Rubber insert is meh
I like using the long sockets on motors with the plugs way down in the head. I feel like i get more accurate torque when im not using an extension

The long sockets also help to keep the spark plug properly centered and often allow you to turn the socket itself with your fingers for feel versus turning an extension when you are dealing with those deeply recessed spark plugs.
There are several videos on here demonstrating that extensions do not affect torque unless on an impact

Harbor freight replica tools too snap on are on point they are awesome for those weekenders diy shadetree mechanics they come in clutch for swaps etc … I mean Taiwan makes snap on too 🤷
My goal is to even try to bring them yo the professional world and save some new techs some money! Thanks for watching

I got the gear wrench set. Once I went magnetic I ain't going back.

I bought the 420pc set for my truck box and they are just as good as expensive mobile truck branded boxes in the shop

Is there one missing in the corner there , And if you're gonna warranty one of the sockets, do you need to return the whole set , You know like what They do with wrenches and stuff
That extra slot is labeled for "parts". I have never had to bring a whole set back for warranty just the broken one and they open the package and replace that one in my experience. Thanks for watching!

those really long sockets i use on hardware bolts and nuts. not sure they are nearly as useful in the mechanic space as much as they are for those boarding places up lol. Or for those in construction with similar long bolts with a nut on them.

Agreed. Love the gear wrench magnetic spark plug sockets. Maybe they will make a new version in the future!
I'm not a fan of the foam trays. They take up too much room in the drawer, and I like to have all of my sockets in one place.
That said, I bought the Quinn chrome 1/2"-drive deep socket sets (Metric & SAE) about 3 years ago, and I have beat the hell out of them. I have even used them for impact sockets.
And they are still going strong.
