How much boost can the Hks charge pipes handle? I had bought some VR RACING charge pipes since I plan on upgrading turbos. but now I am looking to get the BOV and I see that a Hks charge pipe comes included with the kit. Some advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
Am all for aftermarket support on the b58 platform. But honestly in my opinion there is no reason for anyone to get that BOV when you can get a armaspeed intake that sounds louder and better
I have a 2023 manual A91… I always wanted the BOV sound since I first saw fast and furious. Doesn’t seem to be worth it for an auto. I’m excited to see how this works on a manual. Mr speed industry, people with 2023 supras that have a locked ecu… can you look into dinan dinantronics X ? I can’t find anything online yet about anyone reviewing it. For 579.95 and it’s available for a 2023 supra it’s interesting for some extra power plug and play as an alternative to getting the ecu cloned or unlocked.
We are testing this soon on a MT - I assume it will also be needed as well on the MT , but its going to sound so much better on the MT when shifting through the gears..

I’d get it if the install wasn’t so daunting. Ripping apart under the hood is one thing, but I don’t touch my interior. Love that sound though!

I figured a way to make this kit operate the HKS BOV normally. With my setup now it only opens during shifts or when I release the gas peddle.

do you have to turn off the controller once you turn off the ignition or is it safe to leave it open?

Does this require a tune. I know that a sti needs a tune if the bov is fully vented
Just adding an intake will practically get you the same sound
Totally agree! I installed the Armaspeed intake and the sound is great (maybe even better).

Just curious......why not just tap into a boost/vacuum source like a normal bov?

There is a clip on our insta story now. Sound clips on the engine bay had a lot of noise. You can ask for a DM on that and maybe we can send it
