Seems like a simple setup, I’d love to turbo mine but realistically what’s the most minimal setup that would work? Guys selling kits for 2k+ no way would it cost as much as that too turbo.
This was EBay manifold and downpipe - 350 ( at the time ) You can buy the flange on eBay and pay someone to make up a log manifold probably be even cheaper again and make a downpipe the flange itself is 45/60 T3:/t4 turbo - ( my previous one I’m tempted to go back to it tbh 👀😂 ) 120 Maxpeeding oil feed/return kit - 60 ish Rank one FCD - 85 Double banjo bolt for the VVTI filter M16 to an6 banjo with a an6 to 1/8npt fitting for the oil feed ( no drilling or tapping of anything) this was like 30 ish MAXPEEDINGRODS generic intercooler setup works perfectly for this I paid 220 That’s like 865 “boosted” For secondary mods Aftermarket adjustable turbo actuator - 120 aem wideband - 170 Rank one 1zz - 200? Maxpeeding rods oil cooler - 85 Gauges for oil temp/presure/boost/watertemp - 70 Fuel pressure regulator- I currently have an eBay one cost like 20e lol definitely go buy a real one for 100+ something real branded name The actual fuel return you just need some pipes message me on instagram if you’re looking it’s quite a lot of small things but cost under 70 for whole return system So that’s like another 720 All together it’s roughly 1500 but you’ve got an oil cooler aem gauge injectors aftermarket east gate actuator etc much cheaper then the kits and you get all the supporting mods! But if you buy from other people the kits they will help you with any issues using my method you’re going at it alone ! I Hope this message helps you and others 🫡
Pain in the ass man, my original cheap AN lines where leaking so replaces with JIC fitting and it was fine but I think I just didn’t tighten them enough or they came loose slowly and that was that sucks I took the whole engine apart and was no issues or signs of damage due to boost even headgasket was fine was only my fault of shit fittings was the reason it let go rip

Dude, anything to do with fuel&oil always use AN lines & fittings. At least the 1gs are only like €100/150 to replace but the hassle of it 😅
