As someone who works in GI, you would be surprised how many people don’t complete the prep and come anyway, it is vitally important to “be clear” from the prep, otherwise the procedure has to be repeated…and nobody wants that!
The physician would go broke if people just didn't show for their appointment. Clear is the best but sometimes that doesn't happen, and the patient doesn't know it.
I had a colonoscopy on Thursday and today is Monday I still have a little blood when I poop I had 4 polopys removed is this normal just worried thank you

I’m 63 only had one colonoscopy I’m 63 years old it’s been twelve years ago is it time for my second one
It is usually recommended every ten years, or sooner if polyps were removed during your last colonoscopy. Definitely check with your provider!
