because in reality this is all just a very expensive and cool looking LARP. "muh exoskeleton lets me lift thousands of pounds" will never be a thing outside of videogames
I know right? Why people keep making these things, even if it works it's always only good for picking up boxes. I would love me some power armors but man, these will never work.
Wow, I am so impressed by the astounding feats of strength and agility this exoskeleton provides you. With great power, comes great responsibility. Use your new powers wisely
Have you thought about combining passive and active exoskeletons Like passive for stability and support And some kinda of actuator with explosives power, for short bursts of speed. Like iam not an engineer, but would it be plausible to add car engine piston to the exoskeleton. Like they would work in conjunction with the passive part to stop the exoskeleton from ripping your arm off.
if this is for actual combat, it has no use at best this will only be used at base for moving heavy ammo crates or for artillery ammo movers to lower the risk of "Slipped disc"
The skeleton still allows you to move freely, but we cant forget that, if its for military it will lose more than half of its movements because of the plating needed to cover all the components
The overall mobility looks awful, but at least we got a exoskeleton that is not bare scaffolding with electric joints. Also, the running was so slow i could speed-walk or jog way faster than that, and it looked absolutely ridiculous. Anyway, i NEED to see the full arm and shoulder mobility, unless that actually was it, which looked like C-3PO tier mobility. Anyway, i'm glad at least someone tried to go for something on the heavier side of exoskeletons and full body suit rather than just legs and arms.
Whatever you need it for they use similar technology to hold cameras steady usually attached via a gimble arm to a harness. They also have some that are used for loading and unloading cargo at it takes the weight off your spine and knees.
Lot of people dunking on this but im curious how much it weighs, it might be a helluva lot, it might not look fast but im guessing it would pack the momentum of a motorcycle, imagine that barreling into you
I imagine that this is the intention, that it is filled with plates and maintains that mobility, it would be a mix between tank toughness and infantry versatility. I suppose, I don't know, that's how I would build it.
Imagine my disappointment when he didn't lift up that tank.

In the grim dark present of the 22nd century, the "power armor" is still shit.
22nd century would be 2100 to 2199
We are in the 21st century
Just wait for the 410th century, things get crazy.
This is real. 40k is fictional bullshit. So, this is automatically better.
so are the pneumatic tubes just air springs then? does the suit make you run like a gibbon or is that just the operator?
Here, I Putted The Settlement On Your Map. ~ Minuteman Man
Looks like the powersuit from Edge of Tomorrow.
Oh no we’re in that reality…
That’s some pretty sick stuff right there. Hopefully you can develop it more and have a sick suit in the end.
Can you carry 20 kgs with that like Sam Porter in Death Stranding
propably even more
20 kg is only 44 lbs. I can ruck with an 80 pound bag easy. That's like a bog standard infantryman ruck.
Lmao, this is obviously not active, its essentially a fancy comicon costume xD
lmao you're literally the guy nobody likes

Even if it not active exo then it passive one nothing have to be allway active to be call an exo
It's still pretty impressive that guy can move around with that thing without even helping him.
At least Comicon is a good incentive for productivity
So why no testing of lifting heavy objects? Just a costume?
The amount of “strength” this is giving is virtually nothing. It’s not a “costume” but it’s not really doing anything either
It was most likely designed to look cool and not much more than that.
Mobility testing.
