non-tradable items. It sucks when you're playing with a friend and they find a unique they don't need or can even use but you do and can. That's not fun at all. It bums everybody out.
- No option to rewatch cutscenes.
- Only one CGI-cutscene in the entire game. We know for a fact that Blizzard CGI team is the best in the business and they only got to make one cutscene in the entire game?! So disappointing!
- End-game feels extremely lacking. In fact, the game feels very lacking after completing the campaign. I want to fight Andariel, Duriel etc. again on higher difficulties. Farm them for unique items etc. Spamming dungeons, events and World Bosses got me bored within days.
- Having to rely on some nice person to make a website to find out when and where a World Boss or Event will be sucks!
- Legion events are so easily missed because they have timers of less than 10 minutes before they begin. I bet there are tons of players who never even did one because of that.
- Scaling of monsters and drops sucks!
- The UI in general looks like it was designed by an 8-year old. It sucks so much.
- Combat message spam takes away from immersion and is annoying.
- Classes not being able to use items they could use in previous Diablo games makes no sense and limits potential for more fun builds.
- The mount experience is not fun. Why does it slow down when I run south? Even when pressing the sprint button. Why does it slow down to a halt when there's a tiny obstacle? Why is there such a long cooldown after dismounting, except for in town? It makes no sense and it's designed very poorly.
- It sucks that some classes can't gamble for items they might want to use for their build, like a Necromancer can't gamble for a 2H-sword. Why? It makes no sense at all.
- Why can't a Sorcerer use swords like they could in D3 and D2? It makes absolutely no sense.
- Not being able to create a game with a name and description for people to join with a similar purpose to party up sucks! Why was this left out?
I got to fight Astaroth twice accidentally because I left to join a Legion event nearby right after I killed him, so the quest reverted back to before he was dead. It excited me and I was sad when it was over again.
I feel like adding more difficult areas and more uniques would add a lot once you get into tier 4
The problem is monsters and items scale with your level. This is a huge bummer if you ask me.
100% agreed sir, I'll add .. insane CC against charters is really frustrating and breaks immersion ... I'll killing these huge demons and a small little spider web immobilizes me or FLY swarm slows me.. not once not twice but 3 times and then a monster spawns directly on top of me with the HUGE fire effect and DEAD.. Spider webs and Fly swarm against a all powerful Sorc is DUMB and breaks the immersion for me.
Also the enchanting cost is INSANE... I have one item that is currently costing me 4 Million+ to reroll a stat.. I'm level 90 Sorc and I've not found anything good enough to replace it so I'm stuck rerolling it.
I'm not a fan of the affix's in NM dungeons . I scrap 90% of the sigils because the game play affix's are just frustrating AND I get ZERO benefit as a cold sorc for .. You do more fire damage.. and here's 4 negatives for you too...
I'm getting to the point with this game that I'm not having fun anymore and I'm about bored of these frustrating mechanics..
You can click on the bubble or the quest to make it active, however it is annoying sometimes when the description is part of the hint to completing a quest.
30:00 it's not a sacred-item specific problem, all level requirements should be tied to the item power of the item, period. It's just as much of a problem with ancestral items.
Yes it is an issue with ancestral items, but not as much as it is with sacred.
Sacred is meant to last u til 70 to beat the hard as hell capstone dungoun getting one shot in early 60s.They force you to litteraly do the nm dungeons to get more levels and upgrade your paragon bonus sockets and also to get flawless jewels which only drop in the higher dungeons, to help survive the capstone.Pretty much agree with all your points though.I was doing level 19 dungoun at 62 and it can get rough but no where near the capstone even with the annoying fire traps following you .
Flawless drops once you hit 60 and also when you can craft them easy. And you are probably better off doing helltides and targeting slots, specifically weapons, to get sacreds. That's at least how it worked out for me and the sacred/ancestral upgrade mats drop only in helltides to I was also able to max my upgrades
Besides inventory QoL features there are several very strange and dumb things for me that not mentioned in this video:
1. You don't get XP from monsters in this special rooms with levers between parts of NM. Just why, Blizzard? It's awful feeling when I killing monsters and understand that I will get NOTHING from it. What's the point?
2. Materials recraft. I almost at max capacity with Rawhide. Firstly I thought go to Alchemist and recraft 5k Rawhide into 1k t2 leather. And then I found out that you can't make more than 20 crafts simultaneously. WHY?
The renown bonuses will stay forever as long as you do them once! But i suspect that we have to do it again for the season journey, but not for the bonuses. Ehm there are not that much more uniques in the loot pool. I found every unique that drops for barberian more then 20 times allready, except the really good ones. But i'm Level 100 so i grinded a lot. Sometimes there are even 4 uniques in one dungeon! They are absolutely not unique, that is fore sure.
On the topic of ground effects:
I haven't personally experienced the specific issue of standing outside of an effect and getting hit by it, but there is a pretty common thing that would happen in D3 and does happen in D4 where like... you see the ground effect, your character is in the ground effect, you go to run out of the ground effect, and then your character, due to server lag, is still in the effect and gets hit by it.
If that's what you're referring to- That really sucks and it's 100% a client/server latency thing. It was more jarring in D3 because like... the only way for your character to get frozen in that game was if you stood in a specific ground effect when it went off so your character would be running, he'd make it out of the zone, and then he'd get frozen and rubberband back to the spot where the server thought you were when the effect went off.
I'm glad to hear that someone else agrees that the game difficulties aren't balanced as they were in Diablo 3. I enjoyed becoming over powered and controlling home much I wished to be challenged. Until hearing your take on this it seemed that players were cool with being being underpowered and being killed by a single blow. As for the issue with the ground effects and all of the enemy powers seem to be over powered and wipe you out in seconds. Perhaps a better audible sound other than a slow heartbeat would help players maintain their health before dying several times in a row due to not being aware that the enemies are dumping all kind of effects on the ground and surrounding area. I also would like to be able to equip multiple loadouts and have the opportunity to obtain enough skill points to fill in every move on both the skill tree and paragon board.

