I agree that the Jobienna sampler is under-appreciated. I absolutely love it and I purchased it as soon as it was released. I haven't gotten around to stitching it yet, but am so happy when you show your progress. To me it has a patriotic vibe.

I have recently discovered Flosstube, I happened to find it by chance, and what an addition it is! I believe I have now watched all of your episodes, I am amazed at what you accomplish! My love of counted cross stitch started probably 50 years ago, and many years ago took a LONG break from it to concentrate on many of my other crafting hobbies. It seems every year after Christmas I get the urge to cross stich, which I did again this year. Your comments about the Country Sampler reminded me that I haven't been there in years, Spring Green is only an hour away from where I live. I believe a trip is needed within the next 2 weeks!!!! Keep up the wonderful work, I truly enjoy watching your episodes. Some I have watched spend too much time talking about things not related to cross stitch, such as, "oh, my husband just came home from the grocery store and we ate lunch." We don't need to know things like that. I heard of your flosstube from Crosshatch Quilter, I believe. Keep up the great work, and encouragement for me to want to stitch more and more! And the project bags, they are a MUST to make, and soon!
I am with you. I have a small basket of WIPs and will not start a new one until a project bag from that basket is empty. Listening to people start 12 and 40! Projects makes me ill. Be content. It’s a good place.

Just found your channel...what a cozy home you have! And it looks like a gorgeous part of this vast country we live in. I fell in love with that Christmas bird FO...Just gorgeous. Am going to have to go search for that in the magazine...How exciting that you are close to retirement...more stitching time! I retired from teaching several years ago, and started cross stitching again after a 20 year break. I am surely enjoying it and all the changes that have happened in the industry. I only have one large whip. I work on it a little each month, but otherwise, I start something and finish it. I am stitching mostly smaller projects as I don't have much wall space for displaying items. Stay warm.

When I saw your victorian pin keep that tomato cushion you like so much in its little container reminded me that I saved a little round wooden container that Brie' cheese came in and said to mysel,f I should save this and do something with it. I had the same thing happen with a quilt pattern; it was soooo delayed and when finally arrived was absolutely wrinkled and filthy and had been wet...but the pattern inside was pristine. Actually working on that pattern this month.

I wanted to use those rings. But with arithric fingers one cant unscrew them. I always like a wip parade and kit parade. I finished 78 things all cross stitch. Only 6 framed pieces. I stitched 29bbd stockings. My one accomplishment was Coming to America. So glad I finished it but didn't enjoy it.
Oh my you have been a busy stitching fairy!!!!! I can’t wait to start my BBD stockings. Would like to stitch the Halloween ones also. Hmmmmm…. just something else to kit up, right?

You talked about starting a large sampler on 25 count Prim 1 over 1... I'm currently using that same fabric 1 over 1. I have the same issues you mentioned about being careful in not pulling tight because the thread slips under the weave of the fabric and having the threads sometimes disappear into the fabric. I tried a sample with 2 strands and it was too bulky and the stitching looked very uneven. I wouldn't recommend doing this for a large piece like the sampler you plan.

I love kitting up my projects. The other night I finished a project and just reached into the bucket next to my chair and just blindly grabbed a project. It contained a project with NPI floss. First time stitching with it and I'm loving it.

You talked about starting a large sampler on 25 count Prim 1 over 1... I'm currently using that same fabric 1 over 1. I have the same issues you mentioned about being careful in not pulling tight because the thread slips under the weave of the fabric and having the threads sometimes disappear into the fabric. I tried a sample with 2 strands and it was too bulky and the stitching looked very uneven. I wouldn't recommend doing this for a large piece like the sampler you plan.

I love kitting up my projects. The other night I finished a project and just reached into the bucket next to my chair and just blindly grabbed a project. It contained a project with NPI floss. First time stitching with it and I'm loving it.
