The car should be at ride height / with weight on the wheels before you tighten the control arm bushings. You shouldn't fully tighten them with suspension hanging.
I forgot to record it but i went back and loosened them all and applied load on the suspension with a jack. Took me a couple try’s but I got it! Sorry about missing that for the vid, I was eager to get out of the house being sick for 2 weeks. Scatter brained for sure
@Saucyb7 Media Good deal! Don't want the bushings failing early. I appreciate and like your videos man, keep up the good work and keep posting videos! Clean and sharp looking B7 🤙 subscribed.
I appreciate you lookin out as well! It’s comments like that what help not only me but others watching learn along the way!Definitely a learning process with filming and wrenching! Thank you for tuning in!! 🫡
right, but before you start on that work, you should messure the distance from the wheelcenter to the fender edge and then with the new arms at that same position you should tighten the screws. Sry for my english grammar etc. hope its kinda understandable ;)
Hello ✋🏻, i need your advise please. My ride is Audi A4 2006 2.0L ... I had a complete set of control arms replaced today (total 10pcs), and being aligned afterwards, but unfortunately i experienced a very stiff steering wheel. Any clue ?
Bro nice work. I would love a video on the adjustment/alignment of the camber with this setup.
Would love to learn that someday! Great suggestion!

I would have a shop inspect it. Maybe you might not be used to a fresh suspension
What’s the external cooler on the front for?
Are you referring to the front mount intercooler? It’s required when upgrading to a K04, need to keep temps down
@@SaucyB7 looks like a oil cooler? 11:49
Oh I see, that’s an external cooler. This one was set up to the steering rack it looks like by previous owner.
Me waiting for a new vid 😴🛌
Where did you get that grille? Love the car!
It’s OEM titanium with a eBay Quattro logo attached on
