Take care of your health!! That's #1 most important thing. Without it you can't do all the other things! But it sounds like you're doing a good job and being proactive and taking this beak which you need! Sending support
A break is realistic for us with disabilities and medical conditions and day jobs and family. Oh would you look at that! You have all of it! Most of this writing/hustle culture is NOT designed with realistic work-life balance in mind, much less with health or disabilities in mind.
Very true. Some days I wonder if doing it all is worth it. 🤔 more so the addition of writing when I have a full time job and a family and medical conditions. I enjoy the process and one day would love to rely on it for at least a small portion of income. I think i need to pull back to a point of making it an enjoyable process for now, rather than enjoyable and a business lol. One day maybe it will happen
@@TaniasWritingRealm find a method and a rhythm that works for you instead of trying to follow an existing method created who knows who. That unknown someone is probably fully able and lives off their writing already. Work at your own pace. I think I'll die on this hill. Lol. I started working at my rhythm, with methods and schedules that work for me, and I'm seeing results. I won NaNo for the first time in my life and I'm not burnt out. Yes, I did take a couple of days off, because health issues as well, but I'm not burnt out. That's why hearing your exhaustion prompted me to comment. We have to do what works for our unique conditions and life obligations.
@@DalCecilRuno thank you. I'm glad you found your rhythm. I'm still working on mine. Congrats on nano! That's wonderful. Great feeling of accomplishment
@@TaniasWritingRealm you'll find yours too. Try using a part of the break to think about a way of not overbooking your life. It's possible, and maybe slower than what we perceive others are doing, but we won't be driving ourselves to exhaustion every so often. Now I can say that! 💜
Has your November left you feeling burnt out?
Yes
November was busy! Sorry to hear you're going through a tough time, do your best and take care of your health 😊
@@MrVlandus sorry to hear that. Get some rest!
@@SelfPubWithAndy thank you, for sure it's time to slow down

Thank you! Very kind of you to say.
Awesome. Yup. I had covid for two weeks of November
Oh wow I'm sorry to hear that! I hope there's no lasting effects
Can understand being burnt out, you did a whole lot in November and you need the rest. I hope the search for a new doctor goes well!
Thank you! 😊
