The updated Lectron Billetron 38 Carburetor provides better throttle response, more bottom end power and better fuel economy in a more compact design machined of billet aluminum. Using their proven metering rod technology, Lectron’s carburetor is able to self-adjust to conditions that would otherwise negatively affect your air-to-fuel ratio and cause poor performance. The newest generation Billetron features a finer idle adjustment, more precise tuning on the metering rod, new choke design, new slide design, metering rod location and OEM throttle cable compatibility for most two stroke applications. Take a closer look at these new features and more as Chase gives a product spotlight on the all-new Lectron Billetron 38mm Adjustable Carburetor.

I held off getting a Lectron HV because I'm a bigger rider on a 250 and didn't want to loose any low-end, plus deal with a new throttle cable and fitment etc.. When the Billetron 38 was released and reviewed, I jumped and got my pre-order in. Let me tell you, there is no loss of low-end with the Billetron. My Husky TE250 gained some unexpected grunt off idle and in low revs, in fact it was enough that I was a little too hot coming off some roots, got flung off the trail and now I'm recovering from rib injuries🤔. I have not been able to get back on the bike yet for more testing(and getting used to the new feel), but the entire power curve is very smooth, the engine is quicker to rev everywhere and its still plenty nutty at the top. Its good stuff.

I ordered a Billetron as a last chance before going and buying a TPI 300, I have never in all the years of riding KTM & Husqvarna 300’s felt I could ever get them jetted correct for all situations. Put on my 17’ Husqvarna TX300, less than 30 minutes to install, amazing!!!! Smooth from zero to wide open, and way more low end. I am not one for expensive gimmicks although I have no desire to go buy TPI bike now, actually runs stronger than my buddies new 20’ & 21 300’s

Got 2019 ktm 150sx and I installed the new billitron, it was perfect out the box only thing had to do was adjust the throttle cable. This is my first 2 stroke and first carb bike I have always rode 4 stroke with ego. This thing out of the box was awesome and made the power pull evenly trough out and made it feel like fuel injected, very smooth. I absolutely love it.

I ordered one from Lectron for a '04 450 exc. They called yesterday and I immediately went to the negative in my mind, "oh great there's some major issue",... she was like I have your order info here and in your name it says, "I'm looking for a mini" ????

Have a H series on my 2017 KTM SX 150 for 5 years now. Told RM what bike I had, they shipped it out, I put it on and never touched it for all 5 of those years. I race mainly MX and some GPs from sea level to over 4000 but also have a few single track trail rides over 8000 ft. It started(usually first kick), idled and ran perfect every time, every place, at every altitude. I've now put it on my new 22 KTM SX 150 and so far runs exactly the same as it did the last 5 years on my 17 SX 150. I've thought about the new Billetron but don't know yet. The 22 SX 150 runs great with it and I still have never made one adjustment to it since I took it out of the box 5 years ago. Just another point to make, every person that has ridden it is amazed at the low end and smooth hard pull all the way to max revs. If nothing else I would buy a Billetron just to get the float bowl drain and the choke lever on the left side. I admit the right side choke lever is a pain to get to on a SX 150.
I also just bought the 2022 SX 150 because of the way it starts and runs so cleanly with the Lectron H. I don't need the extra 10 lbs that KTM has but on the 2023 SX 125 for fuel injection and electric start. Plus the fact there isn't going to be a new SX 150 cycle or big bore kit for the SX 125 for probably 1-2 years into the future.

In terms of ease of adjustment and less jetting headaches, you simply can’t beat the Lectron. Especially all of the design changes they made to improve this new BILLETRON!
I’ve outfitted four of them on the bikes for my Throwback Two Stroke Garage Build Shootout, a 2004 CR250R, 2007 KX250, 2006 RM250, and 2005 YZ250. I’ll drop some more riding feedback once my shootout video drops here shortly!

I’ve had several of the old style for KX500s, CR500s, KTM300s, and CR250s. My only feedback is that it would be nice to have them include and exploded diagram of their carbs with part numbers, sort of like the OEM drawings that the MX manufactures use when you are ordering OEM parts.
The only problem I have ever had was an issue with the float valve not sealing on one causing a rich condition. You could see that the float bowl was too full. Their WD-40 trick did not work for me that day. So, I just had to go to my spare bike. They offer very little in terms of exploded views. I know they offer a chat service but when your are way off the grid riding, the chat will not help you.
Don’t get me wrong, I do like the Lectrons, I’m just offering suggestions. It would be nice if the top of the carb had a cap that accepted an O ring instead of the loose gasket. They could even use C clips on the screws to they won’t accidentally fall out, though I know that “K,” and “M,” don’t offer that either.
    Good product.
