In this video I install the Stinger Keyless Security switch to the golf cart. With all the previous modifications I've previously installed, I wanted to make sure we added some security to the cart. The keyless key switch needs a 4 digit personal pin number that you set to your liking. The stinger also has a app that works with your phone to turn the cart on/off and monitor your battery voltage. The stinger is also weatherproof so if you are washing your cart you dont have to worry about getting it wet!

Thanks for the video....this got me thinking....how about installing a somewhat hidden combination switch that disconnects the Forward/Neutral/Reverse rocker switch...OR, the Tow switch?......

This video couldn't have come at a better time. I am in the market for a golf cart. That appears to be a nice product. Is there a company that makes boots for golf carts.

Heck, you can put just about any key in my Club Car Precedent ignition or screw driver and it will work.
I was interested until I seen the price. $299 for something like that is way overpriced. Great tutorial though well done.
Expensive but i would say much cheaper than dealing with a stolen golf cart!
Most Club Car Keys can work on both the DS and Precedents models
Love your golf cart modification videos. I would love to see one on swapping lead acid batteries for lithium ion.
I want to do. My buddy did his and ots a little quicker than mine. His is high 30s low 40s. Mine is sitting at 35.
I got one of these for pretty much $60 by the guy that sold me the cart ran out of voltmeters, which I paid him for. But the stinger started malfunctioning. Now the stinger auto goes to blinking bottom light. The battery meter is completely useless for me.
Just a quick warning, manufacturer says not use with Lithium batteries.
Do they make something like this for a 2020 Onward HP Lithium?
What about the ezgo txt pads with the running lights incorporated in the key switch?

Hey Ryan...does this cart have the RoyPow lithium battery in it? From what I’m reading, this Stinger product doesn’t work with lithium batteries...
This cart does have the roypow. I did the roypow after I did the stinger. The stinger still works to power the cart on and off. The battery display pretty much reads full all the time with the stinger battery. However roypow comes with its on battery meter. I did the roypow 2 videos after this.
@@Fentertainment Thanks Ryan! Install is still the same with the RoyPow correct...all the wires will still match up like in your video? I have Club Car Precedent as well.
Hey Ryan and Andrew I am having a problem with my Roypow. Can you confirm install is the same? Because my navitas won’t register the key when it’s hooked up per the video. So something must have to be different
Will this work on a Cushman Hauler 1200 X gas cart or is it just for electric Clubman golf carts?
They have models for gas carts and utvs as well. Just need to contact them.

Does this work if I'm running 72 volts.
I believe they have a model that supports 72v but you will need to specify that when you order. I found out the hard way on this one😩
@Fentertainment oh so it burned up when you put it on your 72 volt cart 48 volts and below will be fine then.
@@ubcnme1 Thats right. At the time I got it, I dont believe they had the 72v option or I would have gotten that one to begin with.

This will not on my cart. My forward and reverse is on the key switch.

Awesome awesome device! Not so awesome price! Most of these thieves are rookies...flipping the switch to tow mode would deter 90% of them from taking it
At first I thought that but then if one has spent 1800 on an ac kit or 800 on seats then 299 for this isnt bad.

The same goes for the key switch. This is just like I listed in the title, "Keyless Switch". Actually a stock key switch with out a key is easier to bypass with out removing the dash or hooking up wires.
This video doesn’t show how to install only how to program. I need to see a video for the actual installation. You should change the title of the video

Very simple put a kill switch hidden i do it on all my carts. I rent them with no keys.
