Hey quick question I been trying to find some tie rods to go with the rack and pinion but I’m having a hard time finding them. I was wondering if you knew where I could get some at ? Thank you
@@max27dy17 I would try these guys bdxperformance.com/products/tie-rod-end-for-yerf-dog-gx150-1pc-1 they are out of stock. call them I know they order from China and their shipments are always off schedule. BMI karts. first places I would check.
I have a manco 720e build that's similar to this i want to lift the swingarm mounts down 6 inches so I can run a way taller tractor style tire. Have you considered lifting one that way?
What did you end up going with for rack boots? I can’t find anything that will work without rubbing on the front bulkhead from having too large an Outer Diameter. I also added 3 notches to the rack in each side so not only do I need that narrow OD but I also need length. I would assume you faced a similar challenge so curious what you ended up finding and if you could share a link. Thanks!

Looks really good bro. We almost have the same setup, 420cc, BDX preformance front kit. I went with 14"wheels (23" height) I'll post a video some time this month 👍
I am working on Chinese buggy, redoing everything. Putting in a 420 w stage 1 kit. I tried to mount a 60 tooth sprocket but unless I cut a bar, I have to use a 48. Think that will be ok? I have 10" wheels, tires are 22 inches.
@@joejenkins5883 check out my swingarm modification video it shows how I modified it to accommodate a 60 tooth sprocket. I'm not sure how a 48 tooth sprocket would impact performance. Everything I read said gear ratio for go karts best with a 60 tooth. BMI karts has a calculator you can check out. www.bmikarts.com/Go-Kart-Gear-Ratio-Speed-Calculator
Have you found the bdx front shocks to be too stiff? I’ve read several reviews they are stiff, but BDX claims you should only use their shocks with their relocation hw
I have not. They seem to work really well over bumps. I'm able to compress the front with the weight of my body then have the front end bounce right back up. The shocks have mechanical adjustment points like other shocks do where you can adjust the the tension on the spring a few increments at a time. I have mine set almost to the lest spring tension which gives it a good amount of travel and smooths out the ride. I can post a video of that helps.
