I don't believe Jimmy Page is interested in being in another band. He did form another band briefly with Paul Rodgers "The Firm" where they made a couple of studio albums. He's been there and done it all. He has nothing to prove. In less than three months he will be turning 80 (January 9th, 2024). He's left his indelible mark in the music world.

He made a solo album then did Coverdale page, then page and plant, then put out the album with the black crows, did the zeppelin re union in 2007 which spawned a live cd. He’s re mastered a bunch of zeppelin recordings and released some old never heard before live stuff. The guy is worth so much money, he doesn’t have to do anything. They were their own record label after the 4th album and he was the producer. Most of all royalties from zeppelin go to the actual band members
without robert plant he does not seen interested in doing anything else when he works with plant half the work done for him i think page is lazy

It should be noted that Alain Johannes, who is also a super guitar player, was part of Them Crooked Vultures playing the live shows with them. But as usual, his contribution to the "super group" is completely ignored. His skill, especially as a finger picker, rivals that of Page, though I believe he played mostly bass for Them Crooked Vultures as well as some guitar. No mention of him in the video with all this celebrity worship garbage? That figures. Who cares about Johannes or his illustrious resume as a supporting musician for many groups over the years?

@@seanatkinson770 I'm referring to his ability as a fingerstyle player. They have different styles but as a fingerstyle player I am completely serious. Check out some of the stuff he did for Spark. Or the bass line he plays on Highway 1 live or any number of things. Their styles are different, but Alain Johannes is very adept at playing guitar and many other string instruments.

Grohl is a typical human being doesn't appreciate being with a perfectionist like Jimmy Page says one thing means another his heart's not in the right place Jimmy is nothing to worry about Jimmy is just unbelievable perfectionist and God gave him such talent that he used and you always get disappointed

Worshiping the devil and following Crowleism is a a literal cult that he is a part of, it was written on their vinyl. Not that it matters with this sort of yellow journalism, but Page was not needed for Them Crooked Vultures as both Josh Homme and Alain Johannes (who the video shamelessly omits) were playing the guitar and bass for the album. The whole point of the "super group" as they call it was to get Johannes involved back in music after the recent passing of his life partner Natasha Shneider in 2008 (the album was released in 2010). Page didn't have anything to do with it and I doubt that he much cared about not being asked to collaborate on the project, given the surrounding circumstances. This video is inaccurate, to say the least.
