I don't know if you've heard of it or reviewed it, but I would really commend the Nighwish Phantom of the Opera version, quite a unique one.
New here , just asking have you listened to original Nightwish phantom with Tarja Turunen ?
The both of them sang a song from Jekyll and hyde from Broadway NYC. I saw that musical 20 years ago. In 3 years i went to it 6 times. 5 times with the original singer-songwriter and the other a matinee with the second jeckyll and hyde. D
Henk poort en Floor Jansen. It’s a dangerous game. 20 year later and it sounds technical much better. I love the musical but I love them too. Love from Holland. Britt van Bokhoven
Please, do an analysis on Tommy Johansson's version - he is singing duet with himself.
Please react to Floor's performance of the operatic Vilja Lied from Franz Lehar!
Some other things of note: Henk was the phantom for a long time in the Dutch production of the show, and Floor was kind of a fangirl of his performances in the title role of the musical in the 90s. Nightwish also do a version of this song (basically as it was done here). Henk agreed to to the duet with Floor on the show with the condition that when Nightwish played in the Netherlands, they would perform this song with him.
Floor saw Henk Poort as the Phantom in the Phantom of the Opera when she was a child. He's her childhood hero, so singing this song with him is a dream come true for her. :-D
When she knew Henk was also in the show she deceided to also be in it. And from the first second she saw him she said they will do this song.
She deserves such honor. Floor is an amazing singer and performer!
@@vaclavfilho1131 Henk deserves an equal amount of honor
@@theshiftybloke4672 no doubt about it! It was an amazing duo performance! 😎
@@vaclavfilho1131 Yippyyyy
Producers: "Hello Floor Jansen, what range and variety can you sing?"
Floor: "Yes"
EXACTLY! She is AWESOME!
I had to laugh out loud there, but yes you are absolutely right. I've seen her live before she joined nightwish, she is an absolutely amazing singer.
Can't hit the E as this song should at the end, as can't Tarja. At least that's what i remember learning from Elizabeth's videos :]
@@fu6817usually the E is pre recorded instead of performing it live
@@jorritvanderkooi939 - Yes, but recorded by the actor who plays the role. Broadway does 8 shows a week, and some days they maybe couldn't hit that note. (And this isn't the only song Christine sings in the show, so just overall vocal fatigue is a concern.)
Beste Zangers was a one-off performance.
I don't know how much other singing she was doing on the same day before or after, or whether this was a good or a bad day for her in terms of hitting the highest possible note. But presumably the recording schedule for Beste Zangers gave everyone enough vocal rest to give as good a performance as they can, since I read they take turns singing, with each week one person having songs sung to/for them by each of the other people on the show.
Floor certainly was able to bring everything she had for the rest of the song, putting so much life into every note, and great *acting* performance from both of them. That's why I prefer this over the 2022 Nightwish live stage version where they had Henk on as a guest. Here, he's right in Floor's face, putting a ton of feeling into his side of the duet, right up to the end where the phantom is pushing Christine.
In the 2022 version, he just sings his last line and kind of walks away, and I didn't feel as much of the story of the characters coming through in that version. And it felt like they didn't want to take their time with Floor/Christine's warbles on the way up to the final high note.
And I love how long she holds the final note; as other have pointed out, it's like 16 beats here, vs. the score being written as 6 beats.
The joy on your face when you're listening to music is so charming to watch :)
So hot... So so so hot! 😅
LOL, I LOVE the giggles.
@@MrJagger112 Only a true simp gets offended and defensive about being called one. You just demonstrated your level of simptitude by getting upset over a meme.
@@BeHempy And I suppose you are one of the big and oh so strong "Alpha-males" for insulting people from behind a computer screen? :)
Yes, it’s true!
Floor hits a D6, which is a whole tone lower than the original score of E6 _BUT_ not only does she sing it _live_ (most actresses playing Christine would often have the E6 piped in during performances if they were concerned about not hitting the note live that particular show or they were saving their voice), she holds it for _SIXTEEN BEATS_ (the original score has it written as a dotted whole in 6/4 time, which is six beats).
Simply put, Floor hits the note a whole tone lower than originally written, but does it _live_ and for _two and a half times longer._
Woman's a legend.
According to Wikipedia, her range goes up to F6.
@@k_enn Tornadoes only go to F5.
Legends tell each other legends about this legend.
The last time I went to see Nightwish live they were playing this song, and........ Henk Poort suddenly walked onto the stage to sing the duet with Floor !! 🤩🖤🖤🖤
He was even wearing a sort-of metal shirt and did a little rock pose and all ^^ it was great!
