Love it!! I have traded an RV for an old barn!!! So excited to pick through the wood and begin my projects!!! Oh, and I know the history of the barn, property and the family who built it all!!
Sounds like a UA-cam video in the making!?
I'm diggin these videos. I'm currently deconstructing an old 'barn' in northern California built from redwood and doug fir. The wood is just amazing, tight grain and clear... but it sure is brittle.
Good luck on your dismantle project!
Good video , music was annoying
I have salvaged sometimes. If you're interested, some US county tax assessors have records online, some building permits uploaded go back to the 1800s.
Good tip, thank you for your comment
You should make Frenchies for reclaiming wood.
Once you have the wood, how do you clean it before you install it?

❤️❤️❤️❤️😊
We are attempting to do this right now here in NW Ohio. Lots of history still standing here in the middle of farm country. Thanks for the tips!
Sounds like a good time on the horizon. Good luck with your project!
Thank you! Can you show us some agreements, templates?
Thank you for your question and I yes we will include this topic for a dedicated future video. The landowners agreement is key to the process of sourcing and salvaging barnwood and should not be overlooked.
