Thanks mate! ❤
Absolutely they’re awesome not to mention hilarious 😂❤
Yeah....they should have over 3mil not 300K
@@kingingit❤
Can’t agree more !! Best one out there❤
So many things to love about this video.
1. Seeing Gary
2. The laughter and fun you both have with each other whilst doing this tough work
3. The blonde bob (my favourite yet)
4. The fact you are putting out videos and doing all of this renovating at the same time - epic!
5. Craig’s hair clips
You need to get Eamon out there. He’ll have you sorted in 2 weeks 🤣
Eamon would but he’s got an important role taking care of Bec and Frankie.
Would he ever! 😂
It won't be up to code but it'll be done 😂
Frrrrrr ahahaha 😂
Yeah!! Love tagging along with all you two get up to! Thanks to Gary for giving us all an update. Nothing but positive energy to you all.
Ah thank you so much! love the positive energy!
Aimee chatting away in the coop then Craig filming her cracked me up so much 😂 loving your journey guys. I would have given up within two mins, you’re smashing it!
10 days ago we were travelling through Scotland and we passed your home and we saw custard the bus parked up. I was going to message and offer some help as my husband is a builder and we had a free day but I didn’t want to seem like a crazy stalker. Now seeing this video I wished we had offered the help as you’ve got a lot to do. I can’t wait to see the future videos and see the progress.
So happy to see Gary is doing well ❤
When you repoint the stone make sure you use lime render. It breathes. Cement will cause damp. Happy building
I totally get It!! I would have hesitated as well. Maybe you could have offered, saying you are totally understanding if they don't want to, and actually hesitate to even ask❤ I Hope they get some.help.cus they Need It! 😂
Hearing from Gary makes everything better. So glad to see he is going well 🥰 But onwards to renovations. I love how you both are up for renovating your home on your own and it gives me confidence to attack any DIY renovations.
6.5 years into our renovation, I wish you guys all the best for yours, I’ll be watching all the way 🏡
wow way to go guys! I can imagine us saying the same in 10.5 years to be honest haha
@@kingingitlol,love ir.👍⚘😊 you will get there,no worries.👍⚘😊
We toned it down after 7 years
Get a back hoe and dig a huge whole hole and fill it with compostable stuff ! No styrafosm or such
21 yrs later…
I'm crying! 😂😂😂 You are better than any sitcom. Thank you for giving us pure entertainment!!! ❤
Always pure pleasure watching these silly willys. 😊
That winged hug was so sweet 💕 May you both stay goofy and fun and lovely forever! It's precious and a delight to watch. Much love 😊
A bike challenge? Sounds like your pals Kara and Nate need to join!
i would love if they did two of the best channels!
That would be great but they have done a fair share of cycling themself.
Nah let them stay on their own channel
@@virajsharma1654 they said they’d like to do a bike trip challenge every year so maybe that’ll be this years
And just like that my day has been brightened! You two are gems
🌷🌷
You two are just such a comedy duo. Love it all. Thanks for taking us along. The butterfly wings and clips in Craig's hair are awesome.
If you get a chance you should metal detect your new land you might find some treasures! Love watching your videos you guys never fail to make me smile 😊
You could get Living the Skye Life as Willie is a serious metal detector.
"Does he need me to knit him a jumper?" Lol
The only thing I want to comment on is Aimee’s hair.
It’s FABULOUS.❤❤❤😇
ah thanks mate! .❤
Welcome to Scotland. You two have the kind of relationship that most people can only dream of. All the best in your new home x
I could NOT stop laughing as you were trying to kick down the post when all you had to do was pull it up and then I hear: "Maybe we are as stupid as we look" No, not stupid just don't know what you don't know. You two are great!! 🤣😂
"Maybe we are as stupid as we look" "Yeah, maybe" Had me dying....
"Does he need me to knit him a jumper?" 😂
Og and Gaz Oakley is a legend - so Gaz - please get your butt up to Scotland and give Trev and Craig with the butterfly clips some love and inspiration - god know they need it !!! @gazoakley
Thank you for the Gary update! ❤ In the USA we call the tool that you call a "strimmer" a weed eater, but from now on, it will always be referred to a strimmer, I love it!! I do not pretend to know much about reno's, but as far as the garbage goes, you need to get a big dumpster. Recycle, repurpose and reuse what you can, but throw the rest in a big dumpster. Stacking it up in the barn is just making another chore for another day. Animals will get in there and make a bigger mess to clean up later. There is my 2 cents, love the 🏠!
Just make it a priority to get the skiff today! Have it at the base of the road and load the truck up and drive it down the hill, and IT'S GONE, FOREVER!