"He sounds like he's done more opera."
Understatement of the century.
What she means is probably more into opera than other styles. While Floor is both metal and opera so she mixes alot of it. I guess you got that but incase you didnt!
Emil Larsson no he actually played the phantom on stage. pretty sure that’s what was meant.
Henk poort, played the phantom in de musical here in Holland
"He sounds like he's done more opera."
Well, you're not wrong! :D
Andrew Lloyd Webber named Henk his best male voice in 'The Phantom', did the show more then 600 times
I heard this said in a comment somewhere, and it's so true. "Most singers sing what they can. Floor sings what she wants." :)
True. She can even growl. ^^
She can indeed and put her together with Henk Poort they will blow youre mind
Henk Poort is a beast, seeing him growling on, for him, a new version of this musical, since he already had singed Phantom of the Operah a thousand times, he diserves all the respect.
It was a fun callback to his version of The Sound of Silence that he sang for Floor in her episode of Beste Zangers. He had to learn to use distortion for that song
@@marcch72 I think it's a nod to Marko's rendition of the Phantom, which Nightwish has been doing for quite a few years (originally with Tarja as their vocalist.) Floor was obviously tickled to hear it from Henk.
@@jpdemer5 no, Floor was/is a huge fan from Henk and was actually one of the people that motivated her getting into singing, she looked up to him and she didnt want to join this program until she heard that Henk Poort was joining the episode as well. They became good friends and he was very mesmerised by her singing that he actually learned a growling technique to Honor her as they have so much respect to each other
I really love how Floor has opened the eyes of a lot of Dutch people who were thinking metal was just noise and people screaming. All of the other artists on that season of Beste Zangers only perform in genres that are completely different to metal but seeing them all being blown away by Floor was just awesome. I can't listen to this version of the song without getting chills all over my back
Uhm within temptation
@@nickdeleeuw8866 great band but this performance it's epic
Uhm, metal is life.
@@andreisabogal6953 The Marcel Fisser Band does not get the attention it deserves. No telling how many hours it rehearsed with Floor and the rest of the singers. They deserved all the accolades they didn't get.
I loved metal first before I fell in love with opera. It has so much in common!
If you dont know much about the show the most impressive thing is that Henk has never in his life added distortion to his voice before this show, he did the sound of silence for Floor and did it the disturbed way with distortion and talked about how hard it was for him to learn to do but he pretty much mastered it.
Probably inspired to do so by Marko's performance
Honestly...I love just how much you're geeking out to them singing...just so much fun to watch your reactions. Also...Floor is the absolute best
:-D confirmed vocal nerd here.
@@TheCharismaticVoice confirmed vocal virtuoso is more accurate...I've seen some of your videos. You are phenomenally talented!

I read in BIO "...Elizabeth Zharoff is an international opera singer..." and I said to myself "let's check this out" CAN she sing?
well... YES, SHE CAN!!! as you said... PHENOMENALLY!
I think her and Bruce Dickinson are my favourite singers/performers ever. They are both so goddamn talented and very entertaining live. I have a few videos of them. I've seen Maiden 5 times and Floor/Nightwish twice. I saw Annette Nightwish once and it wasn't very good.
@@TheCharismaticVoice can I just say I love when you geek out XD
Your reaction to Ghost Love Score was one of the best I have ever seen. Your passion for great music and singing was clear for all to see so I look forward to this reaction
Could not agree more with M. Preval here!
Without taking a thing away from Floor, what I really love about this is how Henk transforms himself into The Phantom. HIs body language, his facial expressions, the way he positions himself in relation to her - you can just see the transformation as he sings into the role.
And of course Floor is my current favorite female vocalist in the world and that by far.
That's not a miracle he has played this role in the musical for more than a year. He on stage for 4 decades musical, opera and operetta
Henk has played the Phantom in the Dutch version but this duet was filmed after they had sang for eachother in their solo episodes of Beste Zangers
One of the most entertaining aspects of this performance to me are the reactions of the other four participants. Like, "these two are in a different universe from us, singing -wise."
You will love
Epica-sancta terra ft floor Jansen (retrospect version)
Trully...
Absolutely! here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/cx22Yuj2nzg/v-deo.html
Yes this one
definitely. Epica have better composition than Nightwish, better guitars, full orchestra, more epic singing parts and stunning Epica's diamond Simone Simons. Sancta Terra is amazing song, with Floor as this gig guest, it's really EPIC.
do it now! :)
Honestly I would recommend to react to Epica (anything from live at Zenith in Paris) without Floor first. Give Simone Simmons some appreciation first ;)
I love her version of Lady Gaga's "Shallow" too (at this show) - so gently and emotional.
