I am going tomorrow. I am excited to get this over and done. It's been on my list of things that my GP says needs to be checked off since I turned 50. After this I will find a good urologist and check that exam off too. I know it is uncomfortable but so is dying so Don't let the awkwardness of it all disued you. Get it done
@terrancelee5817 and just as a follow up the procedure was a breeze. Zero embarrassment. The specialist who do this are completely desensitized to it. 30 min and done recovery is just a few hours.
They found a small polyp, and it was benign. The procedure was a breeze and I am so glad I did it. I have to go back in five years but I’m definitely taking this as a sign to do health checks and screenings more often.
I haven’t had a colonoscopy since I had a colon resection 23 years ago because I’m scared to death they will perforate my colon since I’m missing about 9” of it and it’s hooked up differently than everyone else’s, I just can’t take that chance!
I’m 35 and bi have this procedure coming up bc they found at my previous appointment that I hv diverticulitis and want to further check me out. I’m super nervous bc I have done this before. I’m so so so nervous.
Having one in 33 days. My concerns are what’s going to happen to me while I’m under anesthesia. Since I have no control over what’s done to me. Because anything can happen while you’re out.
1 more good reason to never have one I could imagine all the female nurses standing around giggling. There should be a Claus on who's allowed in the room.
I have what is known as redundant colon. I have heard that the scope used for colonoscopy is not long enough to scope a person’s colon for someone who has redundant colon. Should I sign up for both a colonoscopy and a CT scan.
I don't know how you even got it that far. Although this wouldn't bother me. Not that Id ever get one. It's the whole audience thing during. I don't need w9men or anyone standing there while Im being violated.
This is true, they asked my wife to have one in hospital, she’s had one a couple of years ago without any sedation and vowed never again, she told them she wouldn’t have the procedure without being knocked out, they refused point blank and so did she to the procedure, they warned her of the consequences of NOT having it and her reply was I’ll take my chance and that was that.
Im fucking 20 and they said i need one of those cameras up my ass. I just hope they don't find anything...rolling around naked, kinda calls for a womans touch don't you think?
I thought my body would never be the same again, but you fixed it. My heartiest gratitude to you Dr Igudia for helping me cure my Hepatitis B virus successfully.
Thanks for the information. This test definitely saves lives.

@@roninsixx3541 I’m glad to hear it. I go in on Thursday and I’ve been worried about it.
@@terrancelee5817 you're gonna walk outta there thinking I can't believe I even worried about this.

Medications to make you nice and comfortable! You mean you’re going to drug people. Speak truth.
Not enough drugs in the hospital would ever make me comfortable. Maybe physically l. Not mentally. No frigging way. There has to be another way
No way!! Not even with dinner and drinks!! Cologuard or bust!
Sedation is not nessarly they use it for extra money. In Europe, they won't even use it because it is that unnecessary.

Well so is the colonoscopy. All about making money
they had one doctor and a few nurses on staff. besides them rolling me around naked, wasn't that bad
Well I don't know why you would let that happen. I know for me there would be no women present. Not that I'd ever get one.

Total disrespect for male patients by medical professionals if a woman was treated the same way in front of multiple males there would be lawsuits

Who wants to tell them about the vaccine
no thank you ... i prefer to die ...