In Australia its known as a whipper snipper.......
You can’t just get one and let it sit there for weeks. They bring em, you fill them, they take them away within a few days.
We also call it a weed eater here in South Africa!
We're doing a double garage clean out because we have a flooded basement every time it rains, but the pros who will come in to fix that problem won't come until we get the basement totally cleaned out and the paneling and ceiling ripped out.... but whatever is salvageable from the basement has to go into the garage. We've filled the dumpster once and had it hauled out. The fee is for delivering it and then taking it away, no extra for the time we have it and it's been a month at least. We're in our 70's and only have our yard man to help occasionally so it's slow going. I can't wait to take a crowbar to the paneling. Kudos to you two for the massive job you've taken on.
The two of you bring be back time and time again! Few people on utube can make me laugh till my belly hurts. I miss you when your not vlogging and look forward to when your back. Thank you for making my days brighter! I can’t wait till next week! Craig when you put the blower toward your face I had to pause till I stopped laughing and Amy your comment after put me over the edge! You two are brilliant!!!
These two are the best always feel better after watching them!!!
"Last job, Blowjob." I'm dyin', Aimee!! I nearly blew the oatmeal out of my mouth. Sooooooooooooo funny. I freaging love you!
My Kings.. I've had a rough week, the notification for this video is one of the first things I've smiled at. Thank you!
ah sending love mate! Hope this brightens your week! ❤❤
❤ just to return of the favor of a laugh: the lawn tool you were using to cut down the tall grass is called a "weed wacker" in America
Create a loading area for the skip at the bottom of the driveway and load it with the small truck. Get a good cover for the skip so material doesn’t blow away. Fill the skip every week or more when needed.
Very very expensive to hire skips though Tommy mate
If a skip is a dumpster. Here in United States, i paid for a big one that was picked up 2x for about 800.00.
The way I laughed when you busted out the “necessary work wear”! 😂 I just love you two!
You named your lizard Celine Dion😭❤️
Have you thought about creating a wildlife pond? It’s the best way to get so much wildlife into your garden. It was a common lizard you found ❤
So glad to hear Gray is doing well! Kudos for wearing PPE 👏 this episode!!!
18:13 "Does he need me to knit him a jumper?", made me smile so much! So wholesome lol
Love your banter in the garden.. reminiscent of me and my gorgeous wife working in our garden! Good Bants makes the job go quicker!!
I am not sure if you will see this, but thanks for your humor and sense of fun. It brings a smile to my face to see how you both enjoy life. Also, how real you are. Would love to meet you. God bless you both. Thanks a ton!
I love sitting around a fire. Love cooking over the fire. I’m spending my time in a hospital these days. My husband has a Grade 4 Glioblastoma brain tumour. We have been watching you from the beginning. I don’t know how much time he has left but I keep him up to date on what you are doing and it makes him smile. Thank you for giving him that.
My husband has the same and he has gone 12 months now , chemo and radiation did nothing but infusions of avastin has stopped it progressing at the moment
@@user-po8jg3lq3l I thank you . We see his doctors on Thursday . I am going to mention that.
@@user-po8jg3lq3l I will keep you in my thoughts and I wish you all the best. This is not easy!
Big love to you! My mom had glioblastoma and it was a heartbreaking journey unlike any other. Praying for you and your husband!
Died laughing at the face blowing. Omg why was that so funny!?! Geez it was hilarious. 😂😂😂
seeing the mice in the walls, you should probably take down the ceiling as well
It’s so sweet how you hold hands so often :) we’re four years into our home reno in the woods. Some days you’re super motivated and others you can’t be bothered 😂
🤣🤣❤
Oh I can so see Kara and Nate doing this challenge with you. You guys are doing a good job for new home owners.
I had the same thought
"Does he need me to knit him a jumper?" so good. haha
You two are the funniest thing to watch on UA-cam!!!!
Don’t chuck the insulation panels ! There expensive + don’t go “off” because they don’t get damp ! Love you guys ❤️
I absolutely freaking love you guys! I’ve loved the travels vlogs, I felt like I was travelling alongside you. Don’t really get to go many places after the death of my 3 year old son my husband suffers terribly with mental health problems and travelling for us is a major no no so watching you guys brought so much joy. I am now loving the new house vids, they are great you’s have me smiling so much! Sending you love ❤
Aw Katie 🩷 we’re so sorry to hear about your son.
