@@tonyscarcare5657 used to get a tap when quart low oil. Lifter went quiet w filled. I burned reg gas adj timing to do so got 17mpg not 8 like the 69caddy conv we had then 🥴 still have spare carb from 462 67 Lincoln similar 75$
It was the thing to do at the time. I don't believe it will bother the majority of the people who see it. There's things about the car that others won't like, but it's nothing that couldn't be changed if someone desired to do it. I believe he's more concerned about getting rid of the purple color and the wheels and tires at this time.

My Dad had a 1959 Lincoln when I was about 14 y/o. Ford Motor Company had not discovered "sleek" styling until well into the mid 60s. Just my opinion.
The 56 Ford is an absolutely beautiful car. And the 49-54 were huge sellers. Some were gorgeous.
