Is it just me or is the Escalade one of the very few vehicles that just blows you away every time they drop one? They always look like the king of the street (in terms of SUV's) when they are released. To me, this is hands down, the best looking SUV ever made. Another home run for Cadillac. The front lights are perfect and I love how the rear end pays homage to some of of my favorite taillights of the past.
''Cadillac'' especially Escallade's association to the Hip-Hop music genre (Videos, Songs etc.) over the last 20 - 25yrs has defined the brands COOL factor. That music genre made Cadillac cool to the 20 - 45yr old buyers. At a time when other GM products are not as highly regarded. Just look at the success of second generation CTS. Its no coincidence I own a 2010 CTS-4. The 2015 Escallade is a clear class leader.
Got mine last week, moved from BMW X5 to Escalade. Few things i noticed for the folks who are thinking to switch from BMW to Cadillac. Pros: 1. Escalade is spacious, I really liked the big storage compartments and millions of USB ports for phone charging and music storage 2. Big and heavy, I feel safe inside 3. Trunk can be open and closed by remote key, i couldn't close my 2012 X5 trunk with remote key 4. Remote start and remote lock/unlock feature. I really love this option. during winter time i really wish if i had remote start on my X5. 5. power fold 3rd row, not sure if BMW has it now but mine was manual 6. Hill Assist, I find it useful because my driveway is too steep 7. Looks more stylish and futuristic car than X5 with cool LED and long back break lights 8. I love to have turn indicator displayed on my side mirrors, its just me. I find it useful at times. BMW lack this feature 9. Cruse control is easy and its handy on the steering wheel, my model BMW X5 had it on the stick control under the wiper control stick. I always get confused and mess up. 10. BMW child lock sucks, it is on the door, once i forgot to enable the lock and my little one opened the rear passenger door while cursing at 70 m.hr. I love the idea of cadillac having that handy at the driver door control panel to enable and disable child lock. Cons: 1. I think BMW handles better than escalade, let me give few more days too early to comment 2. I loved the auto lock feature that BMW has where you don't have to keep your foot on the break at the red light or at drive through. I miss that :( 3. Escalade back up camera sucks, in the night i better not use it. BMW backup camera is amazing with good quality 4. CUE system is the worst, i think GM should replace that with something else 5. I like the gear shift at the bottom, may be i will get used to this.
Wonderful review. That was the most thorough review of a vehicle that I think I have seen. There is a definite shortage of good video reviews on the internet. Keep up the good work!
I just purchased this same model and was a little confused about the QUE system. Thanks for breaking it down the way you did. In fact, your entire video was quite excellent - one of the best car reviews I'd ever seen. Great work!!
I love your reviews they are so much like I personally am behind the wheel my self, not like a car salesman trying to dump a car on me. keep up the impressive work. you've got a subscriber for life. Thanx again
Motorcar files your a just GREAT! I keep watching your vids OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER a would pay 1 000 000 000 to watch them #FACT and like always keep up the great work

Joe Mesa Hey Joe nice Post ! A possible future buyer get s an honest insight! I found this post concerning Radar Detection,it seems the front-window coating is the problem> www.electro-tech-online.com/threads/antenna-for-radar-detector.108985/ Hope U get some help from this.. Greetings !!
Fabulous job reviewing the 2015 Cadillac Escalade . You explained everything about the truck in vivid detail which answered my questions about the vehicle . Great job .
What a great review of motor vehicles a lot better then Top Gear and them so called presenters. This person gives you what you want to kn ow and in detail.
One major concern I have are the hilariously small brakes 0:56. I'd want something significantly larger to stop this 5,500lb behemoth. I think it would be in Cadillac's best interest to adapt the CTS-V's massive brakes for the Escalade.
Thank you CUE is just fine and easy to use it is always those older guys doing reviews that act like it is programming a computer. They once bashed i-Drive but now they love it.
Incredibly thorough video, and really well done! Far and away the most comprehensive explanation of features for this truck that I've found. Thank you so much!
Christopher Wain Thank you so much! We appreciate your compliments very much! We want to continue to produce quality videos for people to learn from and enjoy the cars like we do!
Thank you!! Unfortunately right now night time shots are difficult as the owners of these beautiful cars only allow us certain time frames, we only keep a select few overnight.