I’m glad you got to travel with us. Major love and hugs to you and your husband xx
@@kingingit thank you so much for your reply 🥰 I’m making it one of my life missions to “bump” into you! xx
Blessings nanapollyx Scotland 🙏⭐👸🌠 I lost two sons one took his life at 20 then four years later my oldest son 27 drugs but God is good at 43 had son then 45 son so now 2123 I 66 this August my others 3545 still never forget other sons❤
Oh my gawd you make me laugh!!!! I have not laughed out loud for ages at something on a vlog, when Craig said about Amy talking into the chicken coop I lost it 💛💛💛💛
Can't wait to see what the architect comes up with! You two are killing it. You'll be so happy you did the outside clean up, it will make you happy every time you pull up!
Great news about Gary! He looks fantastic!
Custer is coming in handy as you rebuild your house. Custer is a big help as it is pacing yourselves( it a big job), a place to rest and get something to eat.
I thought she was called "Custard"? 😅😅😅
Keep those pipes they make tunnels for your plants to keep critters off them. If you don’t you’ll have to buy more 😉
This is where you needed bike jones… could scoot up and down for mail
I’m here for this renovation! I’ve been working on mine for 9 years and still not 100% done but getting closer all the time. The demo is the quick part but also the most entertaining! Love you guys and can’t wait to see what you do with it! ❤
Look out for bits of crockery, belt/shoe buckles, coins and the likes when you ‘excavate’😊 we found loads of the stuff when we were building our cottage. We’ve kept it all in a basket. 🥀🌾🌼🌷🌻
As someone who has been through 3 different basement floods (in different houses and for different reasons) I hope that you are taking care of your grade issues 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 before you start removing inside the cottage
Can't wait for the cottage life / cabin days videos! 💛
Cheeky little appearance from the northern lights there? Love the work lads, I agree - the waste is the worst part of navigating any reno job!
Craig, you're so patient! And Amy, ypure so persistent! I love your motivation and humor through it all. You guys making every little job look so fun! Hello from Washington State USA!
I friggin loved the POV change at 19:55, really brings home the dual nature of this project. You know you've got a lot ahead of you, and it's good to see you're enjoying the process!
As someone who’s done a house renovation this is my favourite part. Demolition, big ideas and no clue at all how much any of it is gonna cost 😂. Enjoy guys!
Maybe we are as stupid as we look😂😂😂 timing perfect love love love you guys!!!😁
Gary sounded really good. So glad to see that he is doing well.
Best wishes in the renovation.
You two are absolutely amazing. Loving watching you. You make HARD WORK fun but you must ache at night. Just don’t overdo things. 💕🏴
I love the short hair look on you, Aimee! And Craig's clips on his luscious locks 😂. I look forward to every new episode of your dream cottage ❤
This is a lot of fun to watch! We also moved to Scotland quite recently and are loving it. I will add that: what seems like very hard work right now will soon get easier as you get “work hardened”! You’ll be amazed at the difference.
Ya'll have the best attitude ever....you make my heart smile.
Way to slay the PPE! What progress you’re making!
Craig the butterfly clips are class!
Pleeeeeease wear a full face shield when using the angle grinder!! If the disk explodes, it can be deadly!
You two are amazing and such an absolute joy to watch.!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Gaz Oakley-please go visit Craig and Amy-you’ll be so glad you did ❤and so will they! AMAZING 🤩 people!
Wrong video Kristin, but you’re a babe 🤣🩷
Aimee is giving Suzie Sweet from Balamory vibes with her new hairdo! 😊
You two are hilarious. I always get a good laugh watching your videos. 😂
So excited to receive the notification for this! We're off grid in Bulgaria and have watched you both for years - so great to see you embarking on a project like this ❤
Thanks team - wow that's awesome - hope you're enjoying it!
@@kingingit absolutely loving it 👏 it's quite the learning curve! 🫣
Love Gaz watch him all the time. Yes Gaz Oakley go to Scotland and forage their woods and build a garden! Back to the show....Thank you for the Gary update sending good vibes his way. Love your vision for the out side bathing and hot tub can't wait to see it all completed! Love you guys💞
Omg, I love you two. I love the fact you’ll both have a go at anything and have a right laugh. Big hugs to you both ❤
I LOVE watching you guys! You are such good entertainers. While watching this, I laughed until I cried several times! And something in what you are doing warms my heart so much... I am not so hard on myself now. Love you, good luck!
So good to hear from Garry. Everyone needs a Gary in their lives. What a gem. 💎
Yessssss loving the reno project vids, you’re braver than me! But you guys are smashing through, can’t wait to see Amy’s magical interior design touches when done!! Great video as per guys x
Thanks so much!!
