I'm glad to see you upload again George. Seeing you make these videos about how you've been able to detach yourself from skateboarding to some extent and being able to try and grow and try to reinvent yourself has always even super inspirational to me make. Currently at the age of 18 I'm trying to figure out my way I'm also trying to reinvent myself and detach myself from skateboarding and seeing your videos about this stuff has actually helped me out a lot. It's a mentality i'm still working on but it's getting there. So thank you. 🙏

I always liked fall but seeing you talk about it so much in your videos made me Fall in love with it even more back then, so till this day when fall comes around I think about this channel. Glad to hear that you're feeling better about this stuff!
I think I got caught in the same exact mechanism.
I started skating 12 years ago (i'm now 21) an it's been my coping mechanism forever (an outlet for everything, from bad grades or stupid stuff like that up until pain from drug related stuff in my family) and I obviously identified in that deeply.
Isses started rising around 2019, from then on, I started feeling the need to skate every single day in order to feel good mentally and prevent a concirning amount of anxiety, whenever I skipped a single day, I would feel like shit(anxiety, self-depreciation and very serious stuff).
3 years later, it lead me to stop because it was too much.
Also, i find the skate scene here in my town (in northern italy) to be really toxic, not creative and not appealing overall. I am considering to start skating again maybe once or twice a week in a different city and just skate by myself while I'm in my hometown.
Last time I skated was 40+ days ago and to be honest, I don't even know what I feel about it.

Yess, I'm up for the Poulos acoustic covers. I've played guitar for a few years before starting skating a couple ago and the relentless practice requirements for both are very addictive and rewarding lol

I needed a break from skateboarding because the accumulated incline of Brooklyn parks has been destabilising my hips. The incline is not immediately noticeable but it is the combination of 3: incline of street, plaza, and the obstacles such as banks/quarterpipes. It adds up after prolonged skating, and thus deserves reCooperation ehh? ehhh? lulz

I remember on my mom's birthday my big brother fell on me and I broke my leg. Right after I got my cast off I started skating again😭😭I still had to let it heal for like a month lmao
