Man, I seriously enjoyed that video, I still can’t get over how amazing all these exhausts sound in person, somehow even the video doesn’t do some of the louder exhausts justice. But for those who wonder, the sharp cracks in the video are very loud booming pops (similar to loud fire crackers).

Glad we could help! You really can't go wrong with a downpipe! That's your best way to get more sound to come out of the car. Yeah some setups get pretty close to the iconic sound.
I think the catless dp with the resonated AWE is one of the best sounding. I sold mine while I wait for my SP1R which comes in today and installed this weekend. in the meantime, I am running a single exit Tomei. I don't mind the sounds of the single exits, they sound great, but I still think the AWE is one of the best. I'm doing mine as I just love the look the SP1R gives. Great video, I know editing and getting it all put together isn't easy.

I find myself liking the Boostlogic system more than I thought I would. Might be just right w/ a catted downpipe. I like the AWE, but hate that you lose valves. I like having them, probably because I got pulled over for loud exhaust all the time 20 years ago.

It was released just after this video, but Dinan created an A9x exhaust, and they’re like the go-to performance parts company for BMW’s, I wonder how their exhaust lines up to all these others!
Yeah I'm down to do another video that includes all of the exhausts that I was not able to do. Maybe with enough planning I can, but a lot of the cars here in DFW have a variation of all of the exhausts featured here so it'll be tough. Would love to hear a Dinan exhaust though!
I loved this video. It’s like seeing my brothers in arms. I have a 23 3.0AT and I love it stock. Seeing all these mods actually solidified it for me. However a resonator I might look into. The car can be really over emphasized or overwhelmingly smooth. I prefer the latter. Cheers guys!
I think the RK wins, followed by Tomei… I went with HKS because it’s subtle but I got used to it quickly so got a AMS downpipe. I’m used to that too now, so not sure what’s next 😂
@@dom_a91 i have it with stock cat, its perfect. i am used to having a modded exhaust though. i guess some say it may have drone. to me...cruising weather is hwy or anything else. no issues. its quiet. all i can say is that i am happy. once i get a high flow cat it may change. on start up its nice and LOUD. lol

I see the years are added for the first 4, but it would help me out as I went and test drove a 2020 3.0 premium , loved the stock burbles but when I test drove a 2022 3.0 premium, there was little no burbles on down shifts. I understand that getting a downpipe might make it better, but it's a difficult decision because I love the supra look, but having burbles is a must for me... How has your road trip been? hope all is well, please let me know what you think would help my situation!
Honestly I don't remember a majority of them lol getting a downpipe will definitely make it "better" in the way of sound if that is what you're referring to. A tune will make the biggest impact. Actually got back from the roadtrip a month ago, but it went well! Working on editing the rest of the videos to share with you all!
Haven't seen/met anyone in TX with an ARK exhaust. Primarily those people in CA since they're based there. I ran their exhaust on my WRX a while back and loved it.
I have a 2023 A91 6MT (cu later gray) and after a couple months of trying to get the HKS Hi Power, I went with the ARK DT-S. The HKS was backordered and the ARK was Plan B, but it should have been Plan A. What an amazing exhaust. Louder than the HKS and just very unique because not as many people run it on their Supras. I'm in Orange County, Ca. Caleb Sok's is insane because he runs catless but I'm still on an oem downpipe and it sounds amazing. I can't imagine my neighbors would like me if I ran catless downpipe with this system. I can share sound clips if you guys have Instagram. Very happy with my choice. I'm slowly building my car and my butt dyno is in love with the ARK DT-S.
What's the difference between the stock exhaust and the CF stock exhaust? I didn't know there were any exhaust changes with that edition, but they sound so different!
Hey Vince, Off topic question of this video, any chance you are aware of any way to adjust the headlight level? My low beams seems to be angled down and very short distance. Toyota Dealer had no idea what to do ..
Dual Tomei is a tad louder, but AWE isn't that further behind. AWE is deeper and I would prefer the AWE myself. If you're wanting valved, the Magnaflow X-Mod is also a fantastic choice. High quality, super quiet when the valve is closed and is loud as hell WOT with the valve open.
MAYBE a small bump, but you'll get more of a power difference with a downpipe and tune. Intake also does not do anything on this platform other than sound.
AWE is definitely a little quieter with more rumble. Quiet in the cabin, but gets loud when you get on it. HKS is moderately louder in person and the cabin so just really depends on what you're looking for in an exhaust!
If you do a catless downpipe and probably one of the AWE exhausts or HKS, it would give that rumble feeling. Pretty much anything without mufflers would be obnoxious loud from the outside!

IMO with a catted downpipe non-valved sounds decent. The catless valved version is too raspy for my personal taste. Different strokes for different folks though!
Yellows are also rare in Southern CA. I have a 45th anniv. Mikan Blast (orange). Unfortunately, so do two other owners in our Supra group in San Diego. There are either no yellows or the owner of one I saw at the first meetup I attended no longer attends any of the subsequent gatherings.

That top mount 6466 sounds so good omg. For stock turbo I’d go with the tone of AWE, but I’m sure it might change when I hear these in person.

It’s a nice piece for sure and having the valves are nice. The AWE sounds nice and it’s not too rowdy, but yeah surprisingly no valves.
15:27 sounds almost like a v8 growl on idle which as an owner of 2 mustang 10r80s, i can say would be my preference.

I have the AWE touring now with my top mount 6870 and it's smooth and quiet when cruising. Then if you want to be loud, just floor it. Nice option.

Not really. There's way louder. The catted, RK Titanium track I would say is louder than the catless BoostLogic in person.

The single exit titanium ones with a top mount just because that is going to be my setup. Low rumble with turbo spool sounds are the best!

As a deaf Supra owner, I wanted something louder than stock without being obnoxious. Would any of them have nice rumble feel inside the car?

Back pressure isn’t the best on it, it’s already limited with the 3.5”.

I think the full ETS Supra sounds the best. The rest pretty much sound the same raspy sound.
ETS does sound nice, but the SP1R has a nice rumble. AWE also sounds good.

IMO with a catted downpipe non-valved sounds decent. The catless valved version is too raspy for my personal taste. Different strokes for different folks though!

Yellows are also rare in Southern CA. I have a 45th anniv. Mikan Blast (orange). Unfortunately, so do two other owners in our Supra group in San Diego. There are either no yellows or the owner of one I saw at the first meetup I attended no longer attends any of the subsequent gatherings.