Range rover is more complex and luxuries the Cadillac is the best of what USA can make and where I live (New Zealand) there's no Cadillacs and the Cadillac is a better car personly but the range rover is sill #AMAZING and always keep up the great work thank u
Thanks for the great video and comments on this Escalade. I was looking for a Range Rover. But I heard the maintenance issues with the brand. But now since you said the goodness of the Escalade. I must go test drive her to find out. This Escalade is starting to grow on me. I think Cadillac is making a come back. My family used to only use Cadillac for our vehicles. Back in the late 70'a and early 80's. Then we switched to Mercedes due to the unreliable issues with Cadillac.
+Frank Kwok Thanks Frank! Let me know what you think when you drive it. And obviously do not hesitate to ask us any questions maybe left unanswered by the dealer.
I have a 2008 Escalade and test drove a 2015. Your review was more helpful than the sales person on the test drive. Are those the Gianelle Bologna rims? I know you said you can't tell much difference from stock. After driving the car for a while,do you have the same opinion? Thanks and fantastic review
David Clark First we would like to thank you for your compliments. The rims are indeed Gianelle Bologna in 24" with a brushed/black finish. The only real condition that makes the rim change apparent is when you go over bumps/pot holes at speed. In this you get a bit more noticeable momentary feedback in the steering wheel. Whereas normally you might have a less pronounced momentary vibration with the standard set. Other than that there were no real tangible changes to the ride other than being careful to keep the rim from touching the wheel well at full lock left or right.
Rush, thanks for the compliment. Personally I would venture to say you cant go wrong with any of those 3, but if your used to the feeling of driving a European car then for you it might be wise to go with the RR. However if your ok with switching over the Escalade is the way to go. And I would extend that to say if you are not into the cue system too much the Denali is a great substitute.
GM has the best motorized third row seats, they fold so quickly. A departure from most slow moving units from other manufacturers. Love the lift gate glass opening feature plus the hide away wiper. A great design that all suv's should have. I'm partial to rear end and grill, not my cup of tea but hey you drive in it more then you see the outside.
It is amazing how people bash GM and American vehicles. But what kills me the driveways that I've passed no matter where I live I see a Accord, Camry, Altima, Passat, C-Class, TL ,5 series and what is on the other side of the driveway a Escalade. I seen a family with two Prius and a Escalade Hybrid. .lol Although people have mixed feelings about this car it is the prettiest luxury SUV. I've seen Land/Range Rover the quality is way better than the Escalade so I've heard. Lincoln Navigator back in the day was sharp'97/98 but now are ugly and other large luxury SUV are funny looking. Great review.
misterjgl we agree this new 2015 Escalade will be a hard vehicle to bash. It does everything so well and looks so good. Overall as far as a luxuy SUV is concerned the new Escalade is everything GM reported it would be. Thank you for your compliments!
Thanks for all the information on the 2015 Escalade. I am now the owner of one, mine has 4 wheel drive, I haven't put it in 4 wheel yet. Oh and thanks for letting me know about the lift gate height change... Good to know. I have more questions! But right now I'm enjoying the new truck...
Brenda, thank you for your compliments :) we encourage questions. Anytime you have a concern or a question about your new Escalade just drop us a line, we hope that we can be helpful to you...!!!
Your Video is very helpful and analytic. As I am a 2007 Escalade owner,I have my own unlikes and likes for the Escalade and I wonder if the new Escalde has covered up most of the unlikes. Specially in comparison with the Range Rover Vogue and the Lexus LX570. They are as follows : 1. The outside noise including air noise. 2. As the car get older you here squeaks here and there internally. And this is general problem with all American Cars. 3. Although I had 22" rim on, which is not the Standard rim for this car but I find the car too bumpy on rough roads and you would feel almost every pit and crack on the road. Sometimes you feel that there is no Shock absorbers here. This is a fact as I have changed Engine and gear mounts Twice ! Although I have these findings, I wish they all recovered as I still like the Car and I would consider it again. I think you will do great if you make a Comparison Video for the Escalade, the Vogue and the LX570.
