gleason was super smart and very sensitive to who he was talking to....as cavett says here a Great conversationalist...and surprising to me very religious...a real believer....search here for jackie talking to a priest....which is all i recall....

BTW...there is one comedian who would have gone down as the most successful tv comic (show) in history and he was well on his way..except NO ONE could stand working with him....and that guy was.....Red Bottons......

He reputedly had a feud with the actress Carol Lynley on the set of "Poseidon Adventure", and her character and his were practically glued-at-the-hip throughout that film; seems a bit unwise and pointless.

The date must be wrong on this. “They’re Playing Our Song” didn’t open until 1979 on Broadway.

Is this channel ever going to show Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason and/or Art Carney? I don’t have the Decades channel at all.

have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rare much like the other ones.