Sacred items unlock in world tier 3. So they are useful at a minimum from level 50-70 at which point world tier 4 unlocks therefore unlocking ancestrals, and at that point sacreds are useless. In a perfect world where people get to t3 at 50 and enter t4 at 70
none of that addresses the issue that when a level 100 character finds a sacred item it's stuck at lvl 100 requirement.
If i find a sacred item as a high level I should be able to give it to a low level plain and simple.

I think by the time you get the horse you already have like 35% increased speed between your boots and amulets.. and this bonus doesn't seem to affect the horse speed. This is one reason it's painful to ride the horse.. especially in town where you don't have a space bar.
Gonna run through the first 3 as I haven't played I and II since they originally released and I've never played 3. Hopefully by that time some of these issues will have been mitigated.
i made a summon necro with shadow damge and i just got tier 4 yesterday and my minion are realing good but they need to buff them because using my paragon board mainly focuse on cult leader board and they okay but against certian elite they get destoryed also using iron maiden with as well
My guess is, is it for a full minion mancer you pretty much have to use army of the Dead to resurrect them all the time. Basically just spam army of the dead which would constantly resurrect them. Probably going with some cool down reduction

They have so many minor issues that I can't justify calling it a great game. It's just an average game with a AAA budget. It definitely can be a great game, but not right now. The classes, and especially character progression needs work. The world design, and questing needs work. The HUD, and other QOL changes definitely needs work. The dungeons need work, espcially the diversity of objectives in them -- or just get rid of the objectives and make it a clear everything, or kill the boss. Everything feels aggressively average in design, but thanks to the AAA budget, it looks better. I don't know, I got to 74 as a Necromancer clearing around 25-30 nightmare dungeons and I have no inclination to get back on.

Also seen you also swap over to blue gems in armor, I tried those in my armors and I felt I wasn't getting cc'd enough before a 1 shot to make that viable.. Maybe with the barrier pants it would help but i got my doubts XD
Sorry it was Topaz I tried, I cant get fortified enough to make use of the fort gems... How are you getting fortified? I'm bonespear but with minions so i feel fort is just hard to achieve.. Plus I have a scythe, so the life on kill pretty much cucks it XD
There is a passive called necrotic Carapace use that. It gives you 6% fortify for every corpse created by you or your minions.
Then use the reapers with the 15% corpse chance and the golem that spawns corpses too.
Between that and your kills you will always be at max fortify
@@GGMentor Yea I used that stuff and reapers too, but with life on kill it would cuck it. How fortify works you need MORE fortified HP then your current.
It felt I was getting fortified enough from those talents/reapers but life on kill.
Really need to find a good sword then XD And drop the pants and go back to my old ones. Try fortify with that.