Lady who?
and so completely different from what normally what Floor sings
Lady who? X2
+1 for recommending this performance, it really blew me away
I waited for your reaction and I love your joyfull face when doing it. She did Shallow in a complete different way. Breathy and small. You will be amazed!
In this show she also sang Vilja Lied with her operatic style. Just awesome, too! Recommend! 😀
Floor sang Vilja Lied for Henk. His mother used to sing it for him ❤
What note is the last in "Vinja Lied"? It seems very high, but I don't know how high. Maybe higher than the last in "The Phantom of the Opera"? Sorry if I am wrong :)
@@georg3607 I think the last note in vilja lied was slightly lower (After listening to both, i think that's 3 semi-tones lower), but still very high indeed.
But yes, Vilja lied would be great to listen to, for the more operatic sound.
Henk"s last "sing to me" so powerful, it fed back into both mics to give a" huge room " type echo --wow-- Best Phantom ever!
I liked his penultimate "sing for me" ..... that almost whispered, growling with an incredible menacing and sinister under-tone "sing for me"
They are so awesome together
That's what Andrew Lloyd Weber says.
Henk played The Phantom in the Dutch version and is considered by Andrew Lloyd webber as the best Phantom ever
very good observation
Henk Poort has definitely done more opera. He's had an opera career of over 30 years, including playing the Phantom of the Opera . He is considered by many, including Andrew Lloyd Webber, to be the best Phantom ever.
No one beats Crawford... He is TPOTO!
@@v4v819 Though not the best according to ALW. That honour he reserved for Henk Poort.
@@roykliffen9674 There is no best in art... He has his opinion, I have my own- which i stated above. To me Crawford will always be The Phantom... His portrayer is akin to my own sentiments of the character, and his performance hits closer to my heart and evokes a greater emotional catharsis than the other actor's rendition. That's what makes it art!
And also, he's the original- they all are standing on his shoulders as the master-type. And you know what they say- you can't beat the original. ;)
Though, The Phantom of the opera is not opera...it is a musical :)
@@Tapio86 So the man has done some musicals as well. He has been in over 20 opera productions. I think that would classify him as an experienced opera singer.
Please react to ALL of Beste Zangers with Floor Jansen. Villa leid is her introduction song to the show and first time they heard her sing.
For Opera try "Shoemaker" from the newest Nightwish album "Human :||: Nature" - it is on UA-cam 😢
only the ending is operatic
Shoemaker is not opera. It's a symphonic metal hybrid version of it. She uses forbidden vowels when she sings. Still an amazing song though.
@@pv2xeek Forbidden Vowels? Dude, in Music nothing is forbidden! Only opera dread heads are this way that's why I normally hate opera people. They always think they are top notch and only their singing is the latest and greatest singing. Nothing is forbidden in Music, period. Everything which suits the songs, the feeling, the story behind the song is correct. That's why the last part of Shoemaker was so difficult for her to do. You can, like a typical narrow headed opera singer over and outpower the song, make the voice the showcase of the song. Or like a human with a lot of empathy and feeling about how to place vowels like Floor to use the best fitting vowels and the right amount of power. Shoemaker is about Eugene Shoemaker and his life! A song to honor him and nothing else, the goal was to transport in the ending into space, directing it to Eugenes resting place on the moon. To transport this feeling and support it you have to adapt your singing... forbidden... wtf, haha.
That is why she is so good. She is not only one of the best singers because she sounds good, we all know that. She is so good because she knows how to use her skills right and to support the song, to transport the message as it was intended by the song writer. The songs from Beste Zangers are a good example for that. Hear it in Shallow or in Winner. She knew how to transport this to the audience and transport the message. Especially the one from Tim, "Winner".
@@firefox7530 Agree totally, but I suspect that The Charismatic Voice would agree with @J U.