What a great in depth review!! I really enjoy your style of review and I think it's right up there with SaabKyle04! Keep up the good work. Have y'all done a Subaru WRX STi yet? If not, you should do an 06 or 07, a 13, and a 15. I would love to see those videos at some point in the future!
We are looking into obtaining a 15 WRX in the next couple of weeks for a full review! We appreciate your compliments tremendously. It is fantastic to be compared to the best reviewers UA-cam has to offer!
Dope review, easily the best on UA-cam even though you have like 5 videos! Can I make a request for the Mercedes S Class 2014 and the Lamborghini Aventador? Thanks and you have my full support!
Thank you! We are working on reviewing a 2015 S63 here in the next week, so that should be a great car. It looks like the Aventador we will do in a couple of weeks, in the Roadster variation.
This is one of the most thoroughly reviews I have found on the Internet. Thank You. I have been researching for an SUV and have been waiting for this new model. The Range Rover would be the extreme of what I am in search of. If you can I would be interested for a thorough review of the New Mercedes Benz GL Class Especially the GL-550. Again Thanks.
Motorcar File That is good news. the GL-63 from my understanding is the model with the max horse. This will be interesting to compare to the GL-350 Bluetech. Again, thanks.
Thanks for your comment! The rims were purchased a few days after the truck was delivered at a tire shop a few miles away from the dealer. They were paid for separately, and they appear to be a pretty popular choice for this truck.
it's a really nice looking suv the price tag is a pain for now, but just you wait by the next 5+ yrs.. it'll be way more affordable i wanna consider this as my future family car.. :D
Great Job!! Your Review was very clear and understanding. Nothing to worry your videos are superb! Keep it up!! It's good that if u car make a video of Cadillac Escalade 2015 0-62mph test and Top Speed Ride. :) :)
The new Escalade looks amazing the exterior looks totally futuristic equality if the interior is totally high tech innovative everything from the high super high quality leather real metal trimming & accents to the real wood in lays the high quality hand craftsmanship and feel GM in build quality craftsmanship not just with the Escalade but all of the vehicles
Thanks for reviewing the Escalade. So, do you feel that the Escalade's handling is just as good or better compared to the unibody SUVs like the GL Class & Land Rover Range Rover? Also, how ample is the power of the truck compared to the Land Rover Range Rover?
Thanks for your comment! For power, hands down the Range Rover in the supercharged variant is the way to go. For handling the Escalade is the happy medium between the GL and the Rover. The GL feels very rigid particularly with the sport AMG wheels. It is very road worthy and feels planted with very minimal body roll for a large SUV. Whether this is done with clever suspension tricks or just a product of the build we can not tell, but it does feel fantastic on the road. The Rover has a much more subtle and soft sensation, while it handles very well, it is not an SUV I would be aggressively driving through corners. The opposite side of that coin is that the Rover feels like it would do much better off road. Which is why we say the Escalade is kind of the happy medium, a SUV that feels like it can do it all well.
I GOT AN 07' WITH 150K ON IT..STILL RUNS LIKE A CHAMP..AS SOON AS IT BREAKS DOWN...I'M GETTING THE NEW ONE..BEST SUV ON THE PLANET...PERIOD
Is your 07 still running if so how many miles are on her? Just curious about Cadillac's longevity
@@custommade8830 actually it is still running great...it now has 207k on it
The old Escalade was literally a Suburban with a chrome grille. I'm so glad this one is so much more refined
By watching this video.. You feel as if you are driving this beautiful ride.. Thanks for the deep analysis
Abdulrahman, thank you for your kind words!
Lincoln made some changes to the Navigator for 2015, but Cadillac has nothing to worry about.
''Cadillac'' especially Escallade's association to the Hip-Hop music genre (Videos, Songs etc.) over the last 20 - 25yrs has defined the brands COOL factor. thank you so much for this great review .I must say that this is the best review on the escalade so far!!

That means a lot to us! Thank you!
I hope someday I will drive this wonderful 2015 Escalade!!! This is the best review ever!!! Good job!!!
Thanks!!
I hope I do too!!
Im very impressed with this new All New 2015 Cadillac Escalade. Sharp Looking but the High Tech to go with the Sharp lines and the Futuristic Look.
This is my first time watching one of your videos, and they are incredibly good.
Thanks!!!