Can’t trade crafting mats because d3 on console had duplication glitches with mat trading
but most of the mats are essentially useless anyway so why prevent me from giving my friend what is essentially pennies
@GGMentor Trading mats would be awesome. They did allow it in D3 on consoles after all but never implemented for D3 on PC so I know its something they have thought about. Maybe it could be added in the future but only if they knew it couldn't be duped or exploited in any way,

I think it was smart for devs to sacrifice quality of life to focus on gameplay. I have no doubt they will be spending the next 2-3 seasons shipping great quality of life features.
I find D4 quite expensive in my currency for the game it appears to be (a Diablo 3 Revamped), so I made the decision not to buy it upon release as I've done with all the past Diablo games. Perhaps this time I won't buy it at all, considering i regretted buying and playing D3 for serveral hours. I think the franchise became something completely different since the release of Diablo 3, and the release of D4 as it is indicates that they are not planning on getting back to the same direction as D1 and D2 were going.

I hated diablo 3, I still do, Diablo 4 is not Diablo 3 nor is it Diablo 3.5 nor Diablo 3 revamped.

I will accidentally bring up my emote wheel mid combat and its terrifying. Is there a setting where the wheel can be disabled while 'in combat'? If not please add one.

I don't like the aspect system much. I feel aspects should have been skills further down the tree paths.

Why can't I teleport to people in my group? Well you can from the main cities, why can't I do that from all waypoints? Why can't I right click my team mate and just teleport? What would make that game breaking?
So extremely frustrating having to teleport to a major city just to be able to teleport to someone in my group.
And don't get me started on the horse...
Why are there so few waypoints? Would it hurt to have a waypoint in each stronghold for instance? A place with a waypoint would make sense to defend, aka placing a stronghold there.
The group out of sync issue is weird and very annoying.

First one is usually reasonable but the price after that is just a badly disguised attempt at a cash sink.
At this point I'm trying it once and if I don't get the stat I'm looking for I scrap the item. Since this can only be done on one of the stats on an item, then wouldn't it make sense to keep the price more reasonable so we can at least get a sense of having any sort of control of what we wear instead of everything being down to drop rng?

Obols would be botted to death if they were tradable. They are exchangeable for gear of all levels and classes. It would be absolute insanity for them to be tradable.

This mirrors my complaints with the game and i have a lot more on top of those. In the end, i find the game incredibly flawed and unsatisfying and just went back to Last Epoch for now.

I have been a customer of Blizzard, since Diablo 1. This is to be expected.
The duriel fight and visibility was by design. That's how the fight was in d2. But I do think they didn't need to do that for d4. And i dunno why the world boss doesnt pop up on the mini map like legion events. The trch is already there
there were no visibility issues on the D2 Duriel fight
Every char needs their own tab, then they need to move the map and aspect system out of the inventory.
I'd like to see it be able to put the full map on a second monitor. Enough of this tired map screen switching in 2023
I came back to D2R after 2-days playing of this game. D2R is way better and more enjoyable than D4 for sure.
After the server slam and beta of D IV, I'm having way more fun in D2R as well.

The foundation is strong. Let's just say that. Yes there's a lot of issues but with a super strong foundation. You can do a lot of things
if you read the forums and user reviews it seems nearly everyone quit the game due to all the issues including: terrible drops, terrible feeling skills, terrible mob density, terrible mechanics, terrible quests, no end-game, etc
It has issues in all of those areas but it has a lot of good things in all of those areas as well.
@@joyl7842 Explain to me what's the point of going to level 100 in this game? When seasons come out there's even less of a reason. Couple that with really bad drops and the grind isn't worth it at all. There's a reason why people are actively trying to power-level because grinding normally is boring as fuck.

I stopped actively leveling at 72. There's no point for me because I don't care about those two points.

After playing since pre launch, i can say the game Kinda SUCKS Dick ! - Camera Closeness is garbage, mini-map sucks, finding required Affixes that are only on gear is a fucking pain in the ass. I went from level 46 and am at level 63 WITHOUT a single item getting changed out as i cannot find the affix, or the legendary i found is fucking Garbage and not worth wasting the ONE affix ive found in 20 hours of play. And dont get me started on the mob density, i love playing a melee character that has to run to every single mob one by one, these slay all monster dungeons are the fucking demise of existance.