Yes. Shoemaker is fantastic and it only gets better when you know the story behind it. Very short cliff notes version: Eugene Shoemaker was one of the founders of planetary science (his contributions to science are far to numerous to mention) and was supposed to be on a Apollo mission to the moon but illnesses prevented it. When he tragicly passed away in a car accident some of his ashes was put in a urn (engraved with the Shakespeare quote in the song) and sent with a probe to the moon some time later. So in a way, he did get there eventually. Only human buried on another celestial body (there are a few others in outer space and orbit)
Many vocal coaches have already reacted to performances at Beste Zangers. However, many don't know the concept of the television program. Beste Zangers (Best Singers) started in 2009. The group of 7 guest singers are invited far away from their families and isolated on Ibiza to judge each other performances.. The main guest, member of the group of singers and which changes every week sits next to the host and doesn't perform, but just listens and sees his/her song to be sang. The initial idea behind this is that the singer has organized a concert but unfortunately turned ill (imaginary) and has to look for a substitute to keep the show on going. Beste Zangers allows the main guest to have some clue how this may turn out to be. At the end of the show, he judges the best performance and therefore has found a good substitute. During the seasons more varieties in genres has been added. So every week the performers in the show face a bigger challenge to be versatile in their singing. One of the guests was opera singer Maria FIsilier during the 11th season in 2018 who was praised by the viewers to be the most versatile. Meanwhile the idea of finding a substitute has basically been dropped now.
In anticipation of a new season, guests are asked to join and if so, to send a list of songs they sing or have a special meaning. Singers receive these lists and do their homework in preparation for the show by making a selection and practice in their studio's. Some dig in the history of the main guest and find emotional or special and personal meanings for a certain song of their memory or idol. The selected song has to be kept secret from all other guests.
The last show of the season is dedicated to sing duets. As guests start to know each other better in their isolation on the island, they forge new friendships and want to perform together, which results in last-minute preparations in deep secrecy from other guests and the host.
The side effects of the guests' out-of-comfort performing are that the guests go home inspired and spread abilities in the art of singing.
So I recommend to watch all other shows and other seasons and be stunned over and over again.
Cheers!
Thanks for all the info, that sounds like an awesome show. I'll need to see if I can find a way to watch it.

Floor enjoys performing so much she smiles almost every moment she's performing!
It's like when an actor is just having a blast with a scene - it's just so emotionally resonant.
Henk Poort is a beast for sure. I heard that he was a reasonable boxer in his youth.
I've noticed both Floor Jansen and Anneke van Giersbergen do the whole genuine smiling while singing, you're exactly right. The sheer passion for the art really shows through!
Something really cool about this performance is that Henk was the dutch phantom for many years and andrew lloyd webber said he was his favorite to play the part. Floor got into singing seriously after seeing phantom as a teenager with her folks. So getting to sing this with Henk was a dream of hers. Gives me goose bumps knowing that. Your videos are great. :)
Like opera, Epica with Floor Jansen singing sancta terra 😉 that a freaking fast reaction
Their duet of Stabat Mater is even more impressive and Opera
@@arkiuskindfire yes, that would be an even better fit
Re: The Rock Style she is adding -> they are playing the nightwish arrangement of the song, hence also Henks rasp and intensity (which he did the first time ever for this and his interpretation of "the sound of silence" in the disturbed-arrangement, same show, for floor).
3:37 I guess Henk Poort is less known in the "opera world" than i expected. He is singing opera for 20 or 30 years across opera houses in Europe. He is a barriton. During this show he did his first "growly voice" and realised there is technique behind that to not destroy your vocals
And he did that in that particular occasion just to give Floor a little surprise of his own, cause he knew she'd love it; and you can see in her reaction she definitely was pleasantly surprised....There has been for a long time a mutual respect and admiration between those two..And I'm glad they did this.. 🙂
@@minumero4094 Well he did it first on Floors day when he sang sound of silence. But yeah it's pretty awesome to see someone with that much experience taking clues from other genres.
I absolutely love how Henk gets into the growl and then commanding his voice is. The second to last "Sing for me" where he gets into that deep deep growl is just , mmm.
Henk had power and command the whole time, but on the last two "Sing for me" he dug in a little deeper.
I think Floor may be my favorite female singer of all time. How beautiful is her voice and how great is she? The skill. oh the skill.
Can we get some appreciation for Hank Poort and his rock opera sound that demanded those high notes.
Note that this show isn't a contest, so has so much more fun in it. It even encourages people to leave their comfortzone and try new stuff. Each day (a weekly episode) one doesn't sing and the others sing something that person likes, has something emotional with (so could be one of their songs but not always). At the end they concluded with lots of duets.
