- As requested, here's a video on one of my best sellers. This Puppy poo bag holder, or doggy doo holder, is so simple to make, and they sell very quickly.
Easily made with any woven fabric, and you just need a scrap piece 6" x 5 1/4". Make one, or make hundreds to sell yourself.

Just like everyone has said this is a very easy project and an awesome job on the tutorial. I just made 65 of them for a parade that the wife and I are attending for rescue mastiffs. Each one from the group will get a free poo bag. No messes from our group. I feel it’s a great way to get my name out there. Who knows. Maybe I’ll get lucky. I really do love your tutorials. I actually find the chain stitching somewhat relaxing.
What a lovely thing to do Steven. I find the chain stitching therapeutic as well 😀
Finally, someone who is truly transparent about profits. Thank you.
Thank you Maria 😀
If you sew your fabric to the entire length of zipper tape you will save time and zipper tape. Then cut the tape between the fabric. Finish the bags as you started. Nice tutorial.
That's a good tip Sue. Thank you 😊
Thank you! I made 8 of these today. The 1st one I made all at once just to see how it would go. It was so much fun. I felt so proud of myself, and I'm 65. I then batch managed the next 7. You have a talent for explaining your steps. I've made several of your products and look forward to more videos. Thank you, thank you.
That's fantastic Jill. I'm so happy for you. Keep up the good work 😁
Good morning Christine from Pennsylvania, USA! I have completed my first poopie bag. I am a new sewer using scraps of what I have, including 16” zippers which I cut down. The bag turned out a slightly different size but works for now. I am not good at installing the eyelets yet but will work on that. As a newly retired (again) Nurse Assistant I just want to keep busy and supplement my income, I feel sure these will be a big help. Thank you for your video, I have it bookmarked and go back to it often.
Well done Linda. The eyelets get a little easier each time you do them. 😁
Just found you and I am glad I did. Your tutorials are fantastic. I hate watching when the presenter prattles on with endless chit chat. Your instructions are clean, quick, and complete. This little project is so doo-able and I have everything needed to do some. again, thanks!
Thanks so much nancy. Welcome to the channel😁
I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates extra words that are not necessary 😅
Christine, Thank you for your wonderful tutorial! I love this. I have made collars and harnesses for dogs but never poopie bags. I'm going to make some quite soon. I have several neighbors with dogs who walk them often. I will put them on a pole at the end of the driveway for anyone with a dog to take. I love doing things like this. You are a very good instructor and your demonstration techniques are quite good. Thank you again for such a thorough and well done tutorial. All I need to buy are the swivel hooks, the rest I have plenty of. This will be such a nice treat for the dog owners. ❤️❤️❤️ Kudos to you. Please keep sharing your skills.
Thank you DF, and what a lovely gesture, leaving gifts for others 🙂
Oh my gosh - just LOVE your dog!!
Made my first one, took me 35 minutes. Spent much of this time searching for supplies I already had. Love it! Thank you!
Haha, I do that all the time Pat 😀
Zipper tape by the yard has always mystified me. Thank you for the great explanation.
You're welcome Shari 😊
Love to watch you. You have taught this quilter so much. Thank you for all you do. I have enjoyed making many of your projects for my family, my friends and myself. Please keep up all the wonderful things you do. Thank you again. Quilter gone seamstress in Missouri.
Thank you so much Paula. Dressmaker, turned quilter, turned Jill of all trades 😀
Wow, that's some hard rain coming down.
Super Project. And easy to sew for beginners too. Thank you for sharing!
Please use a copper or Brass plate under the punch. This iron one will unsharpen it evry time you punch on it!
Thanks Bea. This was a brass plate, but you're right. I used another one on an anvil and destroyed the punch🤣
Brilliant tip, thank you. July'24. UK. E ❤
Thank you for the excellent tutorial. I wondered how these tiny zipped bags were made. Buying bulk zippers is so smart - that way you don’t have to run out to buy them when you decide what you want to make on any particular day.
Agreed. I still have many coloured zips, but always the wrong one, so I just stick with one now 🤪
Thank you so much for posting this video. I love your pup.
