Those medleys are just the best background music for doing basically anything. Just super great to give your thoughts a little creative spin while doing so, without distracting you at all. majestic.
200ike I have a ton of FF battle medleys! :D So there are 45 minutes of battle arrangements to hear on my channel. They're old, though, so they're not as good objectively. Still, I'll be remastering them one day.
Have you actually ever considered collaborating with some (indie?) gamedevs, to make an original video game soundtrack? I'm sure many of them would consider themselves lucky to get such an awesome score! :)

I really like your works. They're very good for relaxing and getting drowned in nostalgia. I like the smooth transitions. Something about it really sounds soft too. It's helping against my stress. Thank you for this. I sincerely hope you get more likes and all, because I think you deserve it.
I was waiting for you to do FF5, it's one of my favorite Final Fantasy's and has a great soundtrack as well! Love the instrumentation for Dear Friends, The Land Unknown and Cursed Earth - and Home Sweet Home sounds absolutely beautiful

Larissa Cristina I share your desire. I want a remake of FF6 much more badly than any of the other titles. Remember how much enrichment and story was added to the DS remakes of 3 and 4? If 5 got the same treatment, I think it could arguably be the best Final Fantasy. The story is so good, just the sparseness of it (When compared with 4 and 6) make people forget about it. And, of course, it's got one of the most gorgeous world settings and soundtracks, and one of the best class systems in the entire franchise.

yet another amazing medley I especially like your take on the fire ship and the library maybe one day if you haven't already you could do longer versions of those when you have the time also I find it very interesting that you didn't do battle on the big bridge I would love to know the thought process behind not including it and/or why you did include the songs you did if I'm not asking for too much?
Thanks! This is actually my favourite of the FF medleys I've created. There is definitely an intensive process that goes into this. I've talked about it at length in interviews and making-of videos already, actually! I can sum it up by saying that I want to tell a story through song, and choose the song order based on thematic, musical, philosophical and aesthetic considerations. Sometimes I want similar sounding stuff that flows well, sometimes I want starker transitions, and sometimes I want to draw out/emphasize previously understated connections/patterns.
@@RebeccaETripp as I listen to this again I can more clearly hear the story you want to tell and yeah what you say makes sense, you have a very interesting creative process!

Hello, Ian! I'm really glad you enjoy my versions of these themes! I have a few other FF5 tracks on my channel if you haven't seen them, which are standalones (some of which aren't in this medley). :) You can use any of my existent FF5 material as long as you credit me, but I'm afraid I won't really have time to do a remaster on that scale (at least not for free). It would be a massive undertaking which could take months.
I'm always so happy when people honour the FF5 OST! It's spectacular! Definitely top tier! I think it shares a slot with 4, 6 and 9 in terms of soundtrack, personally.
Um… no V did absolutely not have the best soundtrack in the series. 6-10 and even 13 had much better soundtracks Personally to me it has by far the best rig mechanics and the most holistic example of what and FF should be! Probably my number 2 or 3 in the series as a whole!

FF V had the best soundtrack in the series. Very malinchonic, poetic and intimistic. FFIX had a great soundtrack too, but FF V is few better.

FF V was a tragic non-release to the US, but then along came the Playstation and we got to play them all.