Henk, the original Dutch Phantom (for 10 years!) has never sung it like this. His Sound of silence is great too. Floor definitely kills it every time, even if she sings Dutch, German or Spanish. Her solo of Shallow is amazing, she does it again as a duet. 😍
Just WOWWWWWWW❣

Nightwish - Poet and the Pendulum....you will not regret the masterpice !!! :D
With her musical background, opera, I believe Elizabeth would love "The Poet and the pendulum" - Nightwish, HQ with lyrics @ Wembley. And she would hear Marko, the bassist, on vocals for the first time. "7 days to the wolves", at Wembley Arena would be another great song for Elizabeth to react to. Floor and Marko sound so good together.
Way too early for Poet and the Pendulum. She needs more information about Nightwish, this song and what it means. Without the background and also lyrics up on screen it is almost impossible to do Poet and the Pendulum any justice in a reaction.
But I agree it is a masterpiece. Let's just wait for the Nightwish Army to give her the background.
@@dirkdorner701 Backround story and lyrics video yes, and then she is ready to react. The arrangement they did is the Nightwish arrangement from when they covered this song (originally with their first vocalist Tarja Turunen as Christine and their bassist/vocalist Marco Hietala as Erik). You are correct in that it is in a different key than the original version.
It's extremely rare that a song, no.. a performance like this makes me want to improve my audio system. You want to hear her opera voice listen to the end of Nightwish-Shoemaker
Charles Hall Yes, I'm also interresting of that, and also PAN from the same album.
Great presentation... Floor is amazing as always... Didn't like the wait... Prefer not to know and see when is really available...
Floor is a literal Goddess, best female vocalist on the planet
Floor is freaking amazing.
check out Henk Poort singing The Sound of SIlence, it's unreal
Yes, this!
👌👍
Check out Shallow from Floor in Beste Zangres, please? You are pronaunging her name the wrong way. Thank you from this great reaction
@@Spugedelia77 Also her version of The Vilja Lied from the same series. She performs it as opener of the first show. Floor and here capabilities are mostly unknown to both here colleagues on the couch as well as to most of the Dutch public at the start of the show, allthough being the most famous worldwide
`No better rendition of The Sound of Silence exists even including the original...Disturbed can't be touched ua-cam.com/video/Bk7RVw3I8eg/v-deo.html
Henk IS the phantom. Performed in Holland for years. Also on a side note i heard Henk agreed to do this song with her on the show if she would call him the next time Nightwish performed in Holland and let him perform it with her and the band on stage. Needless to say she happily agreed.
Floor's duet with Simone Simons on the Epica song "Sancta Terra" is another great one.
yes that's a great song. Kingdom of heaven by Epica aswell.
Stabat mater dolorosa better
Also, After Forever's Beyond Me during their final tour. Elizabeth would have a blast with that, given the fact that it has two excellent female singers and Mark's beyond killer screams and growls.
she CRUSHED the ending of that.
It’s like watching a chef dissect a perfect dish. Her delight is ...such a delicious treat
If you like to hear a very vulnerable side of her, make sure to hear: "Floor Jansen - Shallow" also from Beste Zangers. I'll fetch some tissues for that meanwhile.
Ken Tamplin said in his reaction that is better than original...and i trust him
@@palmanbracht9125 It is, for sure
Listen to her sing O Mio Babbino Caro. Also, listen to Nightwish with Tarja , singing the Phantom of the opera. That to me is the best version.
Yes, she also sings Puccini.
Henk was Webber's all time favorite Phantom. Floor has been a fan of his since childhood. He added distortion for her, because she invited him to come sing this with Nightwish.
I think Tuomas is warming up on the requisite instrument for that performance:

They didn't just sing this amazingly, but they performed the hell out of it!
Elizabeth's reactions are so instantaneously and impulsively in the moment and sincere. She is so expressive of her emotions and happy. I always watch her analyses twice: the performers and also her reactions. She makes me happy too. I love Floor and Henk and Elizabeth too. And her dissections of the performances greatly enhance my enjoyment of them.
You should check all performance of this reality, the one with Henk and Emma (vivo per lei) it's one of my favorites.. You are amazing and you're doing a great job!!
She can also growl btw. :D She does it on 'Yours is an empty hope'.
Revamp - wildcard
Revamp - disdain
That's growling....
Yes, try "yours is an empty hope" live at Wimbley, just to have an idea how much versatile is her voice
I had never heard of Floor, and Beste Zangers was recommended on YT, because I watch a lot of talent shows, I guess. Apparently, well known and talented singers in what seemed like the most friendly and intimate singing competition I've ever seen. Were the others good? Yes. Henk even played the Phantom in his home country. But Floor...oh, boy! This singer from a metal band?? Had this combo of power, charisma, versatility, and just a damn good voice. Watched the whole thing without understanding a word (I found translations later) It was pretty much hers from the get go. This clip right here sealed the deal! Glad you found her through your channel.