I just bought my Escalade and love it. Your video helped a lot in understanding all the features, even though the sales person did show me. Thank you.
Thank you for watching!!
This is actually an extremely nice car! I love it
Great review, on must points.
First, the dreaded CUE. Yes, it will take some time to learn it. But once you figure it out its very nice and quick. Its very flexible and responds much better than other vehicles I've owned.
Second, it does have the rear hatch foot opening feature. Its not a wave feature you just kick forward to open or close.
This is my wife's vehicle (2015 with newer Caddy emblem) and we love it. My favorite features are:
The cruise control that maintains its distance, even stopping if needed. and the adjustability of the distance in front. I have another car with this feature, but it doesn't work as well as the Caddy.
The mileage isn't as bad as I thought. On ideal conditions I've gotten near 20MPG. And as its only a month old, that should improve with time. This vehicle has that 4 cylinder deactivation feature. Not sure when it's on or off, though. Which I guess is a good thing.
Love onstar, many features on board and through an iPhone app.
I like to drive it on sport mode. This is a huge vehicle and on tour mode its a little to cushy for me (but I'm coming from sports cars, and many Euro vehicles). My wife prefers the tour mode. And it's nice you can pick, how firm and tight the SUV is.
It's got a bunch of bells and whistles that are to many to list.
On the bad side:
Not a fan of the drive selector. I understand the clientele is used to it. But it's slightly blocks one of the A/C vents and it detracts from a perfect interior. Not a huge complaint, just would like a much smaller selector like Audi, Bimmer or MB, uses.
Can't use my radar detector because of the surround sonar stuff going on or the windshield sensors. Valentine One is "trying to fix this". Again not a huge negative.
I know not to many negatives, but I'm very impressed with this vehicle.
My wife and I shopped around for a larger luxury vehicle with seating for at least six. She had a Range Rover, which she loved, but it didn't offer seating for more then 4 (back seat was tight). The Lexus was not our favorite. BMW now offers more seating but again it's tight. MB's monster SUV wasn't bad but was getting way to expensive for what you get.
Now when our grown kids want to go somewhere we can all fit very comfortably and don't have to go in separate vehicles. Yes, it's huge. Yes, you can get most of the stuff in a Chevy or GMC. But it fills our needs and hasn't disappointed us yet. I would highly recommend this vehicle if you're looking for luxury large SUV.

Fabulous job reviewing the 2015 Cadillac Escalade . You explained everything about the truck in vivid detail which answered my questions about the vehicle . Great job .
The rims look fricken amazing on this👌
What a great review of motor vehicles a lot better then Top Gear and them so called presenters. This person gives you what you want to kn ow and in detail.
david mudd Thank you so much I really appreciate that!
You can't be serious about bashing top gear which is easily known as the best automotive show period.
+CASTRO45ACP It's certainly funny show, i love it, but it's not about cars...they do talk about them, yes and thats why it's confusing.
Love how u go through the cars it's all most like ur right in the car with u
Thank you that was our whole intent so your comment is greatly appreciated!
One major concern I have are the hilariously small brakes 0:56. I'd want something significantly larger to stop this 5,500lb behemoth. I think it would be in Cadillac's best interest to adapt the CTS-V's massive brakes for the Escalade.
Logan Pell agree
+Logan Pell
If you are driving it like a race car then you would need them breaks. But if you are driving it like a SUV they are not needed.
+bighands69 driving on the freeway etc. is essentially driving like a race car
Thank you CUE is just fine and easy to use it is always those older guys doing reviews that act like it is programming a computer. They once bashed i-Drive but now they love it.
Thanks! We totally agree, it is just an adjustment for everyone before they get used to it and start to love it.
The 1st generation i-drive was horrible but now BMW has changed it which is more intuitive and user friendly.
Amazing review, even though its almost 40 mins long it was pleasure to watch till the end, wasn't boring for a single second, great job! Subscribed!
Thank you so very much for your comment!!
This thing is bling and luxury on wheels, would definitely get one if I had enough money, subscribed by the way.
Thank you so much Mitchell!!!
Excellent and very thorough review! I'll have to check out the rest of your videos

Thank you so much!!!
Found this channel by accident ,but I subscribed , nice videos guys !
Thank you so much! We appreciate the support!
