How to sell your old barn. The Barn Geek discusses how to list your old barn on barngeek.com and how to deal with barn reclamation companies that want to recycle your old barn.
I have a 125 year old barn on my property, built by the Pennsylvania Dutch in Ohio. I am a single woman, on disability and therefore have very little money. I have been watching this barn fall apart slowly for 10 years, and it breaks my heart. In my search as to what to do it is very overwhelming, with nothing being clearcut. It has hand hewn oak beams that are worth a fortune. I was approached by a neighbor today asking to tear it down for the wood inside, and at this point I am desperate. I am praying for guidance. I am absolutely worried about someone coming in and tearing it apart, taking the valuable wood and then just leaving me in a worst position than i am now. How wonderful it would have been to have the money to save it. wish me luck, or better yet say a prayer!
visit our Old Barns for sale page on Facebook we have a very large group of professional barn re-claimers on there. I am absolutely certain someone will be able to help you.
Thank you very helpful. My barn has been in my family’s name for over 100 years. Problem is i dont know the square footage, what the wood is or exactly how old it is. Ive been kind of hoping I could save it. Its huge!
Loved the video man may I suggest you add the web site to the description area i figured it out but didn't jump to mind thanks again 👍

Great info.. thank you
We have a barn built in 1820 that we'd like to sell
Actually the beams are the most valuable! Maybe easier to sell the siding boards though.
Thanks.
Thank you so much for this.
Great! Talking slower than 🤬 and I still don't know who to sell my barnwood to!