Everytime i hear that last part i get goosebumps and cry. Floor is just a fantastic singer.
Everyone in the room there got goosebumps. You can tell from the expression on their faces.
Well, this is how you find new names/voices. There was a Nightwish version of this with Henk and now I'm a fan. Of Henk.
I was at a Nightwish concert yesterday and Henk actually made a guest appearance and they did this song together. It was an amazing surprise, best experience at a concert thusfar for sure!
@@Julian-pq4lw i was there too, it was great
Floor Jansen - The Swiss Army Knife of Music....
Dutch Army Knife :) - the Swiss Army Knife probably sings in Eluveitie
She sings songs in 4 different languages on Beste Zangers. The lady's insanely talented!!!
Yeah and she translated one to English as well
I absolutely adore Henks Phantom. It feels both evil and tortured. Like wallowing in his own disgrace with power to spare.
I just love your energy Elizabeth! Greetings from the Netherlands, the land of Floor and Henk! :-D
A little bit of background on this. First Nightwish vocalist, Tarja Turunen was a clasically trained lyrical soprano and she sang Phantom of the Opera with them (with Marco, the bassist forming the second part of the duet) both on a album and during live shows. The song was retired from Nightwish live repertoire after they parted ways with Tarja. After BesteZangers performance, there was talking about reintroducing it to their newest concert tour with Floor (which of course had to be postponed because of pandemic) and maybe even featuring Henk during their Netherlands show.
Henk actually joined Nightwish on stage a few times early this year, (before you know...), it was his one condition for doing this song live. Check them out, especially the one in Oosterpoort, it's so much fun, seeing him having a blast performing before thosands of metalheads, horns and all.
Again she is opera singer with 4+ octave range and WOW!...One of the best sopranos in the world...
I'm mesmerized by all three of the people in this video. Floor, Henk, and the Charasmatic one!
When Im feeling bad, whatever the reason, I just came here with you because im enjoying the song but most for your reactions, love you Elizabeth.
The male singer, Henk Poort, is an Netherlands actor and singer. He mostly sings Opera and stared in the Dutch version of The Phantom of the Opera and Jean Valjean in the first staging of the Dutch version of Les Misérables in the late 1990s.
I love Floor and everything Nightwish have ever done (except carpenter) but I get tired of these reactions where Henk is ignored. The man is amazing.
Is it me, or does Floor sound always like «Nothing special here. I'm just warming up my voice»
I agree, Please listen to Joke de Kruijff , the original Christine in the Dutch version of the musical. That is so much better, especially the last note.
That note at the end is out of this world!
awesome super awesome..thats only i can say wow
Floor Jansen - Shallow | Beste Zangers 2019 - completely different style - will MAKE YOU CRY!
Elizabeth reacts Floor with quite a knowledge, she knows her craft, but she does it with childlike innocence, here, the charismatic voice, is all yours, my lady.
This is my favorite version of this this song of all the ones Ive seen online. I love Floor and Henk is also incredible and she sings this so outstandingly clear and also his face when she sings the last part just wonderful
OMG the intensity and the interaction between them is amazing. Hitting the high note fantastic. My eyes were leaking at the end.
Floor is a truly gifted singer. She has great range and control.
Henk gives me goosebumps every time. Proud to be from the same country as he is, we don't have a lot of (opera) singers like him here.
Everytime i watch the duet between Floor and Henk i love to see the chemistry they have. I love seeing Floor playing out the song. I love the look in her eyes when she looks at Henk. i love how Henk did the growl/rough voice whatever and Floor seemed surprised to hear that and totally loved that. Its great that Henk did that i think. The "there" how she says it at 1:25 i totally love. This duet brings joy, appreciation, respect, teary eyes, tons of goosebumps and love for these 2 great singers. Awesome!!
ONE OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE DUETS I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE! Hank is INCREDIBLE, Floor is UNBELIEVABLE! OMG!!!
This song sang by Floor instantly tears me up, it's sooo friggin good! That high note, o my gosh!!
I was lucky enough to see Michael Crawford and Sara Brightman's second to last performance in Los Angeles back in the 90's. My favorite musical!
Hi Elizabeth, thanks for your comment and your expressions. I enjoyed watching your reaction which made me smile. With a bit of luck I'll be visiting one of her (Night-wish) concerts, which I'm looking forward to. Thanks again, good luck with this channel and take care over there.