I bought the 07' as soon as it came out. Cadillacs have character. And i like the fact that a lot of people hate them.
Good review, better than anything on youtube
Nathan Nan Awesome compliment! Thank you!
magnificent wheel choice.
The best truck ever so dam sexy and sinister at the same time.
Outstanding vid and SUV , once again no night time showing most important. Thank you Colin Arnold, New Zealand
Thank you!! Unfortunately right now night time shots are difficult as the owners of these beautiful cars only allow us certain time frames, we only keep a select few overnight.
I love the way they look my moms in the process of buying one!!
The new Escalade looks like a real top SUV competitor! But in all honesty nothing compares to the RR! The RR is engineering greatness!
Great detailed and thorough review. I subscribed!
Thank you !!
This is the best SUV in the world.
Seriously
The AMG GL 63 IS ACTUALLY #1
Escalade Come's as Second
Yeah, the GL, now GLS, is the most epic SUV in my view. I own one, so I might be biased, but I think they are pretty awesome.
Range rover is more complex and luxuries the Cadillac is the best of what USA can make and where I live (New Zealand) there's no Cadillacs and the Cadillac is a better car personly but the range rover is sill #AMAZING and always keep up the great work thank u
We agree, the new Rover is quite an exquisite SUV.
Ok thanks

Brenda, thank you for your compliments :) we encourage questions. Anytime you have a concern or a question about your new Escalade just drop us a line, we hope that we can be helpful to you...!!!
Cool review. I'll buy this Escalade one day =) Thanks
Your Video is very helpful and analytic. As I am a 2007 Escalade owner,I have my own unlikes and likes for the Escalade and I wonder if the new Escalde has covered up most of the unlikes. Specially in comparison with the Range Rover Vogue and the Lexus LX570. They are as follows :
Thank you!!! We will try to review the Vogue, and 570 soon here in the next couple months, should make for an interesting comparison!
Nice video, subscribed!
Ryan, thank you so much! We appreciate your support!!
Sweet. Make sure it's a 6speed!

It looks like the Aventador we will do in a couple of weeks, in the Roadster variation.
great video, changes my opinion about the new escalade, subscribed!
Thank you!!!!
Best review I ever saw,Thanks.
+Sam Clark Thank you!
Would you recommend an escalade for a first time driver?
This is one of the most thoroughly reviews I have found on the Internet. Thank You. I have been researching for an SUV and have been waiting for this new model. The Range Rover would be the extreme of what I am in search of. If you can I would be interested for a thorough review of the New Mercedes Benz GL Class Especially the GL-550. Again Thanks.
Luis, we will try to do a GL. We are actually trying to schedule a GL63 but will also look out for a 550 in case we can get to that first. Thanks!
Motorcar File That is good news. the GL-63 from my understanding is the model with the max horse. This will be interesting to compare to the GL-350 Bluetech. Again, thanks.
I will own one, one of this days
Great detailed review. Nice job!
Wow. Love those rims
Well done. I am curious about the ESV size, driving ability.
I thing YOu guys should upload newer reviews more often
Love this review. Looking to own one real soon.
Thanks for the compliment! When you get the new Escalade you enjoy it!!
Great review. Love the rims. Do they come standard? Are those courtesy of cadillac?
Thanks for your comment! The rims were purchased a few days after the truck was delivered at a tire shop a few miles away from the dealer. They were paid for separately, and they appear to be a pretty popular choice for this truck.
The rims are perfect match for esacalde. Thank you for the reply. Looking forward for more car reviews. Cheers.
THE BEST CAR

the price tag is a pain for now, but just you wait by the next 5+ yrs.. it'll be way more affordable

One of my cars. Cadillac Escalade . Then Rolls Royce Down . And finally for every day activities BMW X6m.
nice job... im getting mine Saturday March 7th ... platinum ... cant wait... i swaplease my GL450 (junk... biggest mistake ever)
Thank you! You will enjoy this SUV very much!
I like how you show the details
Thanks!
It's nice to see something American that I wouldn't hesitate to place above the Germans.
We completely agree. And this might even extend further when the 200mph 640hp CTS-V comes out!
Great review mates . Is this standard edition , and can you make review for the platinum edition thank
