- Its not a matter of should you buy a Range Rover Classic, its can you buy one. It's not a Camry, conventional logic need not apply.

I really love your real world approach to this. My 95 ain't pretty, but it is very functional.
Im the luckiest man on the planet. 4 months ago I had a friend mention that he just got a nut and bolt restoration 1975 3 door and needed to get rid of his 95. I wasnt even looking for a Classic. He sent me some pics, a brief description and I wired him funds the next day. Not a speck of rust. I needed a light restoration project in my life. Having a blast. BTW the dog barrier makes a good gun rack!
cars as an investment made me chuckle. to me they have always been a tool or a hobby
Actually, classic cars have been the best performing investment of all asset classes

I've made money on the last 5 projects I've done. It's definitely possible with the right eye, capabilities and a little bit of luck.
I'm not a mechanic and it's just a hobby that brings in some extra cash all while enjoying the vehicle.

@@AddictedMotors it’s getting similarly difficult to find one here and in the UK. Up until recently they were treated like the Discovery 1/2 is currently; chopped up for their engines or bobtailed and turned into trials trucks. Everything that remains is either rotted to oblivion, or prohibitively expensive for enthusiasts like you were talking about in the video.

I own a 87 and a 88 both Dallas trucks since new and they still had rust the Brit’s really did a bad job rust proofing and that foam insulator kills em from the inside but from an investment standpoint it depends on if your doing the work yourself or taking it to a mechanic if your going to a mechanic it’s not an investment because they even price gouge on these junkers because it Carry’s that scary Land Rover name 😂

The 1987 NAS RRC did not come with a sunroof, nor was it offered as an option. (Which is why I have only ever owned 87's - haha)
