Hi @Speedindustry. I have the HKS SQV BOV installed and am thinking about installing the HKS CF strut braces like you have. Looks like the brace sits on top of the BOV solenoid. What's the right bolt measurement to secure them both in the suspension hole? I'm thinking it would have to be taller? Thx in advance.
I need more context about why electronics are required just for the BOV to operate as normal. In theory it should only need a boost reference off of the intake manifold and it should work or am I missing something? Doing all that wiring just for an added sound isn’t worth the time of install. Better off spending money on the xHP transmission tune pack. I want to see part 2 of this video.
Downside to this BOV kit from HKS, if running port injection, the BOV will hit the top underside of the hood, when you close it. It will rub the factory hood, and part of the color off the HKS BOV itself. Loved the sound but I removed it and sold it.
If you just skip through like 30 at a time, he keeps talking every time you press play. Sounds like too much work, lol. Just get the ArmaSpeed intake or the MST...then you get the flutter, and you didn't do anything extra, just a replacement and 11hp
@@Speedindustry I have no basis for my stance. Lol. But assuming the Supra's bov goes from recirculation to vent to atmosphere and assuming the map/maf? Sensor measures air before the recirculation point, you would need a tune, no?
@@mm8436 intake to engine to turbo/exhaust to charge pipe to bov/engine and return to intake. no, no tune. stock just doesn't bov. It's purely for noise and less back pressure I'm assuming when you let off throttle.
This blow off valve better be the best one ever to be doing all that on the install 😂
Waiting to see the other video of the install. 😊
can you do full installment step by step on next supra to follow instructions on in video?

I’ll see if we can post a PDF link of the instructions up in our next video
@@Speedindustry pleassseee do!
@@Speedindustry What is the purpose of all the electronics? BMS chargepipe bov kit for BMW B58s use turbosmart BOVs with no electronics
Will this require a tune?

Definitely not worth all the for some more NOISE. My intake on the supra added plenty of sound. People Will literally blow money on anything???
Can these charge pipes handle 700-800 hp and high boost tho?????
Skip to 06:22 ….thank me later.
cant wait to hear the sound, also can you install this on my car ? i did ez way to use this bov last year but only sound when accelerting lol
What rear diffuser is that?
OG Fly1
Finally a blow off valve for it
Not worth the work and wiring lol...
only 990.00
way too much work for sound...

Second
I'm fairly certain you will need a tune
Explain your thoughts....

IMO, NWA....lol (not worth it). Way too much effort for a psssht sound.
First! Haha
Yes you are!