Always so excited when you guys upload another episode of bringing “ Kinging it Cottage “ to life 😁
Often times I wondered if it’s just easier and cheaper to tear down and start from fresh
Can’t wait to see Aimee’s big guns 💪🏼 in a few months! Very excited to see the home you guys create for yourselves.
I could watch these videos forever. Love you guys and so excited to see what you do with your new house! All the best!
The netting with pipes were for protecting the rows of veg and they grow. The piping sticks in the ground as arches and the nets go over them.
I just came here to say, that I’ve just had a crappy day at work and was having a really hard time mentally today.
Then I got home and watched your video and I already feel so much better, lighter. You guys just crack me up and make my day. 😄
Thank you so so much for being here and let us join your journey and just have a laugh or being inspired by you two ☺️
You are incredible people, and you can do incredible things ❤️ (Including a house renovation 😉)
You two are nuts in a good way lol
So glad to see Gary's smiling face! Glad he's coming along ❣
You reno is moving along well too! How exciting once everything is done and fresh, you'll be able to enjoy the fruits of your labour💖
Just wondering if you do have bin rentals in Scotland? Think I'd order one sooner than later. You don't want to be handling the rubbish 2 to 3 times. Plus, you'll be overwhelmed by all of it in the end. Also, if you get rid of the rubbish as you go, you'll see more improvements quicker! It will be more satisfying and your space will be more enjoyable!
I'm sure you've already thought of these things, but as you know, renos can be quite stressful! 😳
Love your videos and your great sense of humour❤❤
Love, love, love you guys💖
Your sauna-moat-bridge-meditation area is going to be fantastic!
You need to invest in a small bobcat/excavator. Take some tips from your Canadian friends Eman and Bec
The place where you’re ripping down the chicken coop and all is probably a perfect place for a garden. If you decided to do one, you could do a quick one if you have to the ground just needs to be turned a little because all those chickens all those years makes great soil. Buy a few tomato plants and other plants that are already started this way it’ll come quicker.
Reciprocating saw cuts through metal like butter.
Safer than disc grinders as well.

I just want to say I love this . And can’t wait to see everything you guys do . I know it will look amazing . You two always bring a smile to my face !!!
I love you guys so much. I heard about you through Eamon and Bec and fell in love with your videos. I am finally all caught up from the beginning. I just finished the videos of your mongo rally and that was so amazing huge congratulations to you both. I applaud you both for taking on your huge renovation on your new cottage. Can't wait to watch your journey. You are both so entertaining and make this 63 year old lady smile and laugh so much. Take care guys love to you.☺💙💚💛💜👍
Gaz Oatley and his perfect vegan egg! He's a legend. And as for the house goes, you got this! As long as Amy remembers to put on her work gloves before handling sheets of glass. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Champions you both are Champions.
I would love to join you on your bike ride, but I'm realistic impossible. I will be cheering you all on and sending my bit of commitment towards the cause as well.
I'm consistently blown away by your enthusiasm and smiles that you include each week.
Thank you
Aw Francine - thank you 🥰 sorry you can’t join us but glad you’ll attend in spirit 🩷
Aww so nice to see Gary, he is amazing sending positive vibes Gary you got this 👍
I recommend if you haven’t already, that you consider looking up protected species of animal & plant for your area to make sure when gardening and renovating that if you come across them you don’t disturb them. There are laws to protect them in Scotland.
Craig! Get yourself an impact driver for screws !! Serious game changer buddy it’ll save you so much time and be 100% easier than the big drill!
Strim? We call that garden tool a Weed Wacker
Strimmer in the U.K.
Great to see your house journey begin and I'm loving the vision you have for it! 😃
You two always make me smile, loving watching the reno. Also, I think that may have been a Lazarus Lizard? Shockingly, we have them here in Cincinnati, Ohio because someone brought them over! Love em!
My absolute favourite content! Excited to sit down later all cosy and watch this 🫶🏼
whoop! Thanks Gemma - big love! ❤❤
Fun vlog. The lizard at 18.15 mins was the common "Lacerta vivipara." Its not amphibious or slimy.. they hibernate in Winter, then live between rocks and live on insects in summer... you will have a lot there.. they live in nests in ground.
So excited for you guys. A big Inglenook fireplace will look AMAZING!
Gary from Barry... thanks for the update. Good luck with your last few weeks of treatment... crossing fingers all goes well!.. can't wait to see you happy and healthy up in Scotland helping the crazy pair😊..
Oh you're a great laugh. I was in stitches watching you. Keep it up. You're so natural. 😂😂😂😂 ❤❤
Love you guys. Make me smile with your comments and banter with each other.
