I love you guys so much but 4:51 there's almost no consistency going on here. No only is Andrew not applying the brakes at the same spot, he's not following through and keeping is center of gravity low and all the way back from stop to stop. It's no biggie of course but if you're going to give a determination based on the examples, maybe try to be as scientific has practically possible? Please correct me if I'm wrong but don't the accelerometers in the Dragy device tell you exactly how quickly it stopped with precise, stated measurements? I know other scooter and automobile channels are using it this way. Thank you for your thoughts about the Dualtron Popular. You're one of only 4 solid UA-cam review channels who have covered it. I doubt it.. I have the Inmotion RS it has dual 2000w motors and the top speed I've hit is 67mph..id say dual 1000w motors would cap out at 45mph max@@MattSeconds
I had high hopes for this but how they have put the front lights at the bottom I have no idea. No decent IP rating and no 10 inch wheels either. This is super super basic stuff, makes you wonder why none of this was done as wouldnt have added huge cost and would hav ebeen super easy to implemen.

Such a miss in my view not being able to see the indicators directly in front and behind, and not having a thumb throttle option but it’s nice to see a dualtron in a commuter category and price range! Be interesting to see how the upcoming Apollo go compares, won’t be as fast but has the better indicators and ip rating and the regen throttle. Good review as always though guys!
for quite a while they've had a gradual throttle response in the settings you can dial in, works great on all the newer ones with the colour displays, it's been around longer than that tho
I've been riding a n a n r o b o t d 4 + 2.0 and 6 + 2.0 for a few years as my only transportation. Still run great. But been wanting something bigger. But only had about 1200 saved up so didn't think I was going to get anything good during Black Friday sales. But seeing this. And I really liked it when it came out last year. Being the first 72 volt 10 inch scooter ever, dualtron Victor motors, I3 throttle. Some small issues in the beginning but they were fixed from what I understand. And you just can't beat that. So I have one on the way and I'm super excited. 1100 for the 32 amp hour LG battery with a one-year extended warranty :-) never rode anything bigger than a 52 volt. Excited. :-) and I always love your videos. Actually I got the blue Tran that's what I thought this was lol for 1,000

@@atchefrme623 nah its just the screws behind the fenders at the rear they come loose when you ride the scooter on bumpy roads over time! To fully tighten them , you have to take the wheel off thats the worst part about it but other than that it’s the best scooter! Especially if you get the dual motor version. Ride safe brother its fast!
my kugoo g booster has a 23ah battery i paid 800.00 pounds brand new its , max speed i had it at is 38mph , that is a cheap impressive scooter , i was surprised what it delivers but i a faster scooter way more power puts the kugoo to shame lol but now when comes too range that duatron scooter is differnt i may consider buying it around 800 pounds the 25amp battery is what i like , i hate them lights
My biggest negative here is for the range and speed it's still pretty heavy. Even in dualtron's own lineup the spider has a bigger battery, same speeds, but 57 lbs. Good value and specs though here if portability is not a concern.

Bluetran lightning is on sale for $999, or rovoron kullter for $999, bluetran is faster but has tubed tires, rovoron slightly slower but has tubeless tires. Sale won't last long bc the prices are absurd just fyi.

I’m 6’5” and 280 pounds. I’m a big guy. I live only 2 miles from my work and sorta thinking about getting a scooter because driving seems like a waste. What scooter would be good for a big guy like me? Well… if there are any. 😂
Seems really weird it's only dual 450 W Motors instead of at least a thousand. The blue Tran lightning is the same price waiting for it in the mail - and it's 72 volt 5000 Watts
I would not recommend this scooter. A friend got 2 of those and both broke down too many times because of multiple failures. Now he is trying to sell both, each under a different name so people dont get suspicious why he would sell both. Also, the Range is MINIMALISTIC, you either go most of the time very slow and steady to get a useable range out of it or you push it too often or drive too fast and its less than 1/3 of the advertised number. Electronic/software issues, suspension issues including parts breaking (and a potentially dangerous accident following), those tubed, small tires with 9" get a puncture so much easier than even my basic, cheap 10" CST tires on my Vsett. Yeah, its a not too bad commuter scooter for "little" money and its even POWERFUL (enough) beside being somewhat "small", but in general, i would see this type of scooter more like a safety hazard on the road to be honest. I personally ride a heavily modified Vsett10+, and the Pop is uncomparable to the Vsett in nearly all points, but ofc this premium also comes at a premium price i would be willing to pay for my own safety and comfort.
Shame its square wave. Woulda been a real winner if it was sine wave. I mean how much more can low end 52v sine wave controllers cost over the square wave garbage theyre using? It looked super jerky in the video when accelerating from a stop.
@JamesFaction doesnt matter, square wave will always be a jerky mess. Even if the throttle mapping is S tier, its not going to be as good as it could be with a sine wave controller. Not even mentioning the poor efficiency and extra heat from square wave controllers

If tesla allows the federal tax credit to be used as cap reduction on a lease. They will sell tons more. Not a fan of evs but if cheap under $400 monthly. I'd consider one

Yeah.. NO. The SINGLE motor version with crappy chinesium batteries is 1000 usd. The 25ah LG battery dual motor version in the video is 1400 usd

works on peak power my e scooter is 2400w . 45mph , peak power is 3600w i have 1200w extra when needed for hills ans so on

I have a problem, my skateboard after the battery drops below 48% goes into ECO mode and loses all power and speed. that is normal...

That’s max power though whereas the dualtron is 450w nominal or 1360w max per motor.

what makes you think squarewave is "garbage"? It has a super responsive throttle with a curve response in the settings you can dial in if you want it.
