Audrey Chang yea sorry but that’s never gonna happen. We said the same thing about 90s fashion in the 2000s and now everyone is walking around looking like they stepped out of a 90s fashion magazine. Besides 2000s fashion wasn’t as bad as you think. The real clothes real people wore weren’t as out there as the media likes to depict.

ashshenanigans 12 I have wide hips too. As long as the jeans had wide bell bottoms though it helps balance out the hips. It was the low rise skinny jeans that were the least flattering. I’m glad that style didn’t last long and the rise got higher and higher on skinny jeans.
Everything about the 2000’s was amazing. It will probably make a huge comeback in the 2020’s like the 90’s did this past decade and I cannot Wait

They totally missed the fact that leggings were extremely popular in the 80's, too, and worn with long tops and tunics (with shoulder pads). What I love about fashion now is that you can wear almost any of these styles. I love that freedom!

The 2000’s was such an iconic time for fashion. Long live the days when a pink tracksuit, ugg boots, bleach fried hair, and a splotchy spray tan was the epitome of beauty.

Why do I feel like the 1950’s always has the cutest fashion? It’s so classic and timeless. Even though it was 70 years ago, the styles are similar to the way people with “vintage style” dress now. Cute capris and a floral dress are still very common.

Pants for women (at least in the US) have a history much earlier than the 1920s! During travelling trips, especially on harsh overland trails women wore pantaloons, basically a knee length dress with wide legged pants underneath! (Dresses + horses + the American West did not mix well) And this was around even in the 1850s. (No criticism here, just some fun facts!)
