I bought a City last year. A few thoughts on the battery: I think Dualtron's original intent was for the buyer to get a second battery and swap it off during the ride, eliminating the need to find somewhere to plug it in. However, that battery is far too heavy to carry on your back while riding. The only real advantage to the removable battery is that it can be taken out of the scooter to be charged elsewhere instead of having to haul the entire scooter to a plug. One thing I noticed is that the battery door is razor sharp on the edges. You have to be careful when it's open. Last week when I went to remove the battery to charge it, the door slammed down on my hand and I had to have my thumb stitched up. I hope that Dualtron will offer a more powerful battery for sale to replace the current one, however I also think the City hasn't sold well and that Dualtron will be reluctant to sell more accessories for it. Speaking of which, I think the reason they didn't sell the City with a foot rest is because they are expecting people to buy seats for it instead. I've seen quite a few people with seats on their City. By selling it "blank" they allow you to choose either a foot rest or a seat.
I converted a normal kick scooter with 16" tires to a electric and it rides 'sublime'. Even without any suspension I actually prefer riding it on gravel or dirt paths than to paved roads. For me personally this Dualtron City is a VERY interesting scooter.
DT customers asked for better pricing, a decent stem, controllers that don't blow up, proper display, bluetooth connectivity, smoother throttle, water proofing, a proper headlight and turn signals. Dualtron answers back with 15 inch wheels, LED lighting up the wazoo and higher prices. This is a hard no for me.

Not true you can go by an external light for anywhere from 50 to a 152 $100 so you've got to remember that you're paying more for the battery which is very expensive on all these high end scooters and also the motors aren't cheap either and all the other electronics I own the ultra too it blows most scooters 95% of them off the street on acceleration alone I don't really care for the top speed I usually do about 45 miles an hour but the ultra 2 will smoke 99% of the scooters out there

Surely this was the scooter to nail those features but again some missed opportunity here. Scooters you can safely commute on in almost any weather and at night with full suspension is what people are after. It’s not all about most watts and power. Over to Apollo and the upcoming Apollo city then….let’s see what they come up with, if the phantom features are anything to go by then I’m hopeful!
Bigger battery?
We here in Israel most scooters have 48/13
And more advanced 48/18
And in bicycle 48/20
I just bought 60/27 and yes as u say not enough for long ride
Small battery and short deck is a killer for me. Otherwise I think this is the way. One of the rentals in uk - Neuron - runs scooters with similar size of tyres and it's deffo an advantage over standard xiaomi clones.
Your voice vibrato is proportional to the road bumps and it is acceptable.
I like the way you stopped for that pedestrians at the crosswalk! 👍🏼 I do the same when I notice them. It usually helps other to notice them too. ❤️
No hills test! Do it!
Nice scooter but I wish it had a option for attachable seat.
It does
Cool scooter, but with a 360° cam it would be even better, we can see the city all around. ☺
nice squeeky brakes 😁
Ooh La La French🥖
La baguette!
Phone holder ??
This butten ? Nothing??? Yes tel my wath is this Button!!
Masz w planach nagrać o dualtronie Victorze ?
Nie
But is not water resistant, how could they miss that and for that price you can get the burn e 2
Throttle seems too twitchy for city use. Like most Dualtrons and power scooters.
Yes, but you can change this response very much with changes to the P Settings.
New tesla 4680 battery would be awesome for this.
Look more funs Adam 👍👍❣️
Fastride 🤫
It's much safer to ride it.Specially on an unfamiliar road in the dark as potholes & bumpscan surprise you in a bad way!!!
Looks great but doesn't offer enough for the price.😮
15 inch wheel give better take bumps and hole etc everywhere and also give better milleage on 1 charge cos they have less rolling resist 👍🏻but i more like deck closer to ground 👍🏻 Beside this and price yea best scoot on market like for me 👍🏻 perfect battery size however i will change also one more stuff = only 1 engine at rear but with more torque 👌🏻
Cool scooter but being a city scooter and the big price tag you would have thought it would have bright head lights ????
Not true you can go by an external light for anywhere from 50 to a 152 $100 so you've got to remember that you're paying more for the battery which is very expensive on all these high end scooters and also the motors aren't cheap either and all the other electronics I own the ultra too it blows most scooters 95% of them off the street on acceleration alone I don't really care for the top speed I usually do about 45 miles an hour but the ultra 2 will smoke 99% of the scooters out there
I hope Minimotors makes a new scooter from the speedway line I have a speedway 5 I really hope they make a speedway 6 in the future.
Dualtron BlueTran Lightning next please ...
